Once updated from Indonesia Miui 11 Android 9 rom to Android 10 and installed a recovery incorrectly and I have returned to
lock my Redmi Note 8 Pro (Begoña) and this time I have not waited for the battery to drain as in the previous one (post # 196)
I have used the Test Point method.
This is what I have done:
-Copied the folder from the Indonesian rom V10.4.2.0, once the zip is unzipped, in Computer> C
-Installed SP Flash Tool v5. 1924 Win also in C
-Removed the back of the mobile and removed the housing that is above the battery (Photo 1).
-Prepared a piece of fine copper wire, I have connected one end to a screw on the mobile plate making ground (Photo 2) and to
the other end I have connected a nail (Photo 4) .Then I have opened the Flash Tool and I have put the scatter that
*it is in the "images" folder of the rom that I had copied in C, and the DA and the authentication file that is in it
*Flash Tool folder and I have connected the usb cable to the mobile, only to the mobile.
-I pressed "Download Only" and connected the other end of the copper cable, prepared with a nail, in the
*point Kcol0 (Photo 3) and I have connected the usb cable to the computer. The bottom bar of the FlashTool has started to fill in
*color red first and then change color until the "Download Ok" symbol appears
*I have done it with the battery disconnected (others say it is connected) and with all the files marked on the
*Flash Tool (others say that you only have to mark the preolader) and it has worked for me.
*
After a few minutes the mobile has started with MIUI 10 and Android 9, as expected by the rom with which I have done it and
then I have already installed MIUI 11 and then I have updated to Android 10, both with MiFlash20191206 of Xiaomi. To finish
installing the appropriate recovery, this time yes, and doing root
If you have disconnected the battery, open the phone as in photo 1 of the three that I attach.

The first time it crashed I revived it waiting for the battery to drain (post # 196) and now I have it back
to briquet when flashing wrong twrp and I have not waited for it to be exhausted again but I have done it
with a test point.
In photos two and three I show you where you have to connect the cable and privately I send you a link to an explanatory video
because I don't know if I can put links to youtube here.
It worked perfectly for me on the first try.

I definitely would appreciate anything that would get this flash to go through... I already have mine apart and have been trying everything to get it unbricked with no success as of yet...

Your method does not work because it depends on the motherboard you are using, for example the Mediatek uses another type of test point and they are blocked, I think that is why Xiaomi does not want to give more support to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (Begonia) as devices!
I have tried it several times and it does not work, the only thing is a working method is: Having the volume up pressed until the Mode Flash mode is activated and with the SP Flash Tool. The problem is that it asks for an Authorized Account and it is what I am looking for (of course to payment)
The Procedure
0. Unzip your device's firmware.
1. Install MiFlashPro.
2. Navigate to (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/mi and run "account_auth.exe" (Run as administrator). In the window that opens, log in with an authorized Xiaomi Account.
3. Navigate to (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool nad run "flash_tool.exe". The SP_Flash_Tool interface opens. Now you have to select the 3 files:
Download-Agent: (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/MTK_AllInOne_DA_mt6765_mt6785.bin
Scatter-loading File: You will find this one on your stock rom folder, especially on the folder called "images".
Authentication File: (installation_directory)/MiFlashPro/SP_Flash_Tool/auth_sv5.auth
4. Press the "Download" button.
5. Connect the USB cable to your PC but NOT YET to your phone.
6. Hold the vol+ button on your phone pressed and NOW connect the cable to it.
7. The program should now react and start the flashing process without giving an error.
8. Wait for the flashing process to end and enjoy!

Touch Pro 2 RHOD210 Damaged (Turn halfway)

Hi first of all sorry for my English, I speak Spanish and use the google translator. Thanks.
Well, as the title says, my PDA does not run.
XDAndroid was running, was discharged and went out. Did not catch more.
I put a load, did not catch, I thought (Very downloaded) and I left an hour later I returned and was completely cold, I try to ignite anything (scared me).
After many attempts, definitely not given the desire to light. (I panicked thinking that the processor was so cold that I found the phone after 1 hour charge.)
I got home and I kept fighting (disappointed) and Bang! Lit!, left the HTC logo, then the boot HTC Sonidito and boom again, went off!.
I am excited and I kept giving and re-turn, removed the magazine and came to the screen that says "windows" and left the 4 balls of "hourglass" of multiple colors and said: He lit!, but he gave warning super battery low (just rang) and went out.
At this point I do not think (and I do not want most of all) that may be the processor, I guess you have to "process"to get there.
The PC no longer recognizes that "USB Composite Device" is not to do, I despair!
Thanks in advance!.

Llegué a casa y seguí luchando (decepcionadamente) y Pum!

i think your battery is dead. try to replace the battery with a new one.

Help I can not install roms or re-stock in my htc

In download mode find the main os version and take note of the file name it is asking for at the bottom of the screen. Make a note for later.
Google for and download the corresponding firmware ruu in zip format and DOUBLE CHECK THE MD5 MATCHES THE ORIGINAL WHERE YOU GOT IT FROM!!.
Rename the zip to what it was asking for at the bottom of the screen in download mode and copy it to a micro sd card. MAKE SURE YOY DOUBLE CHECK THE MD5 ON THE SD CARD TOO.
Put the micro sd card in the phone, connect a working charger and boot to download mode, it should prompt you to press vol+ to flash the stock firmware.
Wait a short while until the phone reboots completely.
If you have any errors and you're absolutely sure you have the correct ruu then your phone may have a fault.
Translated by Google

Rooted EMUI 8.2 to 9 via OTA

Hi Guys,
so the EMUI 9 (Pie) update is now rolling out and is telling me to update (OTA)..
currently rooted (magisk) and has twrp installed..
flashed back stock recovery but the OTA did not continue..
am I missing other steps? do I need to uninstall magisk and unroot?
Device = PAR-LX9
P.S. > OTA patch updates before in EMUI 8 continue despite having twrp and magisk installed
(after OTA it just removes root and twrp so I'll just flash them back; but it's not the case now with EMUI 8.2 to 9)
anybody who experiences more or less the same?
thanks
did you pay to get ur BL unlocked>?
HuRUpdater works
I did. HuRUpdater works except when including recovery.img (the phone reports an error with Volume up + Power)
I'll try to flash TWRP via fastboot; The partitions are still the same right? recovery_ramdisk?
Update
Ok, I was able to flash TWRP via fastboot...
(Note: Bootloader should be unlocked)
this guide in the P20 Pro forums works:
forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/how-to/guide-manual-update-p20-pro-hurupdater-t3816283
BUT
do not include twrp renamed to recovery.img (or any image for that matter).. for some reason the phone says it's invalid data when you try to reboot to TWRP when including it in HuRUpdater
to be safe just include update.zip , update_all_hw.zip and update_data_public.zip in HuRUpdater
after the procedure in the P20 forum.. reboot just to check if the firmware is installed.. ***you will lose root and TWRP***
then, reboot to fastboot and flash TWRP as usual..
then you can proceed with rooting (I didn't root for now..)
Cheers,
hi
i have PAR-LX9 and no have update yet to emui 9, need wait a little more.

Good morning everyone, I need help with my one plus 5, I am in version 5.1.7, 8.1, from there I have tried by all means, twrp, adb, side load, dirty load, flashing by MsmDownloadTool, to update to android 9.0 or higher, but when the updates finish successfully, the phone starts with the screen on but does not give any image, nor by restarting the screen it loads, it looks illuminated, but nothing else, I think the solution may be in the Information from the Treble Info application that I downloaded and says: 1- Treble and VNDK, your device supports the legacy version of the Treble project using VNDK version 27.0
2- System as Root, Your device does not support System as Root. Use an A-only operating system.
3- Architecture, Your device is ARM64.
4- Background updates, Background updates are not supported. Your device must go into recovery mode to install updates, and there is a high risk of failure compared to devices that support background updates.
What happens is that the previous information is not interpreted to be able to carry out the updates correctly following these parameters, I ask you to please give me a cable step by step to be able to update, thank you very much and excuse me throughout this consultation.
Usa un sistema operativo A-only.
