Hi all,
Noob user here
I've a problem with my XDA IIs that I thought I'd get some advice on rather than dispensing of it. Basically...it won't switch on. When plugged into mains the red light comes on for a bit then goes off.
Phone was working perfectly, put it in my pocket got home and nothing, assumed it crashed but doesn't respond to anything. Has been sat on my wardrobe for over a year but could do with using it for sat nav.
Any advice on what to try? Could be the battrey but don't wanna fork out extra cash for a new one as it's even more money lost
If I wasn't to fix it, any idea on what it's worth? Screen is unmarked and it has all standard accessories with it.
Ta
Save you BA man! More or less it's the battery (I think). Or the internal battery is drained to 0%. Have you tried charging it first for a couple of minutes?
Yeah tried charging overnight. Charge light comes on for a bit then goes out. Does the same thing when connected via usb, red light comes on but it doesn't register on the pc.
Was working fine but then one day it just woudn't come on. Would like to keep it if I can, got a touch diamond too now, but this is actually a better phone to use!
try to use a different battery first. And let's see what happens next.
Yeah, I may have to but want to avoid as much extra cost as I can
Bit more info, using the docking station plugged into the mains:
Batt alone - Charge light on dock comes on.
BA alone - Red light on BA comes on.
BA with batt attached - no lights on.
Any ideas??
can you try to put it in bootloader mode?

Don't know how to
Plus it doesn't actualls switch on or register on the PC, so can I do much to it?
It's just like what I did with my BA a few days ago, I am flashing it with a new ROM and while in the process I intentionally unplugged the cable during the process and I got an error on my PC and my BA does not turn on anymore. I tried to put it in bootloader mode a couple of times and it did and I re-flashed it again. And it works. Check the wiki...

no need to buy at once, borrow first, then if your BA works using another's batt, thats the time you need to decide spending... cheers
The same problem I had!!!!!!!!!!
I had this trouble... and... YUP!!!!! is the backup battery.
So you cant charge your BA via USB if the main batt reaches less than 35% so keep it safely above 35% men...
BTW... if you have your batt less than 35% the OS can be runing just a little seconds so your batt is dying is not truth that it have 35% it has almost 5% trust me...
Yes!!!! the red led Turns On a little then Goes off... so sad isnt it?... now your backup batt is almost 0% thats why your red led appears... so...
Get a craddle USB-AC_Charging base it has a backtrace to charge apart the batt charge it individual. Once you get a full charged main batt, let your BA rest a little on the freezer to obtain a little power of the Backup batt... (YES ON THE FREEZER!!! ) at least 3 minutes before you plug the main batt.
It wakes up the device... maybe it becomes a few seconds on but... is enough.... if it starts... cradle your entire device on the craddle and wait till its full charged... again the green led appears cause the main is full but let it charge more and more... caus there is no led indicator for backup batt.
NOP!!!!!!! I dont do the freezer trick when i had this problem... cause i get it works faster than you...
Hope this works... post your adventure men....
Red Hanks/Que - Tried both those (ok, maybe not the freezer bit!), and stil no joy. Gonna go out over the weekend and see if a repair shop can try another battrey. Otherwise I may be saying goodbye :-(
Phezthie - The BA was rare when new, now they are non-existent. No chance of borrowing a friends.
Cheers for the help guys.
Well it is a nice idea!
you can make a modded battery for BA with two nokia bl 5c taiwan batts... check the post on winmo 6 subforum.
In my opinion. it's the internal battery since you didn't use the phone for over a year. Hope you can make your BA alive again because there's so much nice apps waiting out there...
I was using it daily before this though, it suddenly stopped working one day. It did however crash a few times before it finally went. I'll have a read up on changing internal batt. Red...I'm gonna try and save it!
Ok...keep us posted and good luck mate!

both batteries, main and backup, could be the reason thats why you need to determine which one of it by isolating the cause of the problem. to know if its the main battery, you can improvise by using different battery with same voltage rating (3.7volts, no need to worry as to the Ah rating), but be sure to connect the proper polarity to the BA's correct pin terminals, otherwise, power circuit of your BA will be compromised.
As to the backup battery, you can do nothing it but to replace if defective. the "freezer trick" is actually one of the shattering myths of electronics and cannot be relied upon to have an optimal performance, as it neither charge nor extend the life of the battery. it simply reduces the the power dissipation (power loss due to heat and resistance) during the initial boot so that it can draw enough power to run unit in its chargeable condition.
but since it is not prossible to borrow or no available battery can be used as a test unit, I suggest that you try the first procedure aforementioned, this of course, if you are familiar with battery polarities and know the corresponding terminals of the unit. regards
Hmmmm, my diamond has a 3.7v batt...never thought of that!
I'm near preston, with the origional battery . .
I'm near preston, with the origional battery . . fully charged, will last 6/12Hrs=using it, P.M. me ur postcode + House #, I will send it to you to try
(stick with the BA, new HTC Elf is half the PPC, that the BA is!!!!)
FleaBay'd a 2400mAh (incl shipping)=under £10GBP !!! (late last year)

Cheers mate, but I've just paid for one off ebay so I'll just wait for that to come now. If it doesn't do it I may be selling up...
Fingers crossed
Ok, new battrey arrived this morning. Gave it a charge and just tried it...
....no change
Screen, green and blue top corner and red end call lights momentarily flash when I press the power button. Then nothing.
Both batteries seem to charge in the cradle but not in the phone.
So, any other suggestions oh technically superior ones??
Btw, I received 2 batteries this morning, so I've listed the new one to get some cash back here:

Greetings! First Off I'd like to say xda-developers rock! I've searched high and low for a solution to my prob and cannot quite find one. My Jasjar has a very hard time coming on. Most of the time a soft reset will not do the trick. I bought a brand new battery with no luck. If you take the battery out, wait about 4hrs or so, and put the battery back in sometimes it will boot to winmo and work fine for about 15min. then the screen will fade leaving blue lines across. After that it unresponsive even if you try to charge it. The battery meter in the phone reads 100%

I'm at my wits end with this. I love the phone but i might have to sell it on ebay.
PLEASE HELP ME!
what internal battery are you talking about and where did you get the new one?
I got a new external battery from ebay. i used the voltmeter to test it to make sure the correct volts are putting out. and it was

Is there a way to solve this (I've got a spare battery)? Any chance of getting an updated NBH?

if your phone truly isn't charging the battery you can always hotwire it to the positive and negative wires from a clipped usb cord.
holding the wire to the terminals of the battery for a few minutes can get you running again.
however...
I have found that often if you just unplug the phone, remove the battery from the phone and then discharge the phone (pressing power button) then reinstall battery, you can then plug in the phone to get a charge...
let it charge for 15-20 minutes and then turn it on without the powercord.
resume charging once running.
I'd advise against the hotwiring method, since unless you have a lot of experience in wiring you run a risk of damaging something due to shorting wires, put it this way, I am experienced in electronics assembly, and wouldn't try this unless there was no other way.
However my method is similar to the one mnjm suggests, I have run out of battery once or twice on android, and I pull the battery, replace it, plug in the charger, wait until the light goes out, disconnect charger, pull and reinsert battery again, power on the phone, wait until it starts the second stage of booting, ( bootanimation), then plug in the charger. Usually works fine.
Or try this:
Pull the battery, replace it, plug in the charger, don't wait wait until the light goes out, power on the phone while light is ON.
I have run out of battery many times while testing battery patch an this always worked for me.
My battery meter was acting up lately and I decided to let my phone die. Let it run out of power to correct the battery meter. It was either 100% charged or less then 1% charge.
Now it won't boot. I see the X animation and nothing happens. I just keep watching the animation. The animation keeps resetting. I hate to think that my Android installation corrupted just by letting the battery run dry?
Will it even charge if I plug it in? I wanna try reinstalling Android to get it working again.
**EDIT**
Yep, corrupt installation.
I have no idea why draining the battery would do that, but it did. I reinstalled Android and it booted again.
My phone lost charge overnight the other day and I found plugging in usb power and using the hard reset button made it boot and then it would charge up OK.

yeah...I was regretting typing that.
obviously if you are not confident in your understanding of what you are doing then AVOID playing with bare wires.
you don't have to fear electricity...
but you do need to respect it.
I know you are confident, just making sure people knew that there were potential dangers, it's not that a cut down usb lead is dangerous as far as shock hazards go, more the remote possibility that a shorted lead could perhaps cause major battery problems, since hotwiring them, while it does charge the battery, provides no short-circuit protection, it is remotely possible, (but unlikely), that this could cause fire hazards.
If I was really desperate I might do this with a zener diode rather than just bare wires.

One of the dangers, that's why it should be fixed in the NBH, any chances for a fix, anyone working on this at the moment ?
I'm thinking of buying the motorola milestone, but it's still expensive (350 euro's).

I can actually buy a phone with my upgrade discount, but I love my Kaiser too much to let it go. Plus it's a better learning experience when dealing with Android.
If I bought a new Android phone, I wouldn't do much of anything with it, besides use it as a smart phone.

Seriously? By the time they unlock it, there will be a new phone to buy.
Meh, besides, I never lose my old phones. They turn into "hand me downs". My sister has my old HTC Wizard right now. If things get really bad, I still have my old Nokia NGage. Yes, I own one of those.
Same thing has just happened to me, except I can't turn the phone back on at all now.
Was running the latest Kaiser NBH from DZO whilst using Myn's rom, I had a number of issues with battery life using android with it going from 75% charge to 0% and soft resetting by itself.
Anyways this time it hasn't woken up after doing just that, it was working fine then it turned off and I can't get it back on.
It just won't power on, there is no charging light but then again that only came on once android was booted never on startup with the android NBH, it was fine with Windows Mobile.
I have removed the battery, put it back in but nothing.
Swapped out for another working battery that I have spare, but nothing.
Tried a hard reset, still nothing.
It's just not starting at all now.
The phone was working and was on the side not charging and all of sudden it turned off and hasn't come back on since.
Bit annoyed.

Sorted it now, note to self and anyone else who has done this.
Usually what occurs is when the phone powers off when the battery has not been calibrated properly it requires you to do a hard reset using the stylus.
Anyway's I did that in the dark and accidentally pushed the stylus into the charger port on the phone and pushed a pin into another so It was short circuiting. Luckily I didn't damage the pins or the phone and was able to straighten it so it wasn't making contact with the other pins.
I'm happy again, its only really a test phone tbh, I have had a HTC Hero for some time now...
Best Regards,

Like most problems, it's due to the kernel. Even if the bugs get sorted out, there's still plenty of room for improvement.
Lets say the following is working 100%.
phone
GPS
3D
power management
wifi
bluetooth
USB
camera
etc
There's always a need for something. Like upgrading 3D to OpenGL ES 2.0, or getting support for ext3/ext4. That's a long way to go and very few people are willing to do it on their spare time.
In the most severe cases, people had to pool together a reward for someone to include support for something.
Considering how similar the Kaiser/Polaris/Vogue is, you could combine this group of people to get something done. There's a lot of talent, but it's spread far apart.
Hi to all, last night my desire ran out of battery and i' was nowhere near my charger cause i left it at my office.
i try to turn it on and send txt message but it was automaticaly turned off again before i can get to the homescreen.
without waiting too long i try to turn it on again and still i can't get to write a single letter cause it was automaticaly turned off itself again.
this morning when i get my hands on the charger i quickly plug the charger but the amber light aren't turning on, yes my desire wont turn on either, i try to connect it with adb and when i type adb devices the adb tool shows there are no devices connected.
Please help me how to turn my Desire on again, fyi i already plug the charger for more than half hour without any led on my phone lights on.
Anyone knows any workaround on this problem, maybe experiencing the same issue?
Thank's in advance
If you're using the stock battery which is Li-on, then the problem might be that you killed it by forcing the usage after the shutdown. Li-on batteries should NEVER be juiced out to a true 0%, or it will die. That's why the Desire turns off most of the time between 10-15% to make sure this doesn't happen. (Other mobile phones do this too, but they report it to you as 0% instead of the arbitrary 10-15%) I do hope so that this is not the case with your problem. Sorry if I only gave an explanation instead of a solution, but that's all I can think about right now.

try removing the battery and put it again. then plug the charge. wait for some time. hopefully it should fix it, else you need to try replacing your battery if it was not replaced recently.

Thank's a lot for your respond my friends
My friend help me by trying to manually (connect the - and the + terminal with his blackberry charger) charge my battery for about a minute and then quickly insert the batt and plug the charger.
The orange light lit again but it took about 7 hours to reach 100%, after i unplug, the batt went down faster than Rossi's motoGP bike
2 hours standby and it went off.
I thought it better be charged again with the phone off and so i did.
After about 20 min, my phone vibrates as if there were a call coming in (phone was off) so in a rush i quickly unplug the phone and took the batt off (i'm worried it will damage my phone)
Since then, the batt won't recharge AGAIN, the orange led aren't lit no more.
Sorry for those long letters, one more question, do you guys think i have to get new battery or should i try to do the charging again?
Thank's in advance

New battery is about £35.. dunno how much that is in Indonesia. I'd strongly recommend buying an original battery also, not a cheap knock off - bad ones can have very poor battery life, overheat, melt (even "explode" sometimes), and just in general kill your phone.
thank's a lot guys, will be lookin' for the genuine replacement today, tell ya the result later.
Thank's again for answering my worries
edit:
Ok guys, i got my genuine new battery which cost me around 24-26 Euro's
Test the battery at the store to show that it was charging and it was charging ok so i turn off the phone and go home.
Plug the charger as soon as i get home and the orange led didn't lit, to make the story short i presume that something is wrong with my phone, it drains the battery whether the phone was on or off!
Sending to the Collect Point for sure tonite after work.
Thank's a lot for you who read and answer my question.
Somehow my HTC One X (tegra 3) phone must have bricked itself overnight. It will not turn on and when I connect the charger lead the light does not come on.
Since the phone is still under warranty I take it to Phones 4u, the guy there reckons that it is a battery fault (which makes sense to me, given the circumstances). Anyway that was all last week, today I get a phone call from P4U saying that it's going to cost me £125 to repair it because it is not under warranty. They are claiming that the phone has been opened before and the VOID sticker is damaged as is a load of the shielding tape inside the phone. This came as quite a shock to me since I bought the phone "new" from them last year and it has never been opened in the time that I have had it.
My theory is that the phone has a fault that is going to cost a lot to repair so Phones4U (Would it have been sent to HTC?) have either claimed that the phone has been damaged or they have damaged it so they can thieve some money from me.
Anyway, back to the point, has anyone else had this issue if so does anyone know how to resolve it (or if that's feasible)?

hi there! first of all i want to apologize as my english is not perfect.
now the story, i have this problem for 3 months now. nothing helps to permanently fix this. it started one day, my battery runned out while i was surfing internet, phone switched off as it does normally. i did put in on charger (original) but no charging light came on, i checked it after few hours but no light where there, phone was dead! i didnt worry to much and just left it there over night to charge, but in the morning i found that red light is still not on, not charged and completely dead. i did every method metioned on any forum- holding buttons, pulling sim out combination nothing helped!!!! my HOX is rooted with custom rom and latest HBOOT version. i were so dissapointed that my warranty is void. then i decided to take phone apart, take battery out and measure its voltage with multimeter, so i did that and battery was 3.18v. so i cut USB lead and charged battery up to around 3.8v that was wery tricky to do as HOX's battery have odd connector, after that i did put every thing together and phone turned ON, i did charge it normally to 100% which measures 4.2v in APP. calibrated battery by deleting batterystats.bin file. next day battery went flat, and exactly same thing happened again. it must be something wrong happening when phone swithing off by it self, it does not switching off completely that causing it not reacting to butttons. SO i think if i put in freezer for 10-15min it will kill the battery and cut power to phones PCB (eq = battery pull) because any button combo is not = battery pool. so i wrapped it in cling film to prevent condinsation and kept phone in freezer for 15min. do not attack me with commets like "cold temp killing LI-ion battery for ever" i dont care i dont want to hear any of these stuff i did what knowing that, cuz there is no real solution to this problem! it is sounds like crazy! i know! im am russian so im used to do crazy stuff ) after i took it from freezer my HOX felt like ice.. hooked up charger and WOALIA!!! red light started to blink = battery to low to swith on. after half an hour red light came on persistant and my phone swithed ON without problems. after few weeks i replaced battery with other one but no joy! still same thing, i used to do this for months because sometimes i wasnt able monitor battery and turn phone off manually before it reaches 1% charge. I did not experienced any battery life shortening (at least i didnt spot any serious life drops) I SUSPECT THIS IS SOFTWARE RELATED PROBLEM, SO PLEASE IF ANY DEVELOPER OR ANY ONE WHO IS KNOWS WHAT EXACTLY CAN CAUSE THIS, PLEASE LOOK AT THIS CASE. IT MIGHT BE A SOLUTION OTHER THAN MINE!! cuz in the end it sux putting ur phone to freezer
NOW - solution! kind off..
when u did my methot if it worked for you of coure.. you need APP from Playstore - LLAMA location profiles. in LLAMA app you can create action based on event. se lets make event BATTERY under x% and create action for that - POWER OFF PHONE! set delay for 2min so u can stop ongoing event once u on charger and ur battery is less set %. I did set it for 5% and 2 min delay just to be on safe side. once battery reaches 5% charge action is created after 2 min, and phone turns off. dont try to power it ON!!! if u did by accident, just turn it off once it booted! dont ask me for help using LLAMA it is not complicated as it looks, play aroud with charged battery, experiment. u can add additional actions like play sound + screen on+ vibrate+ power off. if that helped u press thanks button as this text took me whole hour to type
AND PLEASE SOMEONE SORT THIS! AS HTC ONE X' PCB NEED TO BE CUT FROM POWER TO RESET AND START CHARGING. I DO THAT BY DEPLEATING BATTERY CHARGE WHRE PCB CUTS OFF POWER. SUB-ZERO TEMP DOES THAT TO BATTERY, BUT WE NEED REAL SOLUTION!!
thank you if read this til end

I am pleased that I haven't had to do this! I argued with Phones4U a little more and they have agreed to replace the device, I think that the repair job was far too expensive for them to justify doing it. Hopefully will have a shiny new One X (or One X+ if they have no stock) by the end of today!

Haha ended up with a Galaxy Note 2
Sent from my Galaxy Note II using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Hello,
I've tried to solve this on another thread but was instructed to make a new thread to get more visibility.
Last night I set the latest update to start 5am. I had about 50-70% battery and the phone was connected to nearly full 13000mAh power bank.
This morning when I woke up I was wondering why doesn't the power bank indicate any charging light so I picked my phone and it was dead. I clicked power bank and it started charging. So the thing what happened here was that the phone started updating and somehow rejected the charging current of the power bank which made the power bank to stop charging. After that the phone started updating firmware, drained all battery and got bricked.
You might ask why the hell would I use power bank when I update firmware? Well, it does automatically charge when I plug it in, so it should have stayed on all the time. It also provides enough power to charge the phone for more than 2 times, so I would consider it as being same as being charged from a regular charger, because its also as fast so has quite the same charging current. It is a mystery how did the phone reject charging current and how did not the power bank start recharging as fast as possible.
The problem
The phone is being bricked. I have charged it today about 3 hours with power bank, 1,5 hours with computer and now around 4-6 hours with regular charger. If I try to hold reset / power / volume- / volume+ / power & volume+ / power & volume- any of those for at least 10 seconds, nothing happens. Only thing that happens is the red led stops blinking and stays on red when I hold power. Sony companion wont recognize it. I accidentally tried to fix firmware which orders to hold vol- and then connect but it doesn't connect. The reason this was an accident is that I absolutely do not want to lose all my files, so I need to somehow get my firmware working again without losing pictures, videos or text messages (notes there) or voiding my warranty. So luckily I didn't manage to get the fix firmware to work cuz it should delete everything. Also pressing reset for 2 minutes does the same so I discard that option for now. The battery should be full by now, I have also tried changing the charger after I noticed I had 2 identical Sony chargers one charging power bank and another on this z5p and only that one charging power bank was hot and another one charging phone was maybe a little warm. After I changed them the situation became opposite.
Is there anything I could do to save my files and make this crap work again? It is quite frustrating now because the most important thing are my files, not even the overpriced phone (and I guess factory reset can get it work but thats the last option, I absolutely need those files:crying
PS. sorry for so long story.
sorry for the typos.
Now the charger is only a little warmer than room temperature, but still blinking red and not responding.

Hello,
I've tried to solve this on another thread but was instructed to make a new thread to get more visibility.
Last night I set the latest update to start 5am. I had about 50-70% battery and the phone was connected to nearly full 13000mAh powerbank.
This morning when I woke up I was wonderhing why doesn't the powerbank indicate any charging light so I picked my phone and it was dead. I clicked powerbank and it started charging. So the thing what happened here was that the phone started updating and somehow rejected the charging current of the powerbank which made the powerbank to stop charging. After that the phone started updating firmware, drained all battery and got bricked.
You might ask why the hell would I use powerbank when I update firmware? Well, it does automatically charge when I plug it in, so it should have stayed on all the time. It also provides enough power to charge the phone for more than 2 times, so I would consider it as being same as being charged from a regular charger, because its also as fast so has quite the same charging current. It is a mystery how did the phone reject charging current and how did not the powerbank start recharging as fast as possible.
The problem

From what I understanded before, I thought you charged 7 hours directly to an outlet, but you switched between powerbank, and pc too?
Well this is kind of my mistake because I said try connecting it to pc in between.
After reading this more detailed explanation, I would strongly suggest to just leave it charging directly to an outlet.
For atleast about 6-8 hours just as a first try to try to solve the issue (hopefully) without having to take more desperate measures lol.
So start with charging again, sorry for the misunderstanding.... it is partially or maybe mostly my fault :silly:

Thanks for still helping me out here
I'll leave it charging "from the wall". However power bank also provides high power and I'm worried about the charger temperature, so could it just charge it very very slow cuz no heat is building up. Anyways, it should have charged like 3 times by now but ill give it 10 hours now. Ill update here later what happens.
No problem, I kmow how it sucks to have a bricked phone.
I just did a quick research on XDA and found this thread: http://forum.xda-develaopers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
it is really alot to read... but if you want to have the best chance to unbrick your phone and hopefully still have all your files, I think you should read it before you take any other drastic actions.
I think this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33032165&postcount=2 is the most interesting for you
You will need flashtool to save your phone, but this doesn't automatically means you have to flash the full firmware (which will erase all files on the phones internal storage).
I know you are hesitant to use flashtool but at some point I think you have no other options sometimes.
BUT.... dont worry, MAYBE you are lucky and just flashing the kernel part of the firmware might fix your problem.
Im not going to add it here as I dont want to be the one to blame when accidentally providing the wrong file for your phone lol.
So I think you should read that guide and see what exactly applies to your issue, and then before you do anything just ask in that thread for help.
Start by telling you aren't even familiar with flashtool yetso they can help you faster. And let them help you to (if needed) correctly flash the correct kernel file to your device.
I think they can help you much better than me, because they have more knowledge,
and know better how to put all info it into context to make it understandable for people who aren't really familiar with al this.
Also it saves me alot more typework lol.
Ill still keep an eye to your thread to see if you manage to fix your brick and maybe answer (some questions) when I have time.
Better to just ask questions in the recovery thread, but who knows... if you post double and Iknow the answer, ithat would be luck and get you back into your phone faster hopefully
Enough writing for today..... your welcome :silly:
Good luck, be patient, and dont worry (like they also mention in the recovery guide)

Ok it has been charging for about 12 hours extra now, total 24h. Still blinking red. not connecting to PC, still reacting to hold power / hold power and hold vol - with continuous red. Reset wont do anything.

Copied from above linked thread:
YOU NEED TO RESET YOUR PHONE!
If your phone is soft-brick and does nothing when, -the buttons are pressed, -a charger is plugged in, -or if the screen is still ON then....
The memory chips need lose power to clear the bad data and reset the phone. Either by the battery going dead or by unplugging the battery.
You can to leave the phone on a charger to see when the battery dies. Usually the battery will not charge in a soft-brick state and will die while still plugged in. After the reset you should then get the red led. However if you get a red led immediately when first plugged in and no response but red led for a long time, then you may need to leave the phone unplugged and let the battery die.
Only after the chips reset will you get the red led. The RED LED should mean the phone is charging in 'low battery level charge mode'.
Once you get the red led, after the reset, do NOT try to turn on the phone. If you try to start the phone now without fixing the problem you will have to start all over.
So maybe if keeping it plugged for so long doesn't work, leaving it unplugged and wait for the battery to die will help?
Ask for more help in the thread I linked
Was bored @ school, so was looking for some more easy to follow info for you.
Have a look at this thread too, mainly im talking about just trying to see if flashtool can reccognize the phone and if not, read and follow the driver install section and see if that changes anything

Don't give up to easy man[emoji14]
I'm sure you can get your phone working again but you have to take the time to read threads and try everything you can
Okay. Let us know when you got it back from repair shop

Ok its ready to pick up from repair. They coudln't fix it. Lets take a look at those threads.
I don't know but I guess the service dude checked if the battery was dead? But still I'm thinking that it could be one possibility.

Hey
Im not very suprised they couldn't fix it.
I wonder though if they even did anything, so you should ask them about what they did.
Once you have your phone back, I would start with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19684920&postcount=2
If this doesn't help, you can proceed with the other threads I linked in earlier posts and give them a careful read
@XperiassinceZ1
Haven't heard in a while, I assume this means your phone is fixed or?
Was just curious lol.
