ExtROM Unlock Problem

I would like to unlock the Extended ROM in my MDA2 directly using the XDA_Developers_Unlocker.cab. After installation of this file i've tried to unlock that,but my device wrote me this message:

TECTION - A device
attached to the system is
not functioning.
Then if i go out to the Today screen, i see the message that the ExtROM is unlocked. But it is still not. Has any1 any ideas to solve this problem please?

I got the same error too when I ran the unlocked cab on verizon wireless's version on the blue angel. But I was able to get into the Extended_ROM however

this is my procedure
oke guys this is my step for unlocking extrom:
1. run the unhide - ok
2. run the unlock - ok
3. softreset
just do it that's step, now you can make your extrom

I don't think so. Doesn't help. :/

Guys I managed to get past this and got a unlock code, by using a different computer, I don't know why I was not able to using mine. I did disable, firewalls, anti virus etc.
However, when I put in a foreign sim. Qm not gettin that prompt to enter a unlock code. I stll get the white screen with the data crashes. I did do a hard rest, but still. I'm now using the stock tmobile rom 1.08 I still get that msg with my tmobile sim. Any help to fix this will be welcome. Thanx.

My spv m500 (orange) is currently locked. How do I unlock it?
I've tried the universal unlocker from this site but it didn't work.
Maybe I need a magician to unlock the magician

Thanks for the great site - I have unlocked an M500 bu when I place my O2 sim into m500 it accepts the pin but then posts 'network is locked - enter unlock code' - despite using unlock program previously - any ideas?

SPV Unlocking
hi guys, im a novice at this unlocking thing and i have followed the instructions to unlock th spv but trying to figure out where to put the unlock.exe file on the device to unlock it, pls help

I just got me a free M500 off a friend who no longer uses it so I am going to try this unlocker later today
I'll post back with what I did and if it worked or not

the tool at the start of this thread unlocked the SPV m500 in 1 minute
no problems at all
I placed a copy of the file in MY DOCUMENTS on the phone and used FILE EXPLORER to run it.
Now I need to work out why i can't see any of the contacts on the SIM card

I have a magician which was sim locked to T-Mobile.
Thanks to the tools offered, I was able to un-lock the phone and use it on O2 for 3 years.
I had a problem with the phone and had to re-install the ROM from the CD supplied by T-mobile. Upon doing so, the phone has locked itself to T-Mobile again and will not accept any other sim cards. I have tried O2, Vodafone and Orange.
The phone itself has now got Windows 6.1 by Cotulla, but as mentioned above, I can only use it on T-Mobile.
I have tried:
Lokiwiz (error message)
xdadev_all_unlock says the following:
xdadev_all_unlock started

xdadev_all_unlock started
device=HTC Magician
xdadev_all_unlock started
device=HTC Magician
could not find security key for device type HTC Magician
xdadev_all_unlock failed
xdaSimlock
xda2unlock-v2.2 (says "found all locks to be already unlocked!"
The device still won't allow me to use any other sim cards. T-Mobile will supply a code for £29.00 but it's not guaranteed to work.
I will be very grateful to anyone out there that can help please??

Excalibur Sim Unlock

In most cased I can find the unique 8-digits SIM unlockcode with the help of two files you must dump from your phone and email to me. Contact me by PM and I will make you a reasonable offer and send you my email address.
To produce the required files run "simlock.bat" from the attached zip file on your PC. There will be two files called docid.bin and simlock.bin in the subdirectory "1" on your PC.
If you have trouble running simlock.bat it is usually because the phone is not properly unlocked. In that case run the attached unlocker "SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe" on your PC. After running it you will be prompted to restart your phone.
MOD BREAK:
Do Not post your IMEI on the board.
Do Not post your EMAIL on the board.
READ the post above BEFORE acting.

Yes, you are right, The application unlocker in "simlock.bat" does not work on all models.
Will update it soon.
EDIT: Done, I've added SDA_ApplicationUnlocker in top post

Make sure you run simlock.bat on your PC.

My E600 Show error
Syncing from <dev:\simlock.bin> to <1>
Error: source patern does not match a file: \simlock.bin
Copy Failed
and dont'n have anyting in folder 1

i run the simlock.bat file from my pc. When i run the .bat:
- install two files into my s621
- The program create a folder named "1" with a file named "simlock.bin" in my pc
and doesn't make anything else.
If you have a way to run please tell me how to make it.

What have you do?
have you extract the zip and start the exe or have you start it from zip file?
PS: Yes, my blueangel has the bootloader version 2.07...
you can use the Hima or Harrier too

Started exe and after connecting i can open "devices" in flash/download.
(I first was curious and tried to open it directly via right-click/open which didn't work.)

For the bootloader i'm impatiently waiting for a Hima i bought some days ago which hasn't yet experienced any one of your or other updates or unlocks... will first test your tool before doing anything else.

Just arrived- MDA2, supposed to be broken, but it is just the battery which is down to zero, so the phone doesn't start charging. Replaced.

Download mode, started your HTC_Flasher but in second step instead of "checking information of your device ... please wait" just a white bar appears, static.
Software is original T-mobile. Is there anything i can do before i start unlocking and upgrading?
(btw- i first didn't get it right, thought your tool wouldn't only hack BL password, but bootloader itself.)

OK, you have a Hima with BL 1.03 so we need the password for it!!
Make this:
Download this program
and install it on your pc...
then start it and select the stuff shown on the picture in the menu ...
after that start an update for the hima with the original updater and you can see the password...
Then send it to me...

That's why i asked... often older versions get lost because of people always update to "newest" version. That's why i call 1.2 of my EF82 the lost one- 1.3 has been registered just 16 hrs later, but now everyone updates to it, though it's worse. will take a look at bootloader... Update- which one, T-mobile or can i take Aeroflyluby's?

The bootloader Version will not updated ... never! You can update a wm6.5 Rom Form arofly.

O.K. just wanted to be shure not to spoil it.
edit: checked my BAs... Harriers all have v1.02 (think yours won't be different), one MDA3 v2.05, second one, italian Qtek2020 and Siemens SX66 v2.07
If you need PW of one of those just tell me, and i'll do as with Hima (tomorrow or monday).

Negative- downloaded Flasher, unpacked it, Hima in bootloader mode, started Flasher
again gets hung in white bar
