what rom are you running? most roms these days are capable of getting b and g standards of 802.11
schaps 4.31 wwe full, stable and speed rom , but only wireless b , i have try crcinau rom and he have consist g (coping file with resco file explorer on mapped drive on my desktop PC (file size 100MB) speed is 300-400 KB. on schaps ROM speed is 80-100 KB (100MB file).

well you can make any ROM schaps look and feel, anyway according to this thread there is somewhere on wiki to mod this.
sorry borrow thread... i am using htc latest official rom, i cant seem to get the wifi connected... i am able to on it and connect to my ap but i cant access to internet... any way to solve this?

I experienced that on both Jasjam & TyTn with WM5.0 OS. It seems that I cannot get any fix but when flashed with WM6 it works and much better after I flashed with WM6.1.

Hey guys,
I know with the new official rom it takes away the 8525 ability to be used as a BT modem for my mac. Are there any wm6 roms that will allow me to use my mac as a bt modem? I am currently using the new lvsw's newest rom (awsome rom by the way) my mac will not recognize the phone as a modem.
Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

I have tested it with several and they always work. You simply activate the internet sharing, then select on your maching (Join Network on <Paired Name>. No problems.
Have tested on Black, LVSW, Elf, Sleuth, abnd prolly others.
Mmmm ok Ill give it a whirl again maybe I was doing something wrong.

Graytraveler, try .84, 90 did not work for me with a stock Tytn II, but 84 did. Or I used Dutty's latest ROM from Xda-developers.com and .92 worked fine with that.
Hchickers, you can try this:
1. Hard reset.
2. Change device ID, from Start -> Settings -> System -> About -> Device ID to HTC_P3450
3. Install a registry editor, such as Resco (www.resco-net.com) or Total Commander (www.ghisler.com, I use 2.5 beta 3). Then edit
HKLM\System\Versions\AKU key, change whatever in there (like .0.0.3) to .0.4.2
Then soft reset and install Blackberry Connect. This method worked for some people (they weren't using 750, but still). It might work for you as well.

even if this isn't any help for people getting started with BBC on there trins, all new BBC updates get posted there.
p.s. If u dont have bb service from your network before!!, then bbc will never work.
I'd tryed some ROM of D810 included official version.But all version have same problem that is miss internet mail box setting when reset or down.why?Maybe the WM6's problem?

Does it work when the Uni goes to sleep and then wakes up? And I mean goes to sleep for more than a few seconds (because for short sleep intervals it does not always happen)?

I assume that this is the standard TMobile ROM that you modified with SDHC drivers? Would you mind telling me what driver files did you modify? I want to take it to the PsiDOC's 3.3 Matrix ROM since the SD support there is not stable as well.

This ROM update three DLL files ,so u can run the cab file "htc_storage_settings_app.cab" successfully.
u can find SD*.dll when cook this rom and put into ur new cooked rom

I did manage to replace the bootsplash on my Uni, and it wasn't very hard. Wee!
However, I have downloaded a few cooking-packages, and I don't understand too much of how to make use of these. Too cryptical!

yes, i took notice of that universal WLAN is based on SDIO driver. This ROM replaced three "SD*.dll" files from wm6.1, so has this matter, wish somebody can resolve that finally.
Ah that explains it then.
Also internet will not work via GPRS. It connects fine but no traffic back and forth to the server. To me that says poched tcpip settings possibly connected to the busted WLAN

I´ve the same problem, i think this one is only made for G3 Devices and not for G4 (I have a G4).
It don´t start, if i make a hard reset after installation, it only starts Serialmode. Have anyone the same problem?

Freezes in between playin' songs.
Thanks a lot for posting this great ROM, works absolutely well with my 8G SDHC. Just a little bit of trouble, when it's playin' songs from WMP library, the sound stops, it starts buffering, and then it resumes after 10-15 seconds. It does that in between, after every 2-3 tracks.
My WMP library has 492 tracks, is that the reason, or someone else facin' the same issue ?

I experienced these before and I thought is MSN problem,
actually is your auto config software problem and I did try.
If u just formatted the rom, use USB or wifi it works...
I use mannual input data and works well.
Please test these again, let data try last thing.

Just installed many program and optimize it .... too bad, if there any other method rather than hard-rest ?
I already retry the auto-config in operator setting and manual enter the AP but it doesn't work

Guys, why is everyone talking about port splitter ...? I've NEVER used any 3rd party app to get GPS up and running
TT7, GARMIN, IGO8, GPSTUNER, Sygic McGUIDER - all worked on EVERY stock ROM I've had (DXHC4+), including ALL modded EFN ROM's.. and I've always used COM8, 4800 baud..

me too...never understood what's this about?
all i had to do is to update the COM port to COM8 in GPS setup.
ried to update the phone part only.. flashing kept hanging in 57%.. hmm hope I can flash my phone part again..

I did the same thing (update of the phone part only) successfully.
Phone Firmware version is now DXHH1,
PDA is DXHE1 (EF 3.4U)
May I ask why some ppl just want to upgrade the PDA section only but not whole part?

I flashed with EBOOT + PDA + PHONE and didn't found any problem.
BTW, the HARD RESET LOGO was coming back after flashed to HH1 comparing with HE1.
