Help me please!
i want install new rom on my diamond but when i install the HARD-SPL signed or unsigned on my diamond the screen is black and the connection with Activesync fall.. and the progress bar remainig on 0%
i try to start manual spl.exe from my diamond but i have the same problem...
please help me i had also hard reset the device but nothing yet
please please help me!!! i read on the forum but i don't see any solution for my problem

Place manualspl.exe on to the root of the diamond.Run it(your screen will go back! After this, you should run the hardspl.
After it is finished, you should be able to install any rom...

just leave it for a while.. it fails because your device is now in a bootloader mode.. let the RUU finish its job

Dropped?
Did you drop your device? The white screen from startup to fully booted usually is a sign of the LCD not being atttached properly. Usually, the system starts normally in the backgound while you still have a white screen.
1. Attach your device via the active sync and see if you can connect to the device.
2. If you can connect to it, Read my post here.

Old school fix.
thans but I maneage to solve it
what happened is that I formated the ROM when using WM5
I downgrade it back to WM2003 and formated the ROM to the right size
white screen, please hep
during charging suddenly my XDA IIs suddenly become white screen, but I can connect with Antisync.
Please help, how to solve this problem step by step.

Have you tried Opening it ? There is a PDF link here in the forums which gives your detailed instructions on how to safely dissassemble your Device. Search the forum for it and Ye shall find.
It may be that you dropped it or something happened that your LCD is not functioning properly. Open it up and make sure that all the connections are tight.

I don't know if the problems are the same
but, can you go into bootleader mode? (power + record and SR)
what happen if you soft reset the device?
was the device dropped?
try to use the device for incoming calls? does it works?
best for now

Never had the prob myself but there are dozens of posts asking the same question. check modmydiamond.com. I believe there is a FAQ answering your question.

have you done the hard reset after flashing?maybe not ryt> if you did try, reflash again...remember hard reset of wm 2003 is different on wm 5 above..

do you have full charge of battery before you start the upgrading?
i know that problem
i also had that problem and used to hard reset into bootoptions mode. after that i started via softreset
hope it helps
plzz help me guyz...i have downloaded the hardspl thing and ive run the ruu ...it showed that the upgrade is successful...my phone got reset in sometime...but it gets stuck in the screen alignment step..the screen alignment repeats itself....the phone doest start...plzz help guyz...i m in need of u ppl

I don't think you need to use MTTY to flash hard-spl only?
habriz: Try doing a hard reset and see if it still repeats.
Did you unlock your device before trying to flash hard-spl?

@ Joebi: he's saying that the unlock was successful! when he tryed to change for another rom, this stucks on the alignement screen, so i guess he has to format his phone with task 29, i was just trying to help him....
whatever, Habriz, when you're in bootloader mode (when the screen is in colorful stripes: red, green, blue, white) is it written somewhere: <<security unlocked>> and/or <<spl-1.93.olinex>> ? if it is, your phone is unlocked!

do a hard reset on the device after it reFlash with official rom for your device
first ensure that you flashed HSPL on your device or else sometime your wrong ROM takes you till the dustbin to throw your device.
after flashing HSPL choose one of the the ROM in this hermes section only for your hermes device. & then flash it & do hard reset ENJOY the new ROM.
