What's the fastest WM6.1 rom with least ram consumption ?

Hi,
What's the fastest WM6.1 rom with least ram consumption ?
I'm going to install my needs myself, best things, then you know what's in it.
Just need some info what the fastest ram is at the moment that consumes least ram ?

The best ROM as you need is YuE 4.4 Lite and ExtrClean ROMs. I am using the Lite one, cuz the EctraClean one keeps giving me the "Mismatch Size" error.
Still wondering why this site didn't mention these two ROMs at any time.
If any, I would like to have the other ExtraClean one fixed and offered here.

I agree with almozaffar, the best ROM is YuE 4.4 I am using the ExtraClean with more than 63 MB Free Storage Size.
almozaffar, to avoide "Mismatch Size" you have to falsh using SD-Card.

Where can I find these roms?

But I don't like black skin. Is YUI can change to Green Skin ?

this is how it works for me-sd card flashing:
run uspl first!!!

In this way windows read the SecureDigital as a fisical disk, so you can create, resize and delete partitions

6) Select Disk Manager and then delete existent partition
7) create a new partition with max size 256MB
8) format this partition in FAT32
Now your SD is ready to be used for flash!!!

I cant find a way to put the keypad in english. I've tried to change the registry (Locale), tried with diamond keys, tried using HTCustom. I've looked all around google, and tried many searches here in the forum, but could not find a way to change from russian keyboard to english. May anyone give me a tip please? I really liked this rom, but this keyboard issue is driving me nuts.

I have already try this ROM. I used another RUU wrapped to install the ROM. It's really stable compared with other manilla2d's ROM.
Some need to be fixed is :
1. You tube, can't launch this one
2. Landscape manilla2D?

tell me whether you can launch You Tube or not

Best way to load this ROM :
Switch off your phone. Enter into Bootloader mode by pressing power and ok buttons alongwith tapping softreset button simultaneously. Also uncheck "Disable USB Settings" in Active sync in connection settings. Connect your phone via usb cable and run Rom Update utility from downloaded rom files.
Thats it !

Simpler :
Take the RUU_signed.nhh file to a folder with a common from other roms RUUWrapper and run it as usual

just flashed it, everything works fine,,,except phone cant find the network,,,tried connection setup and reflashed rom with another ruu wrapper. still not working...any solution for this...my carrier is tmobile us. sorry for my bad english.

"PhamQuang" is the password

This rom doesnt allow a successful activesync connection in xp or vista. in both, the usb device is unrecognized. Also, for whatever reason I have difficulty with my phone radio now. I can't seem to get a reliable signal. i would recommend looking elsewhere because this rom is buggy right now.

Bàn phím Ezinput, it's not working. Click on it, it just turn off the screen. Slide the keyboard, nothing happen...

seems like the clock is only set to 24 hours. Tried changing it in the settings but no luck?

It sounds like you might be having some sort of hardware or button issues.
I don't know if it would help to do a hard reset or not. Make sure you back up your contacts and stuff first, or they will all be gone! You can hold both "softkey buttons" the buttons above the windows and ok buttons and hit reset, or go into system settings and run clear storage. But again, I'm not sure if that would help.
Or if your running a custom rom, you can try flashing your operators stock rom, or one of the at&t ones in my signature.
But if the buttons are going crazy, I'm still leaning towards something going on with some of the keys, or possibly even the hardware keyboard.
Has the phone been dropped? I have been reading some things about the ribbon cable coming undone or going bad that can cause odd issues.
Maybe someone else has experienced this, and can chime in?

You could try going to start>settings>system>clear storage
that is the equivalent to a hard reset.
or see if you can remove the software for the accessory.

It sounds like your buttons are dead
I've never had one of our phones apart yet, maybe somebody else here could point you in the right direction for instructions or direct you towards someone that could repair it.
I'm sorry that I can't help you beyond this.

I noticed
is that all the buttons in the front does not work, just the buttons of directions and ok works.
Now I want to know how to downgrade please, to get back to original rom / radio / spl and bootloader possible!

Follow the link I gave above for WM5, then pick the one for your language and flash, just like the others.

that is what I do,
I run normally my ROM and after gives me Error 260 no answer the phone!
for info I have :
HERM200
IPL-1.04
HERM200
SPL-2.10.olipro

Maybe make sure both computer and phone are rebooted, then make sure activesync is connected to the phone. It needs to send commands to the phone.
If that doesn't work, I may be able to strip the rom down so it could be flashed via sd card. Just let me know, but to flash via sd card, it must be formatted fat32, and be 2 gig or less.

ROM doesn't need to be "stripped down"... Just format sd card FAT32 and copy .nbh file of ROM onto card, Rename to hermimg.nbh. Re-insert sd card into hermes and go to bootloader. If everything is right, follow the promps.
As boog321 said, It must be a 2Gb or less sd card.

I was thinking if it is like the at&t rom, it would need to be stripped then compiled back into a .nbh. Since it comes as an .exe

Sounds to me like it's a D-Pad problem, rather than a ROM problem.
Have u experienced any white-screen problems.
There is a thread dedicated to D-Pad problems, just search XDA.
I have repaired several TYTN 1s with either D-PAD or WSOD problems using the instructions gathered on this forum.

Nope, just unrar the .exe file and you'll see the .nbh file. You should download a stripped ROM from here though, has radio removed...

Your, right, I had a huge brain fart! I was thinking of when I was playing with stripping the radio on my own. But, it had been so many beers ago!
Only difference is, that I use 7zip to extract it

Hi guys, i will be needing some assistance to understand what is happening with my jasjar.
I download a tomal´s rom (tml wm65_90_23004_64mb)), followed the steps and got stucked on bootloader. I then used Uni exit bootloader. It worked, but now my jasjar only works if I don´t put any sim-card. Cause if I put one, it gets stuck again
Any ideas? i noticed in the device info that extrom is not there.

Something is not right here. Like i tried to reflash it again, and same happens it works without the simcard but not with him
its very odd actually... like i managed to do it like once with simcard on but after that its the same... it got stuck again

And what happens if you try with another sim?

well try to upgrade your radio rom if gsm is not working (if sim is not recognized). flash with another rom if device gets stuck

well extrom is there but it is locked... you need to unlock to see it....

Hi Rajiv, thanks for answering. Well my simcards work properly as i have tested them in other devices.
I flashed the Universal with an original wm5 rom now and it works well. So any ideas on what happened?
I flashed with Tomal wm65 rom and it only works without any simcard, otherwise it gets stucked in that first imate image. If i remove the simcard it works fine. (The rom is very cool by the way).
So what is the problem here? maybe my jasjar isn´t CID unlocled? or HSPL?

had this issue myself and that was the fix. my radio was the original factory one. not sure what yours is though.

Well it starts the update normally, everything goes well. But its the same as before, it will only work properly without a simcard on

You need to upgrade your Radio ROM.
The one you have probably is not not compatible with WM6 and thats why your device hangs after installing WM6 with a SIM inserted.
The SIM upgrade is not included in the firmware upgrades you will find here. Look at the wiki for separate SIM upgrade files.

Problem solved :=) thanks everyone! I updated the radio rom to version 1.18 and it worked ehehe

Now another little problem
After installing tomal's 6.5 rom and updating the radio rom to 1.18, now i can´t instal programs like opera mini. Any ideas why? or the solution?

I have the same ROM and radio and I can install any app I want
Have you tried a hard reset?

Opera Mini is a Java application. You need to install a Java Virtual Machine to be able to install and run Opera Mini.

Where do we find this "foxconn rom tool"? Oh, and shouldn't the memory card be formatted FAT-32 instead of FAT-16?

Download file, extract, you will get hpimage.bin and bldiag.nb0. you need now sd card, it cant be bigger than 2GB, becouse bootloader doesnt support more, format it to fat16, insert into your device, press and hold calendar and windows keys, and next press reset button, after it will reboot flashing proces will start.

210 doesn't work too. Haven't heard it to be working on any of ipaq 21x series :/ as none of the people have written about a sucsessfull upgrade.
There is still something missing in this update

it's important is which SD card use!!!
for me not work with SanDisk ultraII 2gb SD card
but with microSD in SD adapter working
press Calendar + Start button together then press reset and hold 5 sec
release reset

I read on the Brighthand threads that the ROMs aren't working, and if it's a problem with the IMGFSs I gave you I'd be more than happy to upload the dumps(or OEM and SYS folders) for you or someone else to try and make working ones.

I can figure it out. Has anyone tested this on a HP ipaq 111 (or equivalent) rom.

What does 6.1 and 6.5 give you over 6.0?

Honestly? Not-crappy drivers, primarily. Also better UI. There are lots of fixes to both versions, like ZERO CF drain, faster loading and processing in general, less space used, things of the like. So very worth it. This baby is one of the best equipped PDAs on the market, so it should also be one of the fastest. Now it's finally getting there. Great news, i say. Good luck!

Be interested in testing new versions of WM6.1 and WM6.5.
I wonder if it is possible to return to the original version installed on the IPQ 214.
I have an Ipaq 214 Enterprise Handeheld in Spanish.
As would be the procedure for a downgrade and a backup copy of the original ROM.
