This is not a "cooked rom" but simply the "original rom WWE" without ExtendedRom.

I thaught this was based on Toms Rom... its just the original not usefull...

That way if needed can filter and use only the necessary cabs- as some of them may be important...Anyone has an idea what the EXtended rom files do? like a breakup of each cab and what they are installing?
a Clean Rom is definitely usefull...Also was this extracted from the HTC Rom or from any other?

I've been using this rom for a few days now and have found it very good.
A bit more space, very stable, no memory errors with tom tom and good battery life.
Would recommend for people who want something without all the bells and whistles or as a clean base to customise.

please provide more details - what are the programs installed on it? Can someone post the screenshots of the program folder?
From which ROM was this extracted the HTC Dopod asia? or any other like Bepe, PDAViet?
GPS working? what about Wifi? any issues?
Lastly, please please please give screenshots or even a list of the programs installed? I am more interested to know if it contains the Acrobat reader or other software - like Clearvue - which I do not need or use.

Wasn't the memory issue a result of having no Extended Rom? Because my understanding is that this rom doesn't have one so it simply leaves the existing one in place (even if it is empty) meaning no memory issues?
Also, could someone host it somewhere other than online storage as the work's web scanner blocks those and I really wanna give this rom a try to see if I can use it for my next rom?

You mean the FM radio? It's an useful app, why to remove it?

I´d like to do something similar to the Spanish WM6 ROM recently released by HTC, iot to get more free memory in my device. I´d like to strip progries/features without including anything else. (i prefer installing cabs from SD than from ROM/extROM)
although there are tons of posts about cooking,
would you be so kind to write a concise guide, only for stripping?

I've changed the poolsize too.
When you start to make your builded OS.nb file there you can exclude the extrom part.
In HTC rom tool of Dark Simpson just go for System part.

You must remove thinks from both folders.
Most the exe files can be found in oem\oemapps
Most of the modules can be found in sys folder

I just got my artemis and want to install the smallest and quickest ROM thats the least battery consuming.
As i read and search this awesome forum i found that it might be the:
YuE_WM6.1_v4.4_LiteSE_WWE
but apperently there is supposed to be a
"Extraclean" version thats even smaller?
But this one i cant find anywhere to download. is there a "extraclean" and is it in english? (or so that i can change it to english after the installation or something like that)
are there any compability problems with any applications i might wanna install on the artemis later on these what i understand stripped small ROM´s?
All i wanna have working when i install it is a gps navigator appl. (route66 to avoid gprs fees.)
and VITO´s Winterface, TCPMP, MORTPLAYER and Resco keyboard.

If Resco Keyboard is installed, will that not be installed as an English keyboard? Im not too sure as all my ROM's have been WWE.

No it is possible to install other language keyboard.
But I have problem with this image, installator says, it is corrupted.

found this on another thread regarding the extraclean:
"YuE 4.4 ExtraClean: to avoide "Mismatch Size" you have to flash using SD-Card."
is this the error u guys who tried gets?
cause if its indeed corrupt then it would be nice to know
but if it works after flashing with SD-card, could someone confirm it? would be great with feedback

This cab changes the language of the keyboard to english

Tried through SD flashing and success. Follow wiki.
Free Flash 63,14MB (with pocket controller and ALL_ENG_SIP.cab keyboard, without over 65MB).
Free RAM 24,13 (with running active sync and pocket controller, without over 26MB).
After installing ALL_ENG_SIP.cab russian keyboard definitely dissapear, but at dialpad
and at contact order bar stays russian symbols.

Tell me one thing.
Why do you want this ROM if you have availlable one of the best clean ROM of that kind arround. The Artemis touch vanilla 4.02 has 55mb total storage memory and 27mb free program memory and is stable, fast and very clean.
Is that only for the 12 meg of storage diference?

hi,
i am trying to flash my device using SD card but when i follow the instructions in Wiki i cannot do it. I am pressing the record button down and pressing the RESET button as explained. And suddenly i can see a white screen with "searching for sd card" message then it switches to the 4 coloured screen which indicates the version information and it freezes as it is. I had doubt about my sd card but when i turn on the device i can see there is no problem with it.
Would you please suggest how can i flash my device with SD card ?
Or would you please tell the best way to learn how to upgrade my device with a ROM.

Kavana's previous ROMs are very stable. Hopefully this one too. I'm not sure if it can switch between Chinese and English. It seems this version striped clean most 3rd party programs.

good find qaplus. Has anyone tried this ? Is it any good ? English or Chinese? Downloading is a challenge because of the chinese language links....

registered on the rayfile or whatever the f they call it and its a joke, need to download stuff to get the file...no thanks! So far I have been unsucessful in even getting close to getting the file. The one link provided in one of qualpus' links is a 3gp file that is 24mb, I dont know how that could be a rom

开机运存25M左右吧..
他也有个去年更新的版本..

I can't download the ROM either. The download link works weird.
In the original post some users said it has both english and chinese interface.
It looks like the most change is the new kernel to improve performance. And free program ram is about 70M because 3rd party apps are removed.

The Chinese and English ROM will do .. However, there is sometimes less than Bluetooth BUG ... .. others also visit ..
Yun Cun 25M boot around it ..
He also has a newer version of last year ..

This ROM supports both Chinese and English interface. But it seems to have some bugs... bluetooth has problem sometimes.. others seems fine.

This is the new FREE music ID software from Samsung Omnia ported to be work on any PPC.
I have found another ported version on another forum, but there you have to use WIFI as the network. But I hope you don't have WIFI in the places where you wonna recognize a new song as in your car or club....
So I modded the software to use GPRS/3G network.
In addition on other version I found it installs to the main memory, but you can install my version on your SD/Internal Memory/Device as you wish.
This software is FAST, Looks cool and FREE compaired to the alternative available.

Tested intensively on my own diamond. Are you using WIFI (or something other than packet data) for internet?

I found that I could only get the other version working on my Diamond2 over WiFi. On GPRS/3G/HSPA it simply returned with a "Network Error" message.

Error was when I prompted for Lyrics or Youtube... Anyone know how to fix that? Playing a sample worked though!

I fixed the data connection setting in the original installation package, you can get it here. No need to mess with registry or patches after install.

2. the whole 4.5MB software essentially installs under WINDOWS folder in others.
Because I like installing in one shot and each MB is precious for me, hope the others would feel the same way too.

but only you changed the name “Samsung Midomi” in “shiranmotha Midomi”, and you want donation for this?
For me is irritating the donation request from you, for this software made by somebody else.

Bottom line all I want to know, I will not get charged for using this correct? Free to download, yes. But charges on my bill are not.
