Hi All,
Just bought XDA Orbit from ebay, everything works great except I can't send/receive data using Bluetooth. It will allow me to pair with devices, but when I try to send or receive anything then it just says “Failed” Can someone please suggest anything, i've tried a hard reset but still the same.
Thanks in advance.

"Receive all incoming beams" needs to be selected!
I don't know what Microsoft were smoking when they thought that up

Hi. I need help badly. I recently bought an XDa2s - which i later on returned because of a financial dispute (another problem/story!). But before this, i had an XDA2.
Since I had used the cd's that came with the XDA2s on the same PC that I was using the XDA2 on, when i tried to sync my XDA2, it picked up some of these files. I stupidly went on to sync, and now when i recieve/make a call, there is no sound on the phone.
It can make/receive calls, but when the other party picks the phone, they cant hear me and i cant hear them.
I then tried to 'upgrade' the ROM using the files on the O2 website, but I encoutered errors during the process. It shows that my ROM is now 1.72WWE but the other programs like fonetik and zip and MMs cant load, and the phone problem still exists.
Please help. Am so desperate!
Solved
All XDA lovers, I found out what was wrong with my XDA2.
It is after all not a software problem, but hardware.
When using the headpiece - which is a pain, it works just fine!
Thank you all for the mutual support!
I am new here. I already seached, but I did not find the right answer. Here my Problem: When I try to start Bluetooth I always get the message that there is not enough memory to start. It always happens when I first started wirless. Does anyone know, how to solve this Problem? Please help!!! By the way, I also have installed MS Voice Command.

IMHO rom upgrade will solve this
Hi Explode,
I really would like to make an rom upgrade, but I think there is no rom upgrade at the Vodafone Site.
I played araound a little bit and found out, that it has something to do with wireless. When I activate wireless without connecting to the Internet to catch my emails, everything is OK. I can activate BT. After I have connected to the Internet and try to start BT I get this message.
Any idea?
Thanks
Peter
howdy folks
thanks for the great site.
ive had my BA for over a year...despite the occassional hangup it works fairly well. however all of a sudden when i try to make an outgoing call other than to my voicemail i get 3 beeps and the call is then ended. the weird thing is that this doesnt happen all of the time and with no apparent pattern.
i cant understand why this is happening as i havenet changed any of the software / network.
please help me !! i'm very tempted to see how many pieces i can break it into with one throw.

That is the behaviour of a network barred handset.
Richard
hey thanks for the reply
however there is no reason for my phone to be network barred ! i bought the phone while on the o2 network, had it unlocked and have been on vodafone for over a year with it working fine. i understand if it was barred it would block all my calls (maybe except vmail). thing is the 3 beeps i get are intermittant and dont happen with every call.
do you think it could be something to do with changes to vodafone and the way the xda works with vodafone. i'm not a techie person, but even this reason sounds unlikely to me.
any further ideas would be appreciated
many thanks
ramir
oh yeah...forgot to mention...i've had the phone since new and am the 1st and only owner of it
i get this sometimes also... and i think mine has to do with wm5, but im not for sure....
ok but i'm running WM2003se
is there anything that you do to your mobile to get it to dial out?
does anyone think that a rom upgrade or a radio upgrade may solve my problem?
Please advice,
I recently tried to unlock the o2 xda 2s with the software found in this site, after which I was able to use a T mobiel chip and it was working fine, but now i am unalbe to make calls from a vodafone chip, but it can send and recieve messages. any idea what is happeing with this............
Maybe somebody can help and answer a very strange situation i have going on!
I have the HTC One X and today I installed a SIP account on the phone to start internetcalling. With my WIFI turned on at home i can't receive calls on my sip phonenumber but if my WIFI is turned of it works perfectly and receives calls without problems!
There is no problem with my ports or anything else regarding the number itself. The number works perfectly on my ipad or other sip devices.
I am almost sure this is a setting problem which i cannot find.
Somebody any clues?
Thanks in advance!
