I've posted it before and posting it again.. The screen on my MDA III cracked somehow.. anyway not finding any replacement parts anywhere i called t-mobile (uk) and they had no clue what to do.. after i called a few times they gave me a number.. (HTC Europe).
After sending my phone in for "inspection" (note: i specified BT problems, screen hissing noise and mic problems aswell) i was told i had to pay for a new screen.
After sending them a cheque of £105.75 (90 + vat) or about 195 US dollars, I was told i had to wait for some time for it to clear..
That took 2 weeks. When it got cleared they told me "its being repaired.. it should be tested tomorrow and after is final testing you'll get it back". This was on a monday.. "u should have it by wednesday".. I called again on tuesday to check.. "u should have it by the end of the week.." then "early next week". this went on for 2 weeks!
Called up again today (monday) ..i was told that the motherboard aint compatible with the screen and they have to replace it. We usually fix orange ones.. not t-mobile he said!!!!?!?!?! what the hell? parts are different? We'll change it tomorrow and u should have it by wednesday...
(year right)
Anyway..
So they'll be changing the motherboard (unless its a cheap excuse to buy some time) to change the screen. The IMEI should be different then shouldnt it?
I've been without my phone now for 5 weeks and im utterly pissed off.
The only thing i hope is when (EVENTUALLY) i'll get my phone back, it will have a fixed microphone so ppl can hear me.. latest rom on (which t-mobile is doing nothing about) BT that works and a screen that doesnt hiss when on (even better if it aint got yellow hue). If its UNLOCKED it would ease off the anger!
Im asking everyone to place their bets, that in about a month when im estimating to get my phone back that nothing will be changed. They told me the whole LCD will be changed AND the motherboard.
Options are :
1. Only the touchscreen is changed
2. The whole touchscreen and lcd is changed
3. LCD and Mobo are changed
4. 3 with software updates and patches
5. 4 and unlocked
6. Send me another one with all the original problems (with a softer keyboard with a huge gap)
7. Send me my money back saying we cant fix it
Place your bets now
Come on Jimp!!! Where's the official odds for these bets
Anyway, I'll stick £20 GBP on secret option...
2a. - LCD/touch screen changed with updates but original m/board (sorry, can't help thinking they're fobbing you off to get more time and save on warranty shipping costs)
Then I want £30 GBP on another secret option...
4a. - 3 with Release ROM and bluetooth patch, badged as "NEW" ROM, neither of which fix any of your previous issues.
Let me know how you get on.
Dom
as expected..
still nothing as they are giving lame excuses again to delay.
couple more days.. and if they wont do anything im complaining to my phone company.
I was assured today that my phone will b fixed tomorrow definetely and i should have it by friday.. Even tho i heard that loads of times im quite hopeful..
I also asked if the whole lcd will be changed and the mobo and they said yes... the touchscreen AND the lcd is one unit and we will replace it along with the mobo.
I told him if the serial number would change since the mobo is different , he said the serial will stay the same but the IMEI will change...
Hmm. I thought the SN was calculated with the IMEI and vice versa. Oh well ... We shall wait and see
So...... two questions now
The first one is:
What was the outcome of this bet
The second:
I have the same problem with my 9090. Can you please give me the telephone number of HTC Europe?
Kind regards,
-Bastian
outcome
The outcome was after waiting for 2 months(!!!!) i was told i would be getting my phone back with a new screen and a new motherboard.. Thats their lame way of saying heres a new phone and we struggled fixing it..
They gave me a new phone(after i paid 110 quid uk) with a fixed screen.. but with a loose keyboard.

O2 XDA cracked LCD
Hi jimp,
Man, what a pain!
Thanks for posting HTC Europe's address, would you know if they have an e-mail address.
I'm located in California and have the same problem with my O2 XDA IIs and have had no luck with trying to find a replacement LCD.
Also, how did you track your device, did the give you an RMA prior to sending in your unit?
Thanks

Check out PocketPC Techs in southern California; they might do LCD replacements.
they gave me an rma ye..
The address is only for EU customers.
HTC must have a US support.
Better off going with pocket pc tech for screen replacement tho
Thanks for the info jimp.
Unfortunatelly there is no HTC support in the US that I have found. I'm also trying to work with PocketPC techs but they are not sure that they have the correct LCD for the O2 XDA IIs. They and another company PDASmart.com need an LCD part number to verify. Apparently, according to them, HTC changed the LCD model in their later productions.
Thanks again.
This sounds totally wild.
I can not belive that who ever import the BA to your country, does not have several repair shops around the country.
There are many Phone/PDA repair shops around, and importers normally have agrements with them.
I had mine fixed here in Norway.
Just drove in and delivered it, and without a receipt. (They just check the IMEI)
Drove back 3 days later, yep all done and ready.
It's not just wild, It sucks!!! :x
If I can not fix my XDA, it's going to suck even more. Worse is that I really liked the device. It was perfect for my work and play (as most of you that have them know), but I'm not sure that I would buy another one because of the lack of support and the cost.
The XDA IIs is not exported to the US via normal channels so there is NO support for it. There are a some service providers that have the Himalaya , but not the Blue Angel (yet anyway) availabel to US consumers. After weeks of contacting O2 in Europe and Asia to purchase one they pretty much told me to go away (in a very poplite manner that is). So I bought a used one (like new condition) from a private party on e-bay and he faxed me his original receipt from the vendor he bough it from in December. When I contacted the vendor, they did not even want to deal with me becasue I was not the original owner.
Hi all
I've been using a pda for the past four years, currently use HP IPAQ 5550 with bluetooth and wifi etc. Separately I've got a Orange 3G phone. I am tempted to go for the Blue Angel with the keyboard, sold in the UK on O2 and T-Mobile, so that I've got a connected device, without having to apir the phone with the pda.
I understand the devices are the same, so is O2 any better than T-Mobile in terms of mobile data, gprs, etc? Or in terms of support? Restrictionjs re internet, off- walled garden browsing? Or in terms of upgrading to WM2005? I know that T-Mobile will eventually offer affordable data bunddles under the web'n'walk concept (in september), which may attract me to TMob.
Also, does any of the network prevent you from downloading additional softwares, such as avantgo, pocket informant, etc? I read that the sim lock -on orange pda devices?- prevented downloads of softwares by so-called non-approved third parties.
Is there anything I should know before choosing one or the other networks?
Thanks for your help.
there isnt much difference within the different providers of a blue angel. they are the same apart from there networks minor tweeks, software etc. the o2 rom is****, i not sure about the orange or t-mobile one tho....
Go with whoever is cheapest
Just buy whoever is cheapest overall for you. Coverage across the UK is roughly the same (ie whoever you get it will work everywhere *but* your house ) and the phones are the same too. T-Mobile doesn't install a lot of crap, but I highly recommend upgrading the ROM anyway (although it takes a while to get your head around it, if you're as retarded as me). If it goes to hell you can put the old ROM back again.
I *have* read bad things about O2 on these boards; I got hit with the noise problem (have a search for it), but after my 7 days courier return (still in my 28 days store return). I phoned them up, told them what was wrong and that the nearest T-Mobile store was 50 miles away, and they dispatched a courier anyway. O2 told the guy who had the same problem as me that he dropped it and charged him 150+ quid to get it fixed. That's a load of rubbish, and I bet they know it too.
All mobile phone operators are greedy, but only some of them are charlatans as well.
T-Mobile will also give you the MDA III for 80 quid if you sign up for 18 months at 30 quid a month (you can drop the price plan down afterwards if you like). Last I saw, O2 and Orange wanted 250 per handset.
Personally, I prefer Orange because at least you can talk to a real human being easily. T-Mobile make it difficult, but I'd rather save £170

Going to get the O2 XDA 2i tomorrow morning at O2 shop....hopefully can get it at £60 with £35 12 months contract. The cheapest I saw on internet is £69.90 with £35 12 months contract.
Will anyone of you feeling regret after you bought the XDA 2i?
The XDA IIi appears to be a better specced machine all round; with less chance of a keyboard to get loose...
If I'd known of that deal (I bought my phone online, but the O2 store didn't work and the other dealers like Carphone Warehouse didn't stock it), I would have gone with that
Chris
Thanks
Lewisham and Joey
Thanks a lot.
Is there an application lock on any of these devices? I guess all of them are sim-locked anyway...
Cheers
The SIM lock can be removed with an application on these forums, so that also answers no to app lock

Hi, been lurking for some time now and about to buy one of these units.... quick question though - how long did you have to wait before you where allowed to drop your contract down ?

Ok...so which one again ?
So let's say...an enterprising individual happened to acquire both an
Orange SPV M2000
AND AN
O2 XDA IIs
both in identical condition ( New ), which one would you recommend this individual keep, and which one should he sell. An inquiring individual would like to know.

It's the same phone.

If both cheapest; Orange has better customer service.

No, you can't do that. Your contract is fixed length. All you can change is the price plan you pay.
At least, I don't think you can. I might well ask them tomorrow.

I was speaking from the stand point that I ALREADY have both of them, new, and I can only keep both. They're NOT under contract. Which in people's opinion makes the better "keeper".

Yeah, you can drop to say a 15 quid a month price plan, but AFAIK, the length cannot be changed, because of the way they calculate the subsidy of the phone. But I will try tomorrow.

Well they are the same phone aren't they? It's like saying I have a Sony Ericsson P900 from Orange, and a Sony Ericsson P900 from O2. Which do I keep? The one you haven't beat up the most? The one that looks prettiest after they put the operator badge on it?

Not really, but I hear what you're saying. I wasn't thinking of "stylistics". Apparently their construction isn't all the same, the quality control in building them apparently hasn't been the same, and the software packages built-in, certainly aren't the same. I was talking about all those in the process of deciding. Not just because one is black and other is bronze-ish silver.
The build construction is the same; the hardware is identical, all that changes is the software preloaded.
But I would highly recommend installing 1.40, so the software is going to become whatever ROM you put on it, so it really does end up coming down to the hardware, and all that changes is the aesthetics.
Keep them both, and run them for a little bit. See if either develops the whistling screen.

Hi All, New member and new to PDA's....
I have just order my T-Mobile MDA III on an 18mth contract with 100 txt for £33/mth - 1/2 price line rental for 6mths?? They said that if I do not change tariff or upgrade, the 1/2 price line would be for life! after 18mths is complete.
They are out of stock at the minute, so will be waiting with bated breath!
Orange UK seem to be doing what they are best at.
Every time I speak to someone from Orange (once a week for the last 6 weeks) to find out if the Touch Pro 2 has been released I get a different answer.
Back on the 26th May I spoke to someone who had a look and said that the phone was still on the "coming soon" list. He had a look else where and found that the phone was listed to be first released as a SBC (Small Business Customer) phone and then a little later for none business users. He had no date but said it should be early to mid June.
Yesterday I was told there is still no date, but it should be released mid to late June. The guy at orange started to explain how to go about through a 3rd party to get the upgrade but then I lost my signal. I rang back and was then told that the phone would definatly not be out with in the next 4 weeks.
Today I rang up and was told that there is no date listed, but the phone is still just "coming soon". I said about the person from yesturday, but the lady has no idea why I was told a definate no for the next 4 weeks as it could come out tomorrow, 2 weeks, 4 weeks or not at all. I also asked about the phone first being available to business customers and was told that there is no mention about the phone being a business phone and the release would be wide spread across the whole of orange UK. The lady has also put me on a ring back service, will check daily to see if the phone had been released and let me know if it has... While I have no reason to dis-believe this, I dont hold much hope.
I have rang around, but cant find a phone dealer that can do an upgrade for me with the Touch Pro 2
Little to say, I am getting a bit tired of all the different answers I get.
When I got my Tytn 2 from orange it was only listed as a business phone and I think the Touch Pro 2 will probably be the same way
Does any one here have any more information or shed any light on the release of the phone as an orange branded handset, be it for business or none business use.
Firstly I'll say that their ring-back service worked for me. This was back when the TyTN2 was released. They sent me a text on the day it became available telling me to call them, which I did instantly. The next day I had the phone in my hands. So have some faith.
However, the wait may be long, or short.
I used to be on Orange (having been a VERY loyal, high spending customer) for many years, but I have since become very cheesed off with their outdated tariffs and delays bringing phones to the market.
I have now switched to Vodafone, and while I don't get anywhere near as good signal strength, they provide a decent enough service for me.
I am sad I had to move away from orange, but it's too little too late.
See, I like Orange's service and the service plan I am on is very good value for money and they consider me somewhat of a 'loyal customer'.
I am in exactly the same boat as you, I've been speaking to different people and it's gone from 'within 2 weeks' (this was mid may I was told this) to the phone not being listed on the system, to the Diamond2 being released?
It seems the HD is out of stock and I had been told that it was being discontinued and replaced by another handset. Some reps have told me that it was Touch Pro2 and some have told me they do not know.
I've just been emailing Orange (they have this irritating habit where you hit the reply button and a different person replies) all of them told me it was only going to be released on Business, but like another person in this thread I also have a TyTn II on a personal account.
This morning the Touch HD was taken off the website! So I'm going to keep playing it from the angle of 'What phone is going to replace the HD on the personal account' and 'I want a Windows Mobile phone with a keyboard because I can't stand purely touch screen phones!
I really really want to keep my contract and just get an Orange branded Pro2
Just spoke to them on the phone about the HD disappearing off the website. Apparently they're looking at replacing it with the Touch Diamond2 and when I said does that have a keyboard? He said no it doesn't but the Touch Pro2 does (in a hesistant voice).
I went on to ask whether that would be available for me to upgrade to as a personal user and he said yes it should be, but there is no indication of price yet as it's too early on.
I'm sure the next person I speak too, will tell me otherwise...
The Orange tariffs seem to suit me quite well... There might be a better tariff for me somewhere, but at the moment my monthly bill only usually differs pennies each month and i can really hammer the phone some months.
When I asked about the upgrade price about a month I go I was told that I would probably get the phone for free being that I am a long time loyal high value none business customer (have been on one of the top tariffs now for 6 or 7 years).
Infact when I got the tytn2 (which was only available for business customers at the time), Orange actually credited my account with £100 for me to stay and take the the phone off their hands.
I guess only time will tell with the rhodium
I just wish that Orange would be a bit quicker at releasing new phones.
Out of interest, I wonder if Orange list the rhodium as having an inbuilt GPS receiver. Orange seem to insist that the rhodium does not have a GPS, although it does have an FM radio :S Come to think about it, they also insisted that the tytn2 didnt have a GPS either when I upgraded to that
I got another response today from someone that seemed a bit more human.
Hello
Thank you for your email into the Orange shop.
I have checked the website and we have 2 HTC phones on sale.
We have the HTC Touch 3G and the HTC Touch Diamond(tm)
http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/all
We also have the HTC Touch Pro 2 in review at the moment. Fingers crossed
this one will make the cut as it's a brilliant phone.

I'm reckoning I might get it for free, although I haven't been as long term as you with Orange, I just want them to list it as coming soon! It's driving me mad, I can be so impatient with stuff like this sometimes haha.
For orange France it's not planned yet...
I wait because I want to by it with mobile contract at less price than unbranded...

Yup +1 that.... Orange are in danger of loosing out if they wait much longer- Hmm Xperia X2 anyone?
I've had our company phones with Orange for over 10 years, but have just switched to Vodafone. We save around £500 per month (20 Touch Pro and Pro 2 all free), have all data included in the plan plus managed services with antivirus, firewall etc and the cuistomer service people I speak with are much more responsive than Orange. No problems with connectivity. The choice of handset and talk / data plans is far better than Orange and in the 3 months we've been with Vodafone I have experienced no probs whatsoever.

See, I've been provided a fabulous service with Orange. My price plan is very cheap and I get a lot for my money. I'm on the £8 a month internet bundle which apparently is limited to 500mb or whatever but I usually use over a gig a month and never get charged.
I'm going to wait it out, I just up hope some new information crops up in the next week. They'd be able to release it if Orange didn't bog down the phone with so much crap!

Not helpful sorry, but if its any consolation, I am getting the same run around from o2. Least with Orange, they have to keep releasing the 'business' class devices. o2 (I think) are going to limit the new devices to push people towards the iphone (sorry for swearing) or blackberry. Neither of which I personally want.
I just spoke with Orange business Sales
They say it should be available to first for Business Sales than Upgrades,
It will be available after the end of the 19th of July

Orange have updated their coming soon page on the consumer site.... no sign of TP2 yet
However I've been diligently checking the page for the past few months (I know, i know...) and updates seem to take place around 14-16th of each month.
Hoping that this darn phone turns up soon.

They're releasing the iPhone 3Gs? I didn't know O2 weren't keeping it exclusively anymore.
Orange updated their coming soon list! No TP2 though
Just got off the phone with Orange.
Apparently it's 'limited stock' at the moment and that the update on their server today said that they were in testing mode. If it pasts tests then it will be given to business customers in limited stock, then if it is popular they'll release it to personal customers.
What was interesting, was that he said if an Orange shop stocks the phone, they might be a to give to you on a personal contract as 'they have more leeway than the telesales'.
Sigh, the wait carries on...
ORANGE now sell the TP2

If you've got a silver dash (not sure about black) that is still under warranty and have been putting off an exchange for any issues it has had - now is the time to call. Some customers may be able to get an alternate exchange for the dash 3g at no cost or contract, plain and simple exchange due to the low supply of refurb dashes. An alternate exchange is a new phone not refurb as well so this is awesome if you still have a warranteed dash. A little birdie told me this. No word on if this is a permanent or temporary alternate.
Actually it is for a $50 minimum rebate on a new HTC device. And it ends at close of business TODAY! I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and they said as long as your old HTC device is not broken, damaged, the screen works, not leaking, no water damage, no corrosion and the hinge still works you can trade it in for money towards a new device. But it ends TODAY, 8-25-09. So that kinda bites the big one. This is according to someone I spoke to at T-Mobile about 5 minutes ago. If it were true I was gonna go trade mine in asap. But like Grandpop always said, "If it's too good to be true........." Hate to be the one to burst anyones bubble. I just burst my own.

Different deal. Basically I'm talking about warranty exchange - you're talking about a trade-in program. Basically older devices at end of life, can often get alternate exchanges for a newer device. But you do not call up for the alternate exchange - you only get it if you've got a technical problem that requires an exchange, when they pull up the exchange form it will show "alternate exchange" in some cases. If you called up T-Mobile and asked them straight up to send you the dash 3g, of course they'd send you the upgrade path
So basically you have to have a Dash that is still under some kind of warranty and has an 'issue'. Then since there aren't anymore of these to offer they have no choice but to offer you a new Dash 3G. Is this the basic idea here? Well mine is a little over 2 years old so I would not qualify anyway. I do carry insurance but yeah no more warranty from the manufacturer I am sure. Too bad.

Nice! Then you can go run my new ROM in the Maple Forums.
This does work!! I recently received my second Dash (silver) as a warranty replacement. The new one had a separate issue. While on the phone with handset warranty replacement, I asked about the G3. I was told no, but when she entered it into the computer as an option, it was accepted. Just received the Dash G3 yesterday and am loving it. Only issue I'm having is that the old dash screen is blank and I have no way of getting my contacts off of it, so far. Mobile Device Manager won't work, as I don't have Outlook. Still looking for options to retrieve contacts off of old dash.
I have warrenty replacement of a dash 1 on the way because some of the keys stopped working. They didnt offer the D3g but said I could get a new g1 through my insurance if I wanted to. So do I have to ask? What do I say because they told me the warrenty only covers the same phone?
This is exactly how I got my first Dash. I had the SDA, and it had a reception issue around where I lived. They sent a replacement - same issue. Then I asked about an alternate exchange for the Dash instead, and they said they could do it.
Hmmm, I will have to check that out! I have the black Dash though so not totally sure if it will work the same way. Many thanks for the helpful info!
I got the alternate exchange but they only one they offered was the 09 shadow brand new in the box. Its for my daughter anyway. I think shell like it better, it seems more girly than a dash.
Just called them.
Just called them up for my boss whos dash got dog chewed and they said they would send a regular old dash .
oh well.
Same here.
Have had a problem with the phone randomly turning off. Called for a replacement and they offered the same DASH or a Shadow. Stuck with the DASH. Should have it in a few days...maybe in a few months I can get the 3g when it's time for an upgrade.
These offers change all the time.... glad to see it has worked for some.
I had a dream last night I got the 3g in the mail. I was so happy.
Orange mad a big song and dance about being the first UK carrier to announce that they will be getting the HTC Desire. However, since them T-Mobile have beaten them to the release and now it looks like Vodafone will be next to get the handset out, judging by official release dates. (Before anyone mentions it I am well aware that it is available on Orange through Carphone Whorehouse and other online retailers. It's just that I want to know when Orange themselves are getting it).
I've heard rumours that Orange may be going for a 2nd April release, but nothing definite.
Does anyone know a definite date when Orange UK is going to get the handset? When I call them I am still getting operatives who don't even know that the thing exists, and others are still referring to it as the HTC Bravo! When I do get through to someone who knows about the Desire they just say "It wil appear on the website when we get it".
And you can bet that when it does appear on their website it already be out of stock.
Impatient? Me?!? Never!
I don't know an official date but just to let you know T-Mobile had a deal with HTC to get the phone out first.
They probably tried for an exclusivity deal (like with the G1, hero) but got rejected and got an (albeit quite short) timed exclusive deal.
Which is the reason why officially t-mobile themselves are stocking it before anyone else (I am aware you can get an unlocked handset with the contract ontop from places like mobiles.co.uk, carphonewarehouse).
It must have been a pretty late change of name.
My T-mobile supplied phone says HTC Bravo on the box!

They say HTC Desire on the box (where it matters).
The HTC Bravo sticker on the back is something which HTC has slapped on, internally they must be still calling it by it's codename.
It's been the HTC Desire for months.

I'm in the same boat - be interested to see what they offer you on upgrade. Phoned today and they said it should be out soon, but then said it's not available to upgrade customers until a few weeks later
They are so full of *beep* it's unreal. I think I might actually get my PAC code and go with Vodafone. If you see the other thread that I created T-Mob customers have had some cracking upgrade deals. Whereas Orange are still contemplating charging me for the phone. So in short the wait may not be for much longer, but it may not be worth it to stay with Orange...
If it is a Pay As You Go option you are looking for, some Carphone Warehouses still have stock (unlocked but with an Orange SIM).
As I mentioned in another thread, this is how I got my hands on one and I'm on an O2 contract.

Their operatives really haven't got a clue what's going on. When I spoke to them a couple of days ago I was told it would be available to upgrade customers at the same time as new customers! I had this exact same issue when I upgraded to the Diamond - it really depends who you speak to. Sometimes you'll get someone who's really clued up and will fall over themselves to help you, othertimes you get put through to someone who would appear to be the most unhelpful person on the planet.
The more I think about it, the more I'm tempted to jump to T-Mobile. I can get exactly the same deal that I am currently on with Orange (600mins, unlimited texts, "unlimited" mobile internet) for £30 per month, with the handset costing £60, directly from the T-Mobile website. So (and this is addressed to fuzzmo) if Orange say that they want £100 for the handset, tell them to go forth and multiply!
The other benefit of switching to T-Mobile is their rather tasty 3Gb "fair use" policy (compared to Oranges paltry 500Mb) for mobile internet on Android phones.
Oh, I'm going to have so much fun with Orange once they get the phone!
I've ordered my upgrade from buymobilephones yesterday. Switched from Racoon 30 to Racoon 25 and added 500mb of internet for £5. Phone cost me 69.99 which is a bit of a rip off now I think back but I suppose its not a huge deal.
Did say they had no idea when they'd actually have it in stock though. "Could be next week, could me in a months time"

Just to let you know, if you like Orange (their coverage, orange Wednesdays etc) it's an excellent time to now go for T-Mobile. On T-Mobile you can get some excellent deals with a barrowful of minutes and texts AND a 3GB internet FUP policy. In around 2 months time they'll be merging with orange and while your plan will stay the same you'll be able to enjoy benefits like <insert whatever the new network's name is here> Wednesdays and the combined strength of Orange & T-Mobiles network coverage
Probably around the same time as O2

Yup I am really thinking about it as they appear to treat their upgrade customers with much more respect and they certainly do give you a great Internet bundle. I am gonna tell them to go forth and multiply as they are just like Nationwides adverts - 'New Customers only'. Why they don't give a *beep* about their current high spending customers lord only knows....
My only concern with T-Mobile is their network coverage which leads me to....

Is this confirmed? Is it true that they will be using Orange masts etc. and also bringing in 'Orange' Wednesdays?.... If so (although the latter isn't important - coverage is) then that is a deal clincher for me...

Orange wednesdays isn't confirmed but they will be 1 network after the merger, not 2 and it;s been given the goahead by the EU and will be done in the next few months so it stands to reason they will use each other's current masts and have better coverage.

[topic=off]I wonder what they'll call the combined network? T'orange? A good northern name. [/topic]
The deal is confirmed

As for the name I thought Tangerine using the T-Mobile font in White on an orange background thus combining both.
