I just bought the latest version of the Kindle Fire. On my former Kindle I could click on "Fire" in the Explorer and it would show my the internal memory and the external memory, but on the new version all I get is a blank. I am trying to transfer my saved files into one or the other so I can utilize the data in my program. Any suggestions?

Hello! I have a rooted kindle fire 1st gen with twrp and a custom rom. I am going to be giving my kindle to a friend as a gift (I am getting a new tablet) and I was wondering how I would go about formatting (or just deleting everything) off the sd card without messing up twrp and anything that was vital for the kindle to run. Can I just delete everything but the twrp folder (will important folders recreate if I reflash the rom?) Thanks for any help!
I know this has been discussed before but I can't find anything recent on the topic...I am rooted with rbox latest pre-rooted rom and have a 500 gig usb drive attached to my Fire TV 1. the drive is working great and I have moved Kodi to it and everything. I can even move apps to it through the Fire TV Manage Apps setting, but is there a recent way to install and or move all game data to an external usb drive? I'm on rbox 5.2.1.1
thanks
does anyone know of the adb command to make the sd card the main storage of the fire tv 2nd gen.. it works on samsung android phones but i guess with the prefix sm is not the correct one for this device if anyone knows the full adb commands to mount the sd card to be main storage on the fire tv box let me know thanks.
I managed to get LineageOS 14.1 installed on my Kindle Fire 7" (Gen 7), however, I cannot for the life of me get it to acknowledge that there is a microSD card. Is this normal? There's a 64 GB SanDisk Ultra in it that I know still works and that worked when it was on FireOS earlier today.
I decided to put LineageOS on the Kindle because it was running super slow on FireOS and I love LineageOS on my Nexus 6, however, if I can't get the microSD card to work, I'm going to have to find something else. If it isn't possible, does anyone have a different OS I could try? This device is solely used for children games and watching videos, so basically anything that has Google Play and can see the microSD will work. Alternatively, if there is a way to use the microSD card as internal storage and not see the internal storage, that's also acceptable for this use case.
Thanks in advance! Hopefully someone can shine some light on this situation.
EDIT: Of course I would find the solution immediately after I ask:

Hello everyone!
I’m having an issue while using the remote ADB shell to partition my storage. It’s creating the partition for the external storage but not for the internal. I am doing an 80/20 split on a 1TB Samsung SSD connected via an OTG cable to my Fire TV Cube running on the latest software update. When checking the partition in the ADB shell using the “df -h” command, it shows the 800GB partition for the external but the additional 200GB for the internal is not there. Does anyone have any idea as to what is happening?
If any more information is required just let me know.
EDIT: I plugged the drive into my PC and it is showing the second 200GB partition. It’s just not showing on the Fire TV for some reason..
