U.S. OnePlus 3 Owners: What carrier delivered your package?

I ordered my OnePlus 3 late last week, and much to my surprise, the DHL tracking is confirming that it is in the U.S. and scheduled to be delivered today. However, I don't believe DHL delivers in my area and their tracking indicates that it is "with delivery courier". So I imagine they partnered with USPS, UPS, or Fedex. However, I can't seem to figure out which one will deliver it.

It may seem silly but I need to figure out which one it is because they are indicating a signature is required and since Fedex delivers around 12PM and UPS delivers around 7PM, figuring out which one has my package will determine when I can get my errands done today.

I am awaiting mine today as well and it lists the same thing yours does. Most likely with local post office as they seem to take over a lot of UPS/FedEx packages sent to my house.
Edit, I signed up for SMS notifications on the tracking page, they sent me a link saying that I can fill out a Signature Release form on their website to have it delivered w/o signature. This releases DHL from liability in the event it is stolen, however.

Mine came from Dhl signature required too. Because of this I don't think they'll hand yours off to USPS like happens a lot with over seas shipments.

Mine was delivered via DHL once it said "with delivery courier". I was a bit skeptical about this as well as the nearest DHL location is two hours away, but they drove it all the way to my house. The driver text me to ask if she could leave it on our porch, she even asked if I wanted her to hide it somewhere. Kind of weird to text the courier but definitely nice to not have to worry about a $400 phone just sitting in plain view.

UPS 2 day - I paid for priority shipping. I did sign for it, but I do not know if it was required as UPS requests one if you are available.

Thanks for the input guys. Like others mentioned, I received a text message from DHL after posting this thread that gave me instructions to change delivery or fill out a signature release to let them deliver it without a signature. I went ahead and filled that out, instructing them to just leave it at the front door. But I ran all my errands and no delivery has been attempted yet, so I'll be here when they do deliver it today.
It's very interesting that DHL is delivering it directly considering I don't see a DHL facility anywhere in my entire state, aside from the DHL hanger that is at the Denver Airport. I was previously under the impression that any DHL deliveries in my state would be transferred to UPS/Fedex/USPS for final delivery. I'll be curious to see if it's a legitimate delivery truck or if they just hire couriers with standard cars.
Anyway, just excited to get my phone now.
However, I do have one final question:
For those who chose to leave the OEM screen protector installed, how is it holding up? I'm normally one to use a tempered glass screen protector but since the OEM one comes perfectly installed with good coverage, I'm tempted to just leave it on for good.

I'm shocked as with the S7E promo (I opted for the GearVR) it took 2 months.
They did say up to 12 weeks.
Kind of crazy to have the card in hand before the end of the remorse (return) period.

This is why I preordered at Best Buy, had to wait a few days, but they shipped it to the store and I picked it up the Wednesday after release.

I'm just wondering how long after it was approved did it take to receive your gift.. Mine showed approved, but I received no tracking information.. But it said it's on outs way..

Mine showed up this past Saturday.

I made my submission late in the evening (US Eastern time) of August 25th, and the status changed to "approved, preparing for shipment" the afternoon of the 27th. Nothing's changed as of this morning (the 29th).

I still don't have a tracking number. My status just states, "congratulations your submission has been approved and your gift has been processed and is currently in route". I submitted my info early on the 20th. I can't find any information on it through my FedEx either, seems a label hasn't even been made yet. I'm not understanding how it's been "in route" now for 5 or 6 days and no tracking? Hopefully I get some tracking soon.

We've been talking about this in pre-order thread. A few people have gotten their card and watch. Most people seem to just be sitting on a label, myself included. I chose the watch and submitted afternoon of 19th and label was created 23rd.
Update: It's moving now, expected 2 days.

Mine finally shipped. Was waiting since the 24th. Says it will arrive tomorrow.

But my mind, and experience with shipping is how long does it take to create a label and ship out.. Jeeze.. But whatever, when it gets here, I guess it gets here..

I've been sitting on the your gift has been processed and is in route now for 7 days with no tracking at all. I can't even find a label for it through my FedEx. Guess it's not close to shipping then.

I submitted my promo on the 19th, and the processed step was showing up two days later, then in route. The tracking showed up on the 26th but it sat from the 24th till the 29th. Received the 30th so once it actually shipped it was overnight shipping.

It will be left on your porch, unless it comes via USPS, which can deliver it on the porch, or in a mailbox (if it fits). FYI, If a non USPS entity does put things in your mailbox, it's illegal under federal law.

My phone was received on Oct 21st and I have still not received my check. Today makes 14 business days when I call the hotline they told me give it to mid next week. I'm frustrated to say the least.

Not sure why kinda scam they really pulling and they have absolutely no information when you call, they just extend the date. They can't provide you tracking for the check , can't tell you if your check has been shipped, no email correspondence, and no way to check the status of your return. Samsung's advanced return system. What a joke

I'm supposed to be getting a bill credit from Verizon next month, but last night I received a package to return my note 7 which I have not had in my possession for over a month, and checked my orders section on my Verizon account and have a new order pending for a return of merchandise. If Verizon screws me on this I'm going to be ticked. I will fight it.

Finally got something from Verizon after numerous calls, I paid full price for the N7. I am suprised they are refunding me for the accessories as well. It also says they are sending me another return box I already got 2 and returned the phone a few weeks ago.

I got an email about receiving a check and the bill credit. Then I was just checking my bank account and noticed a change and it was the refund from the phone.

I called Samsung today and they told me 4 to 8 business days to get the check. It's been since Oct 31 when I they received the Note 7.

I got my check in the mail yesterday! I forgot about it, actually, so it was a nice surprise lol

Yesterday I received a compensation email from Samsung. It says its a repair self ticket but shows compensation request on the title.

But it was only 54 dollars. Supposed to get a 100 dollar bill credit, plus I lost my monthly payments I had paid towards the two note 7s while I had them. Definitely lost out a bit on this deal but love my V20

Anybody get one from Samsung yet?

I got a complete refund for my note 7 that I paid 2 year contract price for ($339). Still have the phone. I called twice about a box and never got one...safe to say now I have a free phone. I pray that Samsung doesn't kill switch these phones. Think I read somewhere that 12/15 was D-day for all remaining note 7s. Can anyone else confirm this?

Got mine check today from Samsung finally! $945 woohoo! Not bad for paying $600!

US Pre-Order Waiting Room

It looks like the S7 Plus is being released in India and other countries the end of this month. I even read that Amazon has it listed in India already. Kinda frustrating that there is no firm date yet in the US. I signed up for the pre-order notification, but sold my 12.2 Pro last week in anticipation of getting the Plus. I use it primarily in Portrait mode so am not interested in the typing cover.
Please post any news you see about the US release.

No Indication of when I can put in the order. Just read an article saying that the Plus is already sold out in Korea and that Sammy needs to ramp up production. The wait in the US might be longer than I first thought.

The trade in prices being offered are pretty good so I've seen no indication that there will be anything more than the $35 reservation discount.

good thing i got that note 20 ultra credit!!

Interesting that Amazon.UK and Amazon.IN both have full descriptions up on their sites but Amazon in the US does not. Best Buy, on the other hand, does have the Tabs wifi listed in the US. I have not seen any listings on the official cases offered by Samsung.
I just noticed that Best Buy edited their product page and removed the "release date" they had posted yesterday.

The S7 Plus is listed on Amazon's sites in the UK and India. Other sites have been mentioned as well.
Best Buy in the US has it listed but only to receive a notice when available. Samsung US let's you make a reservation.

heard they were released in other markets and samsung didnt expect demand to be so high and it pushed back the us release by a few weeks

At least we get something like a date. Last time I got a flagship tablet from Samsung was seven years ago roughly. I got the galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition and they just shipped out of nowhere. Thankfully then, I bought from an online retailer who mistakenly let them fly early. I posted about those exploits back in 2013 on xda when it happened. This time, I'm just going to pre-order from best buy. Samsung does need to communicate better but we are buying anyways so they are probably like, what's the point. I'm getting the 256gb s7.

I had a chat and the Rep said "Yes you will get $35 once you order the s7 plus."
I ordered the Silver 256 Plus and delivery is listed as September 22.

I went ahead and ordered the black S7+ 256GB and delivery is also 9/22 with the keyboard cover shipping on 9/25 with delivery on 9/29. Hopefully, we can still get the $35 without hassle

Offline booking... You won't get any case for free... As it was Samsung exclusive deal only for 6 hours in "live sale"... With early delivery on 9th Sep.

i prebooked it on 11:56pm and when the payment is done it was 11:59:47 pm so i was not eligible for case and pen. so i cancelled the order

on samsung shop app when i click on exchange and put my s21+ 256gb it shows deffered exchange value of 62360.
The S21+ is in pristine condition,my question is will Samsung/cashify honour this exchange value or will they throw tantrums while paying the amount later.Attaching screenshot of the same.
I went to a samsung cafe and the offered me 57,000(including 7k exchange bonus).
Anyone else has experience with samsung deffered exchange programs?

I didn't realize there are 2 options....instant and deferred! But in my experience with cashify....they always stick to their promised value as long as your assessment is true!

Looks like india is not getting the early delivery surprise that was seen in some other countries! Now I'm hoping they don't delay they're current estimates!

Samsung customer support has zero knowledge on this offer, frankly they cant even speak without shuttering, rip samsung

My phone has shipped and should arrive in a couple days! Final leg of the wait!!

Picked up my pre-booked device last night from the Samsung store. Initially booked the black, but changed to the green colour, and it looks excellent. The phone has dual SIM slots plus esim support. Waiting for my Spigen Slim Armor Pro case, it will be delivered today. The phone is stuck on the July security update, probably will take a day or two for it to get the latest update.

Yes, it has the snapdragon 888 chip…none of the z series have an exynos processor.
