Hi,
In the last week I've been getting complaints from people I ring that my voice is covered with interference sounds. Its gotten worse and I can't call anyone as they are now fully unable to understand me.
I've not dropped my phone and it's still in incredible condition.
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

hello every body , have a prob with my defy, since the day i've bouth this phone, i have experienced some speaker distortion during calls, like something vibrateing in my ear speaker, any ideea how to fix it, or i'll have to see warranty for this? Does anyone had this problem?

There is an issue with some of the Motorola Defy's and the earpiece. First they start crackling/static type noise, then it will cut out completely eventually. Just Google "Motorola defy earpiece", and you will see plenty of people with the issue. My co-worker is on his 3rd one now. My Defy has been flawless (knock on virtual wood).
Send it back in for warranty service.

I must say I have same problem. Nothing, nothing then BAM. When I set loudness to max, there is buzz and some sort of distorsion of sound. I have very new defy, I am wondering why they did not replace that bad earpiece in newer devicen when then know about thins problem from the start...

I bought a lenovo P2 recently and i had a problem with the external speaker. it works for a while, sometimes a day, or 2, then suddenly theres a bzzz sound and the speaker stops working. After rebooting, the problem still exists....I have tried every possible way to fix it....factory reset...running it in safe mode....flashing all the custom roms....flashing the stock roms...with no success....is anyone else facing this issue?
Yeah, I do have the same problem. But what can one do? I know if I send it in for repairs, I will get a refund or an offer for an alternative phone. I don't want that. Besides, it has been bad for a long time, but more recently the issue seemed to appear less and less often.
Guys don't do anything, just give to the service center. The speaker is broken that's why the distorted sound comes. I had this issue and i submitted to the service center. @JayVerhofstadt your handset will be repaired not refund and all.

I have a question for you and I hope I am in the right place. If not, I very sorry and tell where to post correctly.
In late May I have realized my 5T was making a buzzing/electronic sound through the earpiece (which was very annoying during phone calls). I have sent it to repair twice and I had the same issue. Then I just realized that this buzzing / electronic sound was coming from the internals of the device. I can clearly hear the sound through the back panel, especially when the WI-FI is turned on. So they changed the phone twice and I still have this sound coming out of the internals. I asked some colleagues to listen to it and they can hear it through the back panel, although they can not hear it through the earpiece. For them will not be an issue during phone calls in silent nights, but for me, it is . I know there are electronics inside and they should make a noise, but this noise becomes annoying in phone calls and it's not only a background noise. They may issue a refund.
So my question for you is: have you ever experienced that? Do you hear that sound? Can you please try it and see if you do (WI-FI turned on, a quiet room like hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms at night might be more suited for listening)? Are there any other flagships or phones that make this weird sound that can be heard through the earpiece?
And the second question for you is: what is the best option to replace 5T with? I am from Bucharest, Romania, so phones like Pixel 2 XL are harder to find, and some of the phones are usually 100-150€ more expensive than their USA/UK counterparts. Is it Honor Mate 10 Pro outdated? Is it Pixel 2 XL worth it so much? is Huawei P20 or Pro good enough? Is OP6, even without fingerprint gestures, a good enough experience to be a very good buy?

It should come from the fingerprint reader, AFAIK this is an "issue" for every op5t. Not annoying at all.
Yes i can confirm that. It is not anoying and sound don't appear durning calls at all.

My 7T frequently has call quality problems. When on a call people regularly say they either cannot hear me or if they can hear me it sounds like I am talking underwater or sound very muffled , making impossible to continue a call. Is there a fix or workaround for this problem?? I remember my old 1+1 had a similar problem.
One supposed workaround was to disable ok google from memory. It didn't work all that well then. How this can still be a problem with oneplus I don't know. The phone is great otherwise except for pocket touches which I found that by disabling double tap to wake stopped it.
Edit: Well the phone still has this problem. The only good news is that it doesn't happen all that often. The bad news is I dropped the phone and broke the screen. I am waiting on a replacement screen , which should be here in a couple of days. First time I ever had a broken screen.
Hi all. Does anybody else have any issues with the microphone on their S20 Ultra (Exynos)? Yesterday I was on WhatsApp video call with my dad and every few minutes my microphone would stop working, ie. he would not hear me until I disconnected and called him again, sometimes twice before it would work again. Initially I though maybe WhatsApp is buggy on new phone but today when I made a normal phone call to my mum I had the same issue, although only first time around and when I called again it was fine for the remainder of 20+ min call. But later in the day I again called my dad on WhatsApp and same thing happened, only once but still. Anyone else? Should I be worried my Ultra is dodgy on the hardware level or is this something that can be fixed with software update?
Same here. My s20 plus microphone hardly catches any voice when my mouth is near the mic itself. Whereas while on call the other party hears nothing when I speak normally on calls. It's annoying af. Somebody give us a solution.
