So I just got my P6P today and noticed that the update is taking hours..... Literally a bit over 2hrs. A 215mb update shouldn't be taking this long. Is this normal?
After 3 hrs total update went through
I had the same with januari update, 215 mb and took ages.
It seems that all Android 12 OTA updates take ages. No one has yet figured out why. If you want faster updates, you have to use sideloading (ADB).

Got new 360 directly form Moto yesterday, the build is still KKW22 with software 4.4W. From what I understand it's an older build. I can't update to newer KGW42N 4.4w1. I tried to manual update, but it says system is up to date. HORRIBLE battery life on KKW22. Took it off charger at 7:00am and its dead at 11:00am. Ambient, or in this case screen always on mode off. With MINIMAL use. WTF?? How can i update to the newer KGW42N update?

SAME HERE!! Maybe moto killed the update??
Having the same problem. Can't update and battery life is horrible.
another thing ive noticed is I cannot get the notification settings right... either my notifications work on my phone and watch (vibrate) or they are both silent...
IE, if I put my phone on vibrate mode, my watch will not vibrate for notifications.
If I have the sound on for my phone, my phone will still have notification sounds even though I have "notifications on watch only" setup.
Was reading this thread when I got the notification for the System Update.
SO, they're rolling out....
and...the moto360 is DEAD serious about being at 80% charge before running updates.
I can imagine. It takes 10% alone to reboot the thing

actually the update and reboot only took 5% total
making progress lol
I am trying to figure out why Motorola decided to "fragment" these devices.

yeah, for some reason, they werent pushing the update yesterday.
Did you guys have the extra watch faces and after the update they've disappeared?
Got mine from Moto-- doing the update (I had previously charged my battery) but now during the update it says "Charge your battery". Makes sense. Cept when i'm on the charger, i'm already at 75%. Is there a cutoff point before it does update?
edit: oh. 80%. my bad.
Battery got much better after a few charging cycles. Freak me out too on the first day about the battery life.

Thanks for the tip, a hard reset prompted the update. Those extra faces are now gone.
Last night I got 5mb update I don't know what it update. Only one thing which I notice is UI is more speedy other thing I did not notice. May be after one day I use and see the battery status. I am on .185 firmware. Any other got this update.
It's been out for quite a while. Central Europe received it yesterday, while the first region it reached was a month ago.
Getting prompted to update to M9E41Y. Can't find any news about the update. Does anyone know what is in this update?

I just took the update. Now shows December 1 for security date.
Not sure what else was updated.

It's just a security patch. BTW, I've already created a thread before you
Am not receiving any notification on my watch anyone having that problem

Opps, missed that subtle difference! I wonder if that fixes my Sleep as Android getting killed every night just after midnight?
I just installed it and hoping for better battery performance lower than 60% because its been dismal recently.
DONT DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE.
i didn't heed the warnings of others and updated. i haven't seen disconnect issues like this since the early days of android wear. you are better off with the 2.0 preview

Must be an isolated case. I've been on this update for a week and don't experience any connection issues.

it isn't just me!
Update has taken fine for me, not a single disconnect. I did enable Developer Mode which I hadn't done before, not sure if that aids the watch or gives it aids.
Battery life is better! I am currently at 50% battery after 30 hours off charge. I'll see if it lasts another 24+ hours.
EDIT: 24hr later, down to 5%. Steady decline, moderate screen on time. Still no issues with notifications/disconnects.
Hi,
I recently got myself an s9 256gb (exynos) and have had multiple issues with my first one.
Luckily they replaced it with another new one, and it had been running fine for a couple days.
Still need to get my notes from gmail working working (previous iPhone user), but i'll fix that.
Anyways, my question is. How long does it take you guys to see, "the stats" when you press on device maintanance?
It used to show it to me allmost instantly, but now it takes me around 40 seconds each time I open it.
On Youtube it looked like the phone of the revieuwers also showed it instantly, but I like to ask real users instead.
Thanks in advance..
Mine took around 37 seconds to load.
It's a bug for everyone atm, wait for an update

MSM'ed my OnePlus Pro back to A11 11.2.3.3 and that is when the problem started. Google Basic Setup took two days not including restoring my apps and data and updating from A11 to A12 took another two days. What is going on with Google? Internet speed is 100mb up and down.... Anyone have ideas as to why the slow setup and updates?

That is the senerio that occurred on my own phone LE2127. But on my wife's phone LE2127 it took a total of 4 days. I started Thursday 3/23 to 3/27 to get it back to full operation with setup and restore. Never happened before. It was like Google was downloading the files at kb/sec rather than mb/sec. It was really frustrating!

I had this happen on some of my restores (including Nexus and Pixel devices), with some theory on my OP devices. On one restore, it was so slow that I thought it errored out so I stopped it and restarted the process. Which ended up with my phone only restoring up to where the slow asf one got to and I was missing slightly more than half of my stuff.
Going into my theory:
They both overheated during the process and I figured that it shut down some of the stuff to cool down and made it error/go slow. I was actually quite embarrassed for OnePlus that the 10T overheated within 10 mins of first day use for something as basic as restore. The 9P also showed an overheating warning but I had expected this after the 10T pooped into its socks so I kept it extra cool and it didn't seem as bad but was warming up for sure.
Did you notice an overheated warning at any time?
