I have the permanent mounted Rennline magnet mounted in my car, its a round magnet on the dash. Looking for Z fold holder that will attach to the magent. Looking online I did not find one that works, as they all come with suction cup, cd or vent latches.

I've already got a screen suction arm, and holder for the Wizard. These are connected together through the standard 4 prong connection method.
If I get just a Brodit active holder (http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=5839), will it connect straight onto the existing sucker via the 4 prongs, or will I need to get another screen sucker? This page (http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=5860) seems to imply yes, but looking at the Brodit on it's own, I'm not sure.

I don't know which sucker you have, but the Brodit cradles come with a plastic swivel plate on the back with four holes, which are used to screw it to the mount. There are no prongs involved. Whether you could still screw the Brodit to your suction mount I couldn't say...
I've found the Brodit-specific car mounts to be excellent, and if you go to www.dsldevelopments.co.uk you'll get excellent help and advice.
The screen attachment you describe sounds like a Herbert Rickter product, the second link in your post is for an Artemis holder that is supplied with a HR screen mount. The normal Brodit powered holder you link in the first post will not connect to a HR mount, it needs a Brodit Pro clip specific to your vehicle.
I have tried coupling the Brodit holder to a HR mount and it simply doesn't work, there are addaptors for securing a HR holder to a Brodit Pro Clip but not the other way around AFAIK - Mike
can anyone recommend me a cheap £15 or less suction mount car holder. I have looked at some on ebay and i am concered with the way some lock the HD2 in it may get damaged. thanks

I would like to mount my phone to my ATV so I am looking for a smartphone holder. It musn't be a vaccum or bicycle type, because I want to mount the holder with two or four screws to the frame, so there are no doubts the phone and holder would fall off when riding on a more rough terrain..
Any suggestions?

Why don't you look into Brodit or ProClip mounts? Hope this helps.

Active holder from Brodit should do the job, but it still isn't that secure. There is no additonal "limiter" from the left (or top if in landscape). Motorola has some excellent original holders, I wish something like that would exist for SE..

I bought one of these - it sticks to the dashboard - it give the dashboard mount a smooht surface to stick to like a windscreen.

You can buy something like the above poster linked (but make sure the area is enough for the suction cup of your holder, not all suction cups are of the same size.). or make something similar yourself. I cut a circle out of an old CD case and stuck it to the dashboard with double sided tape, didn't cost me anything and it works fine .
EDIT: I just realized that tomtom disk is 8.5cm in diameter, should be large enough..
and also kind of cheap, and look esthetic.
I am looking for a 15W Qi car mount charger that will fit the thin form factor of the fold 3, and fit in a CD slot. Magnetic would be ideal, but unsure how that would interfere with the charging...
Anyone find one that works well?

I've used the mount every way.
Closed. Both horizontal and vertical.
Open the same.
I prefer open. With the crease running vertically and clamping top and bottom. Makes it easy to have maps and Spotify open at the same time and plug in a charger.

Don't buy anything yet. I have tried several Qi MAGNETIC chargers off Amazon UK (Prime so can return if not happy, you will be though) and have two great solutions now with CD Slot Mounts and Vent Mounts. Both hold the Fold extremely well and you can rotate and evem open and close it whilst on the mount. Not fallen off once and have been on some extremely bumpy roads. Just have to stick a extremely thin metal ring to the back of your case, no where near as bad as that may sound, think it adds a little character to it ☺.
Had to buy the bits separately but still cheaper than the clamp Qi mounts out there that fit the Fold.
Not able to right now but I will post the details tomorrow for you.
