Hello. I did change the battery in a samsung store. With the phone info app i have same level 93.94% and 650 cycles. Anyone knows why? I did a factory reset and nothing.

I know battery issues are common on the gnex, but I couldn't find the specific issue I'm having. My phone charges the battery just fine, however it doesn't ever display the correct battery percentages. A 100% charged battery will only show 85% on my phone, and a 55% battery will show 0% on my phone and it will shut itself off. I've done lots of testing swapping with my wife's phone and can confirm that my phone is the problem. It does this with both the original 1850 mah battery and the 2100 mah Samsung extended. Because I can only use the 100% to 55% actual range (it shuts itself off because it thinks it's dead), my battery life is even shorter than usual. I've tried reflashing my rom and also a wipe of /data and /system before reflashing. Tried a few different kernels as well. My next step is to try a complete factory restore to stock, but before I do that has anyone had this issue before and is there a way to fix it?

Just adding an update in case anyone else runs into this and is searching. It definitely is a hardware issue, as I had factory reset and tried several batteries. It continued to deteriorate until it would stop charging at 68%. I got a replacement from Verizon and lo and behold the replacement has the same issue (plus the handset speaker sounds awful). Now they are sending me a new one which I should get Monday. Hopefully that will be the end of this...

Did you try a Battery calibration app?
Yes, out of desperation. As others have pointed out though, battery calibration apps just wipe the batterystats.bin file. This does nothing to actually calibrate the battery and android automatically does this every time you fully charge anyway. My device and it's replacement both had the issue. Got the new one and am going to swap tonight, here's hoping it works.

Hello,
I've found sometimes it happend I couldn't unlock my screen by unlocking pattern. There was just no pattern when I pushed power button. I could switch screen on and off but nothing more. The only solution was to restart the phone.
These days I've been monitoring my battery performance, because new firmware flashed (UBUMK4). I've got info this one should improve it.
Unfortunately I've found strange battery consumption (5% drop at once) during the lockup I mentioned (it last just few seconds, maybe a minute)
Has somebody noticed the same or similar behavior?
I didn' flash new Knox, so hopefully I can switch to another fw , if it is fw related.
I can upload screenshot of battery performance, if someone interested...

I have S4 mini i9195, with version 4.2.2. if I reset the phone battery life is alight, overnight spending is around 3-4 %.
But after next charge battery is going rapidly down – over 20 %.
I tried all apps, and nothing seems to take effect, only restating is making a difference, but only for 1 charging time.
I also tried hard reset, but the same thing.
Anybody have any explanation.
Hi,
Would it be possible to see historical battery information of the watch.
The gear app only shows usage since last charge. Would it be possible to get like a graph of when it was charged in the past months, and seeing the times between charges ?
I've not modified the watch in anyway, all default out of the box.
Are there apps out there already ?
Cheers,
Marc
My galaxy watch 46mm LTE uses way more battery with the "One" FW, I got 3days at maximum. Before the update I got about 4-5 days.
I updated to "One" and get around 4 days of batterylife
I'm also getting better battery life with "One" UI so far...
I had the battery replaced not even a year ago because it had been draining so rapidly. When they replaced the battery, I was told that there were some other diagnostic things they could do if the replacement didn't help. I did not do that because it sounded like it would be cheaper to get a new phone. Now it is back to the same old thing, not lasting more than maybe 4 or 5 hours without having to be charged. I took it to Verizon and they couldn't detect anything obvious that would have caused it to happen. I admit, I don't know much about what settings I should have turned on or off to help with this. Any suggestions?
Is it draining while you're using it or does it happen overnight? Have you checked the battery settings in the control panel? There's an app called System2 which reports battery usage, have you used something like that to see if it's an app causing the problem?
HI. Recently bought mi11x and device heats up a lot. while charging.
is there any solution.
i am on MIUI 12.5.7
does anyone else also have it or its just me?
I was wondering will moving to a custom rom or kernel will help in any way?
A bit of heating up is normal.
Maybe you're not used to it because your new phone has Much Faster Charging than your previous phone.
You could look at the stats. Download "AccuBattery" from Play Store. Very useful app.
It'll show you the rate at which your phone is being charged, and the temp.
You can factory reset and recalibrate your phones battery if it's a new phone and newly updated.
