Where is Galaxy Watch ESim Stored? - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

So I was thinking of flashing my Galaxy S20+ with the unlocked firmware. However I'm concerned that doing so will wipe out the ESim for my Galaxy watch 3. Does anyone know if the ESim data is stored on the watch or the phone and/or if reflashing the phone (or factory resetting it for that matter) would wipe it out?
It was quite a painful process getting AT&T to add the watch to my account. I had to add an additional line and then call back to cancel the old watch. I don't relish having to call them back again because I accidentally wiped out the ESim.
Thanks, and yes I know this is probably a stupid newbie question.

I got my N20U & GW3 together, phone was running carrier locked firmware, I switched CSCs to unlocked BTU CSC using samkey, and got an update OTA for the BTU firmware, so now N20U is running BTU and Galaxy Watch 3 still works as it should / was prior to changing CSCs
The watch has it's own modem, can make calls without the phone, has it's own number, it only relies on the phone for syncing media and data from apps, it doesn't 'need' the phone to function as a phone

if you flash the HOME_CSC it wont factory reset thereby not removing factory apps, but with a different carrier firmware set, the lock on certain apps should be removed and all old carrier specific apps should be able to be uninstalled or at the very least deactivated

T-Mobile N10+, switch to Verizon without wiping phone?

I have a T-Mobile N10+ and thinking of switching to Verizon. Getting it carrier unlocked by t-mobile shouldn't be a problem, but can I then flash Verizon firmware without losing everything?
I've been reading a bunch of threads and I'm super confused.
Something about using HOME_CSC instead of CSC would enable me to keep apps/settings/files/everything as-is? Can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance.
Just heard from a tmo employee on Reddit that since the October update, the phone has auto CSC so all I would need to do is get t-mobile to unlock it and then just inserting a vzn sim would take care of the rest. True?

safest bet is to create a backup and be prepared for it to wipe

A50 Came with Verzion firmware, need advice.

I bought my mom the A505U for Mother's Day and she is on T-Mobile.
She has it all set up and says calling and everything worked automatically but when she start up the phone it has the Verizon splash screen, so it looks like came with Verizon firmware. Is it recommended to put different firmware on their, like the "USA" firmware from Sammobile or is there really not much difference. I think she said she also had trouble with the voicemail, but she eventually got it setup but says it doesn't work the same as her old T-Mobile phone. Also, if I put a different firmware on their via Odin, will it wipe her phone?
Thanks in advance.
"if I put a different firmware on their via Odin, will it wipe her phone?" - yes
How often does she restart it? its not really a problem just branding, im sure you could get the t-mobile one and it would have the t-mobile boot screen instead, most a50s are the same inside - its really user preference

I didn't see a T-Mobile firmware on the site. I only saw Verizon, Sprint, Comcast, and USA. I'm guessing USA is the unlocked version. I don't think T-mobile carries the A50.
I think she restarts her phone very little, probably only when it dies. I guess it's not that big of deal. Just an annoyance i guess.

the phone has multi csc meaning it doesnt matter which firmware is used.. it should change with the sim card inserted.
you could try entering into dial pad *#272*IMEI# then selecting TMB.. this will most likely wipe the phone tho

Yeah, I think she would rather deal with the splash screen then wiping her phone. She has it all setup and everything. Everything works fine, it's just the splash screen, and I think the voicemail works differently but she got it working though. I will ask her what specifically is different with the voicemail but I'm pretty sure she rarely turns it off anyways. I will talk to her about it and ask her if it's worth it to wipe the phone or not.
Thanks the reply!

I get an error while doing this.
I guess I will just try to flash the "USA" firmware through Odin. I guess she is having a couple annoying problems:
Samsung Cloud is hidden and even shortcutmaker wont open it.
Voicemail/Visual voicemail problems
Splashscreen
Regular error notification that the sim is not a verizon sim.
and a couple other ones I can't remember.

CSC Change On Locked VZW S9 To Use It On Tracfone?

Good day everyone!
I recently got a new phone (Galaxy S21), and I saw that you can bring your own phone to Tracfone, so I gave my Verizon S9 (SM-G960U) to my wife (to upgrade her old Samsung Tracfone phone).
We bought and installed the Tracfone SIM card and everything seemed to be working (she could make and take phone calls).
Little did I realize that Tracfone actually also uses WiFi for phone calls, and thus making and taking calls was not using Tracfone's network while connected to WiFi.
When we started researching why her phone did not work outside the home, we found that the CSC is still set to VZW.
This S9 has the latest April 2021 security update from Verizon (Android 10).
I downloaded an older stock Tracfone ROM, but Odin fails with an Auth error (presumably because the phone is not unlocked nor rooted, and the bootloader is locked).
I also tried just flashing the CSC with a Tracfone CSC, but it also failed with an Auth error.
All of the research I have done to this point indicates that Samsung makes flashing Android 10 Galaxy phones very difficult, and I suspect that I am screwed.
Should I put the Verizon SIM card back in and beg Verizon support for an unlock code? Will that even help?
Why doesn't the Tracfone SIM card override the VZW CSC? I thought the SIM card would take precedence.
Thank you in advance, and I hope I am not repeating another thread (I searched, but I couldn't find anything related to changing CSC or rooting a Samsung Galaxy phone running Android 10).
P.S. I have no objections to performing a factory reset of the phone if it will help.
P.P.S. I would like to run the stock Tracfone S9 image so my wife can get the OTA updates, but I'm willing to do whatever to get it working (I would even be happy with running the existing VZW firmware as long as it works).

Question Change CSC from ATT to TMOB in the US?

Hope I could get some good advice from the collective. This week my wife and I changed our carrier from ATT to TMOB. I have a Fold 4 and she a Fold 3. Her went perfectly. Mine, not so much.
Both phones were paid off in advance. No balance for either on ATT.
We started out and got the unlock code from the old ATT carrier for both phones.
We got the code to port the existing telephone numbers from the old carrier ATT.
We established out TMOB account.
When we scanned the QR code for TMOB with the fold 4, it asked for the ATT provided unlock code, which it accepted
Fold 4 rebooted
BAD: The Fold 4 booted with the old ATT logo, not the TMOB logo, but it come up with the esim on TMOB.
Good: The fold 3 booted up with the TMOB logon, and it downloaded all the TMOB bloat, and came up with the esim on TMOB
BAD: On the Fold 4, I cannot seem to get 5G service, because the CSC still points to ATT even though in Settings==>Connections it recognized it is on TMOB
So I supidly flashed the TMOB firmware from Sammy, which was the same Oct 1 security release I had on the phone. I used HOME_CSC to prevent data wiping.
When the Fold 4 rebooted, it went into RECOVERY and told me it required a FACTORY RESET. Would not boot up normally. I tried many times
Performed FACTORY RESET. Restored the phone from SAMMY Cloud.
Same issue - still no 5G service still usnign ATT CSC
Called TMOB and they recommended I remove the esim. Mistrake - then I had no service.
Went to TMOB store and they provided a real SIM so I got service back
But still on the ATT CSC
Told me to go back to ATT, but they say it is unlocked?
Any advice how to force the phone to use the TMOB CSC? Phone is NOT rooted. I know if I root it I can force the change. But I don't want to root it.
Thanks in advance.

I would use a patched ODIN and fully flash TMB firmware alongside user_data, it would be a fully factory reset but it will be T-Mobile from the very beginning.

Ah, I did not use a patched Odin. Perhaps that is where I went wrong?
I did flash User Data.
Thank you for the suggestion!
In case this is helpful to others with the Fold 4 and the wrong CSC, I was able to change from ATT to TMOB using SamFW FRP Tool V3.1 (not the latest, but one that had a working CSC changer).
At the end it said it was rebooting, but it never did and I just manually restarted it and all was good
