Hi everyone ,my first thread here , and so on
Like the title says im tired of the whole f*kin process of unbricking , I've hard bricked my phone only 1 week after purchase ( what a stupid monkey i am to do such :/ ) after a whole year of money saving to buy this ****ty mediatek processor . I cant aford 25 usd in the mean time to pay some russian scammer (corona no working ) . I searched everywhere no sleep all in vain , found no *working* way to bypass the crappy mi authentication . I know there are some real gentlemen here that will understand my situation and help me with their authorized account i know its hard to trust strangers and even this line can make me more suspicious . I know there are many posts like this . But please help me and i will be very happy to give back service anytime
Btw i bricked my phone by flashing a global rom on my indian phone the seller told me it was global (((((( (I should have paid more attention)

i have lately get my phone stuck every 5 minutes , freeze , and other stuff.
i tryed to hard reset the device , but nothing helped.
i dont have warranty , so i cant send it in to htc support service.
dos any one know please a good repair shop for the artemis ? i think it has a hardware problem , maybe the cpu ,or the ram , or the gsm radio , or else.
if some one know anything about a place i'll be glad to hear.
i prefer uk but elsewhere in europe would be fine.

I made a real dumb mistake. My Artemis made some trouble when I was talking on the phone.
Now I send it back to repair the mailfunction.Only problem : I forgot to put the original Windows Mobile back on the device ( I know...I know...stuuuupid move)
Do you guys think I have any chance of getting the device repaired or do you think they will say the guarantee is gone for good ?

Outch....ok, had to expect that. Really a bad mistake. No way of kinda "reclaiming" the guarantee by putting the original WM back on it hum ?
You can try... but remember that they will have details of you and your phone so propably its not gonna work. Anyway wish you luck I repaired my phone somewhere else of course paying for it
Hey there,i got a serious problem ,last friday (18.05) some guy stole my phone from a Pub,on saturday (19.05) i went to police and told them what happened ,my question for you guys is : Can i trace my phone through web or something by IMEI ? I live in Romania and i dont really put my hopes on police .I tried to install apps like Plan B from market but useless. Need help

i need to contact htc international any country except in the middle east using english language because customer support here in egypt through warranty service shop or gurantee whatever it is calles sucks a lot and support through phone number they give me in guide apk in my phone the people whore responds are also arabs , i dont mean insult or anything , but they are like sheep and i have more knowledge than them about the phone , so if kindly any1 can give me a way to contact htc anywhere away frm middle east , through mail cuz my english is good not perfect nor bad , but my pronunciation / speaking is vert bad m i would be very very grateful ,

1- from the first day i bought the phone m8 dual sim dugl it has been so so laggy and slow slow even more than my one x
after 1 weak i unloadked the bootloader but i learnt that there is no custom roms support yet for my version so i stopped at that and didnt install custom recovery so i can recieve ota's , my phone freezez alot alot and i mean alot , if i am listening to music and iopem gallery it can take up to 1 mins , and playstore crases 4 out of 10 times , trying to take a photo takes foreever , anyway u get the idea ? . i downloaded clean master , tried using every option in it , hard reseted myphone twice once b4 unlocking the bootloader and once after and the same problem so i know the bootloader unlocking is not the problem cuz it has been present since day 1 , not to mention the phone heats like crazy without much use and the battery isworst than my 3 years old htc sensation even with power save mode on with all app closed ,i went the the warrant shop 3 times and i told them i unlocked the bootloader and no problem i will pay money just fix the phone ( 3 times !!) 1 time software problem , 1 time u dropped it , 1 time its normal it takes time to esttle in , and the phone support through guide app i called 5 times , everytime they tell me visit the warrant shop , and i tell tjhem they are useless , and ask about update they tell me it's not planned for ur model yet , 1 time they tell me ur model is faulty maybe although my friend has the same model dual sim and is amazing as the regular m8 which got the update , even the m7 dual sim got the 4.4.3 update , so what i am saying i paid nearly 800 dollars for a fancy looking phone with performance worst than ifruit ( i pee) (i idiot ) 3 , and my sensation xe , what do u advice me to do ?????? , i need to contact some customer support with english language through mail away from middle east plz ,help me if u can

I just checked on the htc website (www.htc.com) and at the bottom of the page there is a contact section where you can get contact details for all htc locations (or use an email option). Not so hard.

Hi Guys, I Writing this with saddest ever. i bought this phone, which was good. but during rooting. my device went bricked. i took the device to the service center and they took the phone on 5 - 10 -2017 and Now Returned the Phone on 19-10-2017. Lodge a online complain in Govt. Consumer forum with as much detail as possible. The complain should reach to Lenovo higher authority and they can provide a replacement.

ok. but they are saying it is a water damage, and they found water inside my phone. so doing something like that will be good? And also i encountered a rain once one day before the damage.

The handset may have water-detector substance inside, which will change its colour once the substance get in touch with any liquid. So, once the water detector is tripped, you'll loose your warranty even if the damage isn't caused by water.
Now if you want to repair it paying the required money, and the company refuses to do it, you can definitely lodge a complain because the handset is within support period.
it is better to buy other good device than mediatek... even i m frustrated with lenovo and mediatek... this is last phone with mediatek and now its goodbuy to mediatek ..

they will telll please wait.. i called the customer care, they also told me it is a new product so its parts have to come from other country so it is also having gst causing it to slow down in india.
not yet got the phone from the service center it is not yet ready because parts are not available,
I checked on Lenovo forums u didn't get ur device repaired yet . They repaired mine in 13 days(diwali off including) . Try to mail Lenovo service about ur issue . They will reply for sure.

i think i must go to the consumer court. i have done that too. emailes them in, called service center and customer care every day. they always say please wait, we understand. so i waitied, now it is almost 30 days when it is in 5-11-2017.:crying::crying::crying:
they also want me to pay for the products repair.

I got my phone back after 67 days of repairing.. from the Lenovo service centre and I paid them 4300 ruppee . Too much.. now also the camera in depth mode have started some issue. It is not have a perfect motion. And the serial number of the device went off.

Now I may advice u to sell it on olx and get another device. Bcoz development of k8 note is ****. If u r in rooting flashing custom Roms u definitely not gonna enjoy it . I sold mine @12k
