Hello guys i am on Miui 11.0.3.0 (Redmi note 5 pro indian version) and whenever i check for system app updater it doesn't show system launcher updater as it used to show earlier. I've tried flashing again via fastboot several times still the problem persists.
I know i can sideload the apk update but it must show an update itself.
One time it showed the update but when i reinstalled miui after having a custom rom experience it disappeared again.

Just wondering if it could be done
I am wondering install mipay on my rooted mix 2 which is using miui.Eu 7.9.22.
Miui Chinese version has a lot of ads and it's annoying me.
I have personally had no luck with Magisk Rooted, I tried with Stock Chinese Rom 8.5.4 and older Version, Beta 9, EU Rom, and Epic Rom.
I had success doing this: (Verizon seems to have no Data connection on Chinese Stock 8.5.4 roms, once MIUI 9 is installed there is no issue, just FYI. )
Have bootloader unlocked
TWRP 3.1.1 installed.
TWRP Format Data
Download Chinese Stock 8.5.4 Rom via MIUI site. from computer
connect phone to computer while in TWRP paste Chinese rom to phone
Install Chinese Rom
Boot Chinese Rom
Go to Updates - and download update if available / or go to top right and choose download update (we just want it to download an update file)
go to PC and download the DEV MIUI 9 rom.
Once Update on phone is downloaded - connect phone to PC - go to downloaded-roms
Delete the "update" that was downloaded
Paste the MIUI 9 DEV update on phone - downloaded-roms
On phone go to top right Manually install update.
(message about formatting data will appear - accept and install)
Once the phone is done - setup like normal
Use mi store to install Play store
Download this version of Sam Pay - Older APK. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuILo2G6gRA89j9E2YcOflczu3iU and install
then go to play store and install gear app.
Go back to sam pay - You may need to install again to find it - accept all prompts to install services /apps.
Proceed with normal setup.
DO NOT UPDATE SAMPAY - if you update, the device will appear rooted.
Best of Luck
Update, i got Sam Pay working with Magisk using Xenon HD latest.
Cheers.
Awesome! Which module did you use? Well that's
bump.. i have a locked bootloader china firmware mix 2. will samsung pay work?
Hello, Can you use sampay on MST device ? does i work ?
When I unlocked my device and installed TWRP the first rom I flashed was Miui.eu, everything started normally showing the options to add the google account and make the initial settings, however I had to install the global stockrom through Miflash and after installing TWRP and Miui.eu again when starting it was no longer shown the option to add the google account and not even restore my apps, just the Miui settings, does anyone have any idea what may have happened?
Hi there. I'm new to Xiaomi/MIUI and would appreciate any help with the following issues.
Mi 10T – Global Stable 12.0.8 – stock launcher – MIUI optimization ON – de-bloated with ADB
I can't see how much storage space is being taken up by each installed app/package. They all show a "0" value.
I can't find Running Services under Developer Options.
I can't permanently disable usage access for System Launcher. It re-enables itself once I exit the settings menu.
App icons aren't updating. For example, Gmail, Maps, Photos and FB Messenger still display their old icons, despite me using the latest versions of those apps.
Google Play still displays the older menu style, despite me using the latest version of that app.
System Apps Updater doesn't detect OTA updates, despite several newer versions of MIUI 12 system apps existing on APK Mirror. This issue presented itself before I began de-bloating.
Updater doesn't detect OTA updates. I had to sideload 12.0.8 in order to update from the phone's original OS version (12.0.7). This issue presented itself before I began de-bloating.
Full disclosure: I'd rather not turn off MIUI optimization to see if that resolves any of these issues, as I'm not keen on resetting permissions (again).
Edit:
When I uninstall an app via the app drawer, a gap is left in its place. The icon of the uninstalled app is still there, it just turns invisible. I can uninstall it over and over, but it doesn't go away until I reboot the phone.
There doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the phone's equalizer. I can't use Blackplayer's equalizer until I do so. I don't know if the same applies to other music players.
Edit:
There doesn't appear to be a way to add emergency contacts or access them via the lockscreen emergency dialer. Emergency information (com.android.emergency) exists within the list of installed apps.
I'm on Global 12.0.7, unlocked, rooted and debloated. Stock recovery. What did you exactly do to update to 12.0.8? I do not want to wipe and I'm a little confused with the procedure...

I downloaded it from here, went to About Phone in Settings, clicked on the OS version number in the top left, clicked on the 3-dot menu in the top right and installed it via Mi File Manager.
AFAIK, you can only use Mi File Manager to install the update via this method. If you've disabled or uninstalled it, nothing will happen when you click that menu option – even if you've installed another file manager.

I just tried this. It reboots and starts updating... but goes from 0.X% to 100% in two seconds, then it boots and it's still 12.0.7

Finally I booted into TWRP and flashed 12.0.9 from there, no issues.

Ya it says it needs twrp. Have not tried it yet tho.
I've got mine today. Looking good.
Although no new theme or wallpapers.
Got my device Yesterday, now Android 12, MIUI 13.0.5 ist installed
Just got updated to MIUI 13.0.5 too. Except the nr 13, I do not see much difference.
I have updated to MIUI 13.0.5.0. I have no big issues, but i noticed that Google Discover feed layout is changed (now is more ugly), and there is green dot near front facing camera when camera app is opened.
Works such much better then 12.0.5.8
Hi,
I've just install MIUI 13 on my 11 lite 5G NE, but i have a problem on dark mode, the "More dark mode options" does not show any applications.
And the system apps updater is on light mode.
I didn't have this problem on 12.5.8.
Can i downgrade to MIUI 12.5.8? How?
Thanks for your help.

If there wasn't anti-roll back in miui 13 then you can do it with xiaomi flash but you need to have unlocked bootloader to do this. You can check anti-rollback by connecting your phone to computer in fastboot and run this in cmd : fastboot getvar anti
If the result is 1 or larger then you can't. Anti-rollback version in miui 12.5.8 should be 0.
If i want to make the update by the downloaded 12.5.8 zip in "update parameter", it will work? Or this will brick the phone ?
When i want to run the cmd in Fastboot, it tells me "Fasboot" is not recognized as an internal command.

you need to install adb drivers first.
link to download is here.
After that try run command again in the extracted folder.
Hi,
I managed to install adb drivers, and yes i have anti-rollback=1.
Hello everyone.
I've downloaded HD1903_11_F (almost 4GB) using Oxygen Updater.
Uninstalled Magisk
Installed the update
Installed Magisk to the inactive slot and then restarted the phone.
After restart, OS still on version 11. I've repeated the steps several times and always have the same result. It does not update.
Any idea why and how to bypass this?
Thanks,
kodiak.
P.S - Although I was able to download the file using Oxygen Updater, on system updates, it says my phone is up to date. This is the first time. Whenever I had an update on Oxygen Updater, system updates also showed that update.
Local install?
Yes. Local upgrade
I upgraded to Android 12 by installing the HD1901_11_F file from Oxygen Updater. I have now downloaded HD1903_11_F from Oxygen Updater, however, it fails to install at 0%.
