HD1903_11_F does not update. - OnePlus 7T Questions & Answers

Hello everyone.
I've downloaded HD1903_11_F (almost 4GB) using Oxygen Updater.
Uninstalled Magisk
Installed the update
Installed Magisk to the inactive slot and then restarted the phone.
After restart, OS still on version 11. I've repeated the steps several times and always have the same result. It does not update.
Any idea why and how to bypass this?
Thanks,
kodiak.
P.S - Although I was able to download the file using Oxygen Updater, on system updates, it says my phone is up to date. This is the first time. Whenever I had an update on Oxygen Updater, system updates also showed that update.

Local install?

Yes. Local upgrade

I upgraded to Android 12 by installing the HD1901_11_F file from Oxygen Updater. I have now downloaded HD1903_11_F from Oxygen Updater, however, it fails to install at 0%.

Update Error

Hi guys, I really hope you can give me a hand here. I was rooted using method 3. Yesterday I unrooted the device. Today there were some OTA updates, so I downloaded them and wanted to install them. It was 58 if I'm not mistaken. The phone rebooted and started installing the updates and after few seconds a symbol of android popped up with an error message. After that the phone started and said that update wasn't installed and the origanal settings were returned. After that it said that there wen't new updates available. Factory reset didn't help either. Later a new update was available 59 I think, but the same thing happened... I really don't know what to do now.
I have ZF2 64Gb, WW version installed on it.
right now running 2.19.40.22
I'm really hoping for your help
Update: I've don't system wipe and cache wipe from the recovery menu
Update N2: I've managed to install V2.19.40.22 image from official website. But my phone doesn't show me an option to do an OTA update, it says that there aren't any update available. Is there a way to make him check again properly?

Do you mean as in making the file MOFD_SDUPDATE.zit puting it on the SD card and through recovery? The update starts, then says gives an error
In recovery it says:
Veryfying current system...
"/system/build.prop" has unexpected contents
E: Error in /sdcard/MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip
(status 7)
I might have edited my build.prop file back then when I was playing with DPI. Now I can't find the line I edited... please help

That's why you have to flash the pre root firmware first. It restores all the system files so they can pass the check while the OTA runs.

Marshmallow monthly update failed

My tablet is currently on stock MRA58K. I've rooted it, installed TWRP, and have Xposed installed (if that matters). I've been holding off installing the OTA system update(s) because I didn't want to mess with re-rooting (I see that's not a concern). Anyways, after searching for a fix to my Netflix playback problem, I see that it was fixed with one of the monthly updates (MRA58U). With this information I went through the steps of installing the OTA update (Settings->About Tablet->System updates). The updated downloaded and asked me if I wanted to install it and restart the tablet. Everything looked normal. When the tablet rebooted it booted straight into recover (TWRP). Confused by this, I just rebooted into system from TWRP. As far as I can tell the update didn't install. The build is still MRA58K and I still have the Netflix playback issue.
Is there a way to manually download and install the incremental monthly updates? I don't want to install the full blown factory image and have to re-setup the tablet.
Thanks
Maybe just get some MRA58V ROM since you have TWRP? And yeah, you wont be able to install official OTA with TWRP, you need to be stock for that.

LineageOS update

I have a problem with the latest update from lineageOS 10. I have downloaded the latest update lineage OS 10 by using OTA update and after I installed the update there was a problem with my file manager could not be opened. Always says "unfortunately the file manager has stopped". My devices samsung galaxy N7000. And i have successfully run android nougat with the help of custom rom lineage 14.1. But after I did this update then did the file manager problem no longer work. How to fix it? Please help me !!!
Sultan211, LineageOS 10 (10.0, not 10.1 and 10.2) is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean?, Correct?
Sent from my XT1254 using XDA Labs
Flash stock rom
If the File Manager is buggy with the latest update you downloaded, there is nothing much you can do except to wait for the next update and hope for it to be fixed. Alternatively, you can download a different file manager and use that in the interim until the next update where the FM might get fixed for your version of the OS. If you really, really, want to see what's causing the issue then you will need to use an utility such as CatLog and start monitoring for errors right before the error and stop monitoring after the error.. That will tell you what's causing the issue but won't fix it. You can post the log here if you know how to capture it.

Problem in system app updater

Hello guys i am on Miui 11.0.3.0 (Redmi note 5 pro indian version) and whenever i check for system app updater it doesn't show system launcher updater as it used to show earlier. I've tried flashing again via fastboot several times still the problem persists.
I know i can sideload the apk update but it must show an update itself.
One time it showed the update but when i reinstalled miui after having a custom rom experience it disappeared again.

Question Work profile not working after oxygen OS 13(LE2121_11_F.16) update

I updated to oxygen OS 13 LE2121_11_F.16 last week via local install, downloaded the package from Oxygen Updater. Upon successful update, did a factor reset and tried re-installing the apps in the new setup, but upon adding my work email(Google workspace) I am not redirected to create a work profile or notified of anything related to work profile creation.
Note: I had my work profile set in my oxygen OS 12. Anyone faced similar issue? Need help to resolve.
