Hi! I have a water problem for my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and I am trying to find the schematic to repair it. Does anyone has the schematics to share them?
Thank you!
isn't this phone a bit waterproof?
someone submerged it for a minute plus & it still function normally...
I think the Circuit Board(PCB) has had a waterproof coating, I also bought an dust plug for the headphone and usb-c socket that should keep a bit extra water out as well.

Hey guys so unfortunately my faithful Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML I think) is dying on me. A few months ago my headphone jack stopped working, I would have to hold headphones still so they would work. I dealt with this by using BT headphones and was able to get by OK. But tonight my charge port is doing the same thing and I just want to fix it. My phone is no longer covered (as far as I am aware) by the warranty. Any ideas on how to repair?
Its simple. Buy something like this:
Original USB Dock Charger for ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML ZE550ML Data Transfer Charging Port Microphone Module Board Replacement
http://s.aliexpress.com/ZvIbeIBR
(from AliExpress Android)
Get the manual from yt or pdf

Did you try to look up for pinouts for this connectors and just guide manually wires from battery/antenna to pads?
To connect battery which points is what? Since battery have only two wires and above ripped off connector showing 8 points so need to know which point is + red wire point and which one is - black wire point, if you know how to do this i will highly appreciated,
Thanks.
That sliver-thin middle piece within the charging port...
Just seems to be that with the supplied case and cable, if you don't insert the USB-C plug angled just right and you're not careful you'll hit that piece and possibly break it. If I'm not mistaken that piece is a vital component, right?
If it is the the Samsung phone is going to be short-lived.
This coupled by the fact that the phone's signal is poor is really pushing me to return the phone. Unfortunately, I purchased the phone from an Ebay seller who charges a 25% restocking fee. I will have to seriously consider the options here.
Most people don't have any issues with USB-c ports. I, on the other hand - and I really believe I'm very careful having never had issues before USB-c arrived on the scene - managed to break the port on a hi8 pro tablet, a Vernee Apollo phone and my old Samsung S8. So umm...yes, in my experience USB-c is fragile as ****. Lol.
Ello, I'm a temporary user having to put up with this thing... Came from an Axon7 which I shattered the screen of for the 2nd time, so a friend gave me his (mildly shattered touchscreen) honor 7x to use for now. i want to die honestly...
Yesterday the usb cable started wiggling up and down and it only charged when at a right angle. thought it was the usb port, after taking the phone apart it was perfect, no problems.
So I guess there's a small piece of plastic on the aluminum case that guides the connector or something? Can anyone take a pic of the micro usb?

Did you take a sewing needle and make sure the port is clean. Mine was full of trash and slow charging very similar to your discription

No, my description was a wiggling port. I don't even have fast charge since i don't have the original charger, i was using my qc3 charger and it barely uses 10w out of the 18w.
Took it apart to see if I had to resolder or replace the port, and it was fine. after reassembling it was okay
i miss usb-c

The port itself wigglin? My cords was wigglin inside the port due to so much lint and such built up in it

the daughterboard, pretty much. I thought there might have been a reinforcement that came off or something unlikely like that
Hi! I am using POCO F3 International Global version. The charger I got is so slim, it doesn't properly fit in the socket. I used this charger for 2 months and I noticed some corrosion (small spots) on the charger pins.
I also have a Redmi Note 10. It has a 33 W charger and pins are thick, properly fit in the socket. Can I charge my Poco F3 with that charger?
Yes, you can.
