Did you try to look up for pinouts for this connectors and just guide manually wires from battery/antenna to pads?
To connect battery which points is what? Since battery have only two wires and above ripped off connector showing 8 points so need to know which point is + red wire point and which one is - black wire point, if you know how to do this i will highly appreciated,
Thanks.

I suggest you try to post a Wanted ad in the Marketplace section. If anyone has one to offer, that's your best chance.
I´m sure I saw today someone selling Universal parts, not sure if motherboard...

You may use some thin cable (to use as jumper) in case the pads are broken and connect to nearest point.
Also you can buy a cheap card reader which has the same mini-usb connector. Desolder it and connect to the uni if your usb connector itself is broken.
the USB connector itself is sold on eBay for around $5, works very well on Uni or any device with the same connector. However, if the pads are damaged, it might be impossible to have one reattached.
I can offer Mda Pro's motherboard. Working good. Once fell down and display was damaged..
Message me if good for you.
yeah, some of the pads a fubar, thanks for the help people
Broken USB repair
I notice you live in the UK, I can fix the USB connector for you. Even if the pads are missing there are some test points on the board that you can solder fine wires to. I have done half a dozen of these repairs so far, this seems to be the most common problem with the Uni, even more so than borken screens. One of these days I'll have to do a 'how to' guide for it.
that would be nice, my soldering skills are up to the job, i just dont know how too, if you drop me a pm or something we can discuss it further
thanks
Guys, if you could jot down what you do and perhaps a piccy of the solder points, this would be great to put in the Wiki.
Hello people,
If its any help, my usb connection came off twice. both times it was resoldered back on with a standard soldering iron with the tip made to a point, and it still works OK. I found it easy to do, just needs a steady hand.

thats all well and good. but the copper pads that are used to solder the connector to the mainboard are fubar, so no amount of soldering will help
Hi all, sorry for my bad english first, I broke my vivo tab rt so I tried to self repair with lcd+digi assembly, but I pinned 2 cables into lcd and boards but not working now(display just lights, but I cant see anything on screen, I think I plugged cable wrong. please help me!
p.s.: I have pulled boards for plug the lcd cables, is this ok?
well for a start in that second picture you can clearly see contacts on the board and casing which should be connected.
Anywho, those flexi ribbon cables are not designed for user interaction. They are placed at installation only, they are *very* delicate if not handled with care. Damage to those could easily cause your issue, or a poor insertion to the socket.
thanks to ur post

I have a Nexus 7 2013 16GB Wifi Model, and i bought it to a local repair shop. But it seems i was ripped off as the repairman could not repair it.
I noticed that some of the circuits are missing from my Nexus Logic board and Nexus no longer boots up.
Can anyone please help me determine these circuits? Here is a picture of the logic board.
All that is marked with a yellow star in the picture is what i am asking about...
Code:
drive.google.com/open?id=0B7LGwJIcFvH1WUtyNWZSTnhYRFU
And also are these parts important? Will the tablet work even without it? Where could i get a replacement of these parts?
Thanks in advance.
P.S Sorry for bad ernglish
What was the original problem? What is the board's revision number?
If it is rev.1.4 and the components are unsoldered/missing, then you were indeed ripped off.

The problem was that my nexus was charging really slowly but i didn't really put much attention to it. Then one day while charging my nexus i accidentally dropped it and the charging port went loose so i sent it to a local repair shop to fix the port.
The repairman said the charging ic was also the problem. but then after a few days they still couldn't repair my tablet.
They returned it looking like a mess.
battery wires were a bit chipped off. (No problem here, i used a tester if it still has a connection to the board)
the charging port was soldered upside down.
copper pads covering the circuit was removed.
some of the plastic parts on the speaker looked melted probably due to the solder mishandling.
So is there still a solution to the missing chips?
BTW. Thanks for the reply.! :good:

The charging IC is probably gone if the port was soldered upside down and powered up. The missing components can not be identified because N7/13 circuit diagram is not available. A working, second-hand N7 motherboard can be purchased for $25 on eBay and it's the cheapest solution. Let us know how it goes....
:fingers-crossed:
Oh ... so it's really busted huh. Thanks for helping me out.
But buying another logic board isn't one of the options i have.
I guess that i'll have to sell it somewhere then.
Thanks again.!

Sell the daughterboard after you fix the port, it only has the touch IC and should be good. Those are worth quite a bit. So are the screens especially if you include the frame. Just selling those separately should be enough to get you a n7 2012 or even a 2013 if you get lucky.
Hey guys so unfortunately my faithful Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML I think) is dying on me. A few months ago my headphone jack stopped working, I would have to hold headphones still so they would work. I dealt with this by using BT headphones and was able to get by OK. But tonight my charge port is doing the same thing and I just want to fix it. My phone is no longer covered (as far as I am aware) by the warranty. Any ideas on how to repair?
Its simple. Buy something like this:
Original USB Dock Charger for ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML ZE550ML Data Transfer Charging Port Microphone Module Board Replacement
http://s.aliexpress.com/ZvIbeIBR
(from AliExpress Android)
Get the manual from yt or pdf

WOW! I honestly didn't expect anyone to sell anything like that! Any possible solution for my headphone jack though?
hi,
i saw lot of threads/talks/vids online regarding the difference between the 2 available charging board flex and guidance regarding which one to buy, but i saw nowhere any explanation what are the actual antennas connected to this board are for.
does anybody know?
I've bought the wrong board (single antenna) before i knew there are 2 kinds.
I've connected only the white cable and checked phone. GPS won't work.
my follow question is - is it possible to dislove the antenna connector and the ground from the bad old board and assemble them to the new one?
thanks
