Custom alarm song? - Samsung Galaxy Watch

Is there a way to possibly set a song as an alarm preferably an mp3 file rather than using the stock ringtones? I'm down to download alternative app alarms if they have this function.

Yes, there is an app in the store "Alarm with custom ringtones". I use it on my Gear S3. After I don't know the availability for countries and Galaxy model because this is really strange on the Samsung world.....

[Q] Change Default Alarm Application

I have Googled the **** out of this question and can't find an answer even though it seems ridiculously simple:
I want to make the DEFAULT alarm app a DIFFERENT app than the one that comes stock with Android. Is that possible? I can't figure it out and every other forum I look at where someone asks a similar question does not have the answer. I'm going CRAZY. Help!
Ever find an answer? I've been looking as well.
Try deleting the stock clock and add a different alarm app

I was having the same problem and found a way around it. I use Timely, however whenever I use "OK Google" it would use the default Clock application on my 6P instead of Timely. I fixed this by going to Settings > Apps > Clock. Then I tap the Disable button. Android ask if I wanted to revert to the default app, and I selected OK.
The next time I used "OK Google" to set an alarm, it asked me to set Timely as the default.

[Request] Alarm application that triggers an un-shuffled playlist

Hello,
I am looking for an alarm app that will allow my to play an ordered playlist. I have found that numerous apps including Alarm Clock Plus, Alarm Clock Extreme, the default alarm clock, as well as many others are unable to pull this off. The ones that offer to play from a playlist automatically shuffle the songs.
My wake up playlist is:
1)Edvard Grieg's "Morning Mood.
2)Radiohead – “No Surprises”
3)Flight of the Valkyries
If you are familiar with these songs then you will know that it is basically a slow build up from a serene atmosphere to onw with lots of energy. The best idea I can come up with is setting 3 different alarms, however, this is time consuming and too complex logistically (I prefer steamlined utilities).
I look forward to your suggestions.
Thanks!
I like this idea. If you need that many wake up calls, maybe you should try n get more sleep.

I am a heavy sleeper. I don't want individual alerts, I want a gradual change in energy by playing one song after the next. The serene song would wake me, second would start building the momentum, and the third would then really get me up and going. All in all it is like 10 minutes.
I just want the alarm to trigger the playlist instead of listening to a single song.
Why not join the three files into one new one?

Because it would be too easy!
I don't want to join music files together every time I add new music to the playlists.
Tasker? Set a specific task to play a play list?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy App Store, where is it?

So I have a stock unrooted Note 4. On TouchWiz I have two widgets, Galaxy Apps Essentials, and Galaxy Apps Gifts, both of these widgets take me to a page showing some apps, and then there is a see more Galaxy Apps link at the bottom. Clicking that link takes me to Samsungs App store. I can not find an App just for the Galaxy App Store though. Is there suppose to be one? Is there a way to get to it that I don't know? On my Note 10.1 2014 there is a Galaxy App store apk and app installed that lets me update these apps.
Going to the Samsung page to download the APK like I found elsewhere, there is nothing there for my phone.
Any ideas? Right now I want to use a non stock launcher, but that disables the widgets to get to the store.
As you indicated, you likely have to be using the stock TouchWiz launcher and place the Samsung Apps widget on one of your homescreens. At least, that's the only way I've been able to access the Samsung app store.

Seems weird. Like I mentioned, on my Note 10.1 2014 edition tab, there is just a Galaxy App store application that I can run. I tried to install it on my phone.. bad idea.. So is the only way to access the app store literally through a widget? That seems bad, cause I don't want to waste a spot on a screen for a widget....
The Note 3 had an apps store shortcut in the app drawer. Don't know why but they only included the widget on my Note 4. I believe that with the Note 4 Samsung has begun de-bloating their mobile devices and I'm guessing removing the shortcut is a result of that.

You can download the apk on the Web. That's what I did

I got it on the web too. I think it's apps.Samsung.com
Edit: they changed that page. Idiots.

How please tell me!!
Yeah, Verizon strips the Galaxy Apps shortcut out of all of their Samsung devices. You can get to it through the Galaxy Apps widget, or by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner of the apps screen and selecting "Galaxy Essentials".
Or you can download the full version of Galaxy Apps from http://apps.samsung.com/jupiter/mw/apk_en.as
Once downloaded and installed, you'll see Galaxy Apps displayed with the rest of your apps.

Unlocked Bootloader Workaround

Hi,
Recently I have bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the problem is that the Galaxy Wearable app not available in my Play Store. After searching through the net, some advice from Reddit found that the culprit is my unlocked bootloader (probably the cause is the built-in Samsung Pay). With a little help from apkmirror, I have found a workaround for this issue and hope it helps someone have the same situation as me.
Step 1: Download Galaxy Wearable app at https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-gear/
Step 2 (important): Download Galaxy Watch Plugin https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/galaxy-watch-plugin/
After pairing the Galaxy Watch with the phone, the Galaxy Wearable app will automatically download Samsung Accessory Service app and finish the process. You're now good to go. Cheers
P/S: One down-side of this workaround is that you have to update these apps manually.

As far as I know, most of the Samsung app can be updated if go to Settings->About screen. Wearable app is one of them.

That only opens the Play Store page for the app.

Nope, I have tried it. If you have an unlocked bootloader, only the Samsung Accessory Service can be updated. The other two aren't available on Play Store so it's a no-go
It's available to me, and I have unlocked my bootloader on my Moto G5+. This could be more specifically about passing Safetynet, though this is just a guess.
I've been looking all over for this, big thanks!
Samsung Pay
Any workaround to use Samsung Pay with Galaxy Watch while the bootloader of the phone is unlocked?
PS: Non-Samsung Phone, No root, Galaxy Watch LTE.
Hi,
I have a Mi Max 3 6gb/128gb Chinese phone with an unlocked bootloader and Global Rom.
It is MIUI version 10.3.5.0 and Android 9 PKQ1.181007.001.
I have bought a Galaxy Active Watch 2, and am confused slightly about the correct way to get this working.
Does installing the apps from apkmirror as stated above always work?
Is the problem that the unlocked bootloader stops the app from being downloaded from the play store, and thus if you get the app elsewhere it will work?
Or is the problem that the app itself detects the unlocked bootloader? OR, is it that it all works if you load from another source, but the Samsung Pay part (I don't care much about this) won't work?
I have read that the only way to do this is to relock the bootloader (don't want to do as my phone will apparently brick itself if I do an OTA update) or to root and install Magisk, which I don't really want to do.
Any help/clarifications appreciated,
Thanks so much.

Alarm set on mobile is not visible on galaxy watch

Last update broke the Alarm app on the galaxy watch, up until recently I used to be able to view and modify alarms set on mobile via the galaxy watch but since the update this doesn't work anymore.
Anyway to downgrade the alarm app, what are alternative places where I could download and install this app.

I recently bought a watch and did not even know what such an opportunity was. It would be nice if she reappeared.
Unfortunately, yes, the update broke it. Just download the alarm application from somewhere like apkmirror. Unfortunately, I can't find APK for watches.:crying:
