My redmi note 8pro dropped to the floor and the lcd was damaged.
So I sent it to the service center and they tested with new lcd(1 or more).
They told me lcd is working perfectly but touch didn't respond.
They said again touch is not working because phone's CPU is damaged.
And then I search the solution of touch screen didn't respond on Google Search.
I found many solution of touch scrreen didn't respond with software error and hardware error.
Example:
(-touch screen not working on miui 11 and they downgrade the firmware and touch screen work perfectly again.
-Also they wrote to make reboot the phone and touch screen work perfectly again.)
So I think my phone touch screen is not working because of firmware error.
Is this possible?
Or touch screen is not working by hardware issues?
If it not working by hardware issues, can I fix it?
How do you think?
Please write down the comment of your though.
Sorry for my bad English.

my htc wildfire had an accident resulting in a broken touchscreen (front glass) i bought a new one and i replaced it because i didn't want to spend too much money
now the touchscreen its working cept the top part (where the notification bar is) its unresponsive to touch so i contacted the shop and they said i should do a reflash (which didn't help im currently using cyanogenmod last stable version) or i should find a touchscreen calibration tool to recalibrate my touchscreen which after many hours of searching i was unable to find
now does someone know about such tool or is this a calibration problem or the new touchscreen its also broken ?
any suggestion its appreciated

Now it is working properly
Hi all !!!
I have an ONE X for a month and no matter what i did the touch is way off , the bottom screen is completely unresponsive .
Is there anyway to fix it ???
Hardware fault, I believe. I've never heard of a capacitive panel that needed calibration before, anyway...
if my friends have an original rom
is there anyway to extract it so i can install it on my device ?
Hello guys my gnex started to behave weird. Whole LCD and digitizer is working, touch sensitive, but sometimes it starts to make 2-3 touch points on screen just by it self. I tried tp reflash it via odin, without any success, it still does the same.
Now i don't know if it's HW or SW issue, because digitizer looks ok. Any idea?
Hi all!
I have a 2.5 years old LG G3 black and since Saturday the touch screen doesn't work very well.
When I unlock the phone the touch screen works fine a few seconds (2-5) but then suddenly it doesn't response to my touches, no touch feedback at all. It seems like it freezes... But the rotation and volume settings by the hardware buttons work fine all the time, even if the touch doesn't react .
I did factory reset and brought it to the repair service, they told it's the display and replaced the whole front part of my phone, but after couple of hours using it, the problem appeared again... No idea why, maybe it's a software problem and a reset to kitkat or an older version would help, but I haven't done any software update for a long time, so I don't think it has been caused by an unstable update or similar...
Using Android 6.0 the official one, no ROM.
Do you guys have any idea ?
Thanks a lot for help.
i got gifted a broken samsung note 8 and i wanted to see how much i could repair it to, and the only problem I'm left with is touchscreen not working
touchscreen doesn't work at all in the system, S-pen works fine, and i thought this is an issue with the LCD
but the touchscreen works when I'm in TWRP, so idk what is causing the touchscreen to be unresponsive in the system?
lf help on how to get touchscreen working in system, thanks!
