[Q]Gnex touch issue - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello guys my gnex started to behave weird. Whole LCD and digitizer is working, touch sensitive, but sometimes it starts to make 2-3 touch points on screen just by it self. I tried tp reflash it via odin, without any success, it still does the same.
Now i don't know if it's HW or SW issue, because digitizer looks ok. Any idea?

Strange HTC 8525 Problem

Hi I'm new to this whole PDA phone thing but I got a HTC 8525 and got it unlocked it worked fine for a while then one day I was trying to run the pocketGBA emulator when my screen went blank(all the colour faded away then the entire screen just went blank). I took it to get repaired and the software end of things are fine and the hardware end is working fine but for some odd reason the screen just lights up and is completly blank. Even stranger is that sometimes the screen is totally fine and has no problems. Can anybody help me with this weird problem??? Note the screen is not broken.
Hi!
Probably You have a bad flex cable and it's required to be changed. Sometimes it happens so of to much qwerty keyboard opening and closing.
hi,
I resolved same problem than yours with this tuto

[Q] Dysfunctional Touch Screen

Recently, my touchscreen has been either registering random presses about 2/3 of the way up the screen, not registering touches at all, or registering double touches wherever I touch. Before I bring this in, any ideas on something to try? I cannot remember anything that would have caused it like drops or water damage.
Note: My phone is rooted, but I have tried different roms and kernels to make sure that wasn't the issue.
menu from the home screen...settings...language and keyboard...touch input...text input...calibration tool.
You can download Dotty from the market, not the game one. That will let you know exactly where the problem area(s) is(are). The right edge of my screen messed with me for some time before finally not working at all. It would cause all sorts of funky keyboard mistypes, repeated letters and such. Sent it to HTC last thursday, they replaced the screen and I should have it back by the 20th. Covered by warranty so no charge too! I believe my digitizer went bad?
Could also just be a widget causing the problem as I've heard they can somehow screw with the touch input. Faulty digitzers don't seem to be too common...
I should have mentioned that I did the screen calibration, but thanks for that tip. Well I used Dotty and Screen Test and they both confirmed the issue, so I sent it in. Thanks for the help.

[Q] touchscreen sometimes not responding

2 weeks ago I broke my screen on my n7100. I was lucky and my touch screen was not broken. I have repaired the screen and it's working again. But now I have the following issue. Very often my touch screen freezes out of the blue. Nothing works on the screen. I have to turn it off (not completely) and when I push the home button everything works again.
Does anyone know how to fix this? In my opinion it cant be the new screen, because it emidatedly works again after switching on and of as explained above.
How can help?
Other question. Is my warranty now void once I have repaired the screen my self?

[Q] Touch screen not responding

I have a problem with my touch screen.. Sometimes it just not responding any of my inputs and sometimes it just "touch" anything he wants without me touching it.. first place it happened was while charging it with a "chinese 5v/1.2A" charger because i don't know why my original charger exploded.. (It was so loud that i thought something hit the ground..)
The problem dissapeared when i stop charging the phone.. until 2 days ago..
I was undervolting the cpu a little and when i finished the test (with no errors..) my screen when unresponsive at all.. the power and volume buttons worked, even the hardware buttons in the front but the screen wasn't working at all.. Turning the screen on and off for a while do the trick but only for a few seconds..
It happened in stock rom and artmod rom.. but i don't remember too well if in stock rom i was in solid kernel too or not so.. I really don't know if it's hardware of software problem..
Any help please.. ?
I had similar problem + ghost touch with my LG and I think that the problem is hardware.
The resolve of the problem is changing the display ( like most people with the same problem).
In my case after the replacment I have Ghost touch and wondering is this hardware or software problem.
thx i will have to deal with the problems until i have money to repair it.. uwuU..

Right side of screen partly unresponsive to touch

After I replaced the the whole screen assembly, about 2 cm of the screens right side is almost unresponsive to touch.
It always works, if i touch a spot on the screen that works 100% and then immediately after that touch a spot on the rigtht side.
Sometimes it also register a touch if I try like 10 times.
Could this be software? The phone is not rooted og flashed. I have tried to restore to factory defaults. I'm thinking maybe I could get lucky with a different ROM/Kernel?
I'm also wondering if it is a loose connection to the digitizer? But the I think its wierd that it works when I first "Activate" the screen by touching it on another spot first.
I hope someone can come up with some ideas to try before I open it up again, as it is quite hard to get appart, and I'm worried to brake the new screen.

have the same problem, and i dont think its a software problem you can test the touch screen by using htc help app go to : hardware misbehaving / hardware diagnostics / line drawing test you can view it by drawing lines on screen
have you found a solution to the above problem?
