I know I am not the only one who wants iOS notifications on the Moto360. Notifications were made capable with jailbroken iPhones onto the Galaxy Gear via "CloudNotifier" so with reasonable effort, a port to Android Wear platform should absolutely be possible.
The Moto360 is an incredibly sexy piece of hardware. I would absolutely pay for a jailbreak tweak that enabled this functionality. I'm surprised that this hasn't happened yet for the first two AW watches.
Anybody know anything about development of this?

Actually, you can already set some recipes involving iOS and Android Wear using IFTTT (dot com, dashboard, and then you explore the channels available)
Regards.
Hello all moto 360 users
I am sure this is somewhere on the forums but a normal search did not show it ( and I am happy to take links).
I want to know if there are any efforts to make an App that can act as a bridge for Moto360 on iOS.
Basic functionality would do (like just acting as a bridge for internet).
Side-loading should be an option too
Thanks!!
Why would Google want any integration with iOS? There are already more Android devices out there than iOS so its not like they need iPhone users buying their watches, especially as Apple have their own watch coming out. Even if such an app existed I don't think Apple would allow it onto the Apple Store.
I might be completely wrong, in which case I apologise, but I think you'll find this is a no go. Just get yourself an Android phone, you can get one cheap nowadays

I don't think he was looking for an official app, just a work-around...
I'm pretty sure they got the Gear working to some extent with iPhone, but I haven't seen anything for Android Wear...
He's right, though - you should get an Android phone [emoji106]
Much more fun [emoji12]
Thanks for the reply.
With Microsoft going multi-platform, it would make sense that others may want to steal some market-share way too.
Again, looking for more of a bridge than a tight integration and with Google promoting openness and all, I thought it should be possible to get the Stack and drivers for wear and port it to iOS.
Anyways, I will keep looking.
Take inbox, google now, google maps, they are all over iOS.
Google is ready to make android wear compatible with ios. ..but apple wouldn't let that happen

Simple solution. Throw away that iOS device and pick a real smartphone (i.e., HTC one M8 GPE)

Thanks for all the tips that I didn't ask for
I know I can get a moto, htc, nexus etc and it will work, this I hope is a no-brainer.
What I wanted to see if there are some skilled Android developers out there wanting to hack it to work (again side-load, or jailbreak).
I am well aware that I can just get a google phone to work with the google watches, similar to that Samsung did with with their first Gear and similar to what Apple will do with the watch.
I have some suspicion that the Apple Watch will be made to work with Google android one way or the other so there is little difference (if you consider side-loading).
Thanks.
Android devs are skilled. .no doubt. .but will not waste their time in something which apple will not approve and then file cases against them..

Those of you suggesting to get an android phone are not thinking this through. There are millions of people who use iPhones, and the app marketplace is thriving. Why wouldn't iPhone users want to use Android Wear watches? Using an android tablet for configuration of the watch is inconvenient, but for many would not be a deal breaker. But don't expect iPhone users to carry around an extra phone just so their watch will display notifications.
Google and Microsoft are both spending significant resources to support iPhone users. Displaying iPhone notifications on Android Wear devices seems like a really useful thing to me.
These iOS users will just buy the iWatch !

Then why do you think Android Wear doesn't support iOS?
You're right of course, it would be great for people with iphones who want more choice... I have an iPhone for work, so I wish I could pair both with the 360...
Its possible to pair two devices to the Moto 360.
I have two phones and I successfully connected my Moto 360 with Notifications on my iPhone.

Wow, that looks amazing, how do I install the app?
Do you need Beta testers

Hi,
I recently bought a new Huawei watch GT in Israel.
I updated it to the latest version that Huawei Health is offering me which is 1.0.5.34. With the help of a simple google search I saw that people around the world already have a much newer Lite OS versions with performance updates, new watch faces and so on...
I want these updates too. Why haven't I got them? What can I do in order to get them?
You can change Region to Malaisia to have new watch

New faces and other stuff coming soon
A Beta health app is available in China. i have links to the APK but need 10 posts before sharing. keep an eye on my posts. There Pollen club is ripe with new stuff for the GT!!!
Does anybody know what is the name of the watchface advertised on the galaxy watch 42mm version on the box? Thank you.
Do you mean Analog Utility by Samsung?
Having had my Fold3 a few weeks now, I'm saddened that there are so few apps out there to take advantage of the Fold series, given this is the 3rd iteration. I would like to try to change that and start work on a new Fold focused app or collection of utils. I'm curious what some ideas you folks might have for something you think the Fold would be great for/at, but an app does not yet exist to leverage it.
I'm legit *not* trying to make a buck here. I'd release everything open source for everyone's benefit and to improve upon, but I'd love to get the ball rolling on one or more great ideas.
What would you love to see on the Fold series?
(RIP beloved Note Series; long live the Foldables!)
It sounds very good, thanks!
I get my Fold3 upcoming week so I have no knowledge about apps behaviour for now.
they need to enable dex on the phone itself
