Best ROM for Performance and stability [OP3] - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

I don't care about look and new features.
I want pure performance and Stability?
What do you suggest?

Stability - OOS 5.0.8 has the best stability.
Performance: Try mcd EAS based kernel with blu_schedutil governor set on both little and big cores, let the kernel settle in for 2 3 cycles and experience awesomeness. The phone is more fluid that stock OOS kernel.

Faux Kernel, do you use it? Why?

Just want to know why some of you use Faux kernel. It seems to be the most mentioned one , at least from what i've read so far.
On the latest base roms, is it more battery as well as performance efficient in your opinion? Any other reasons you use it?
I've only had faux kernel on my HoX for not even a day so far so it's hard for me to be the judge and i'm interested. Thanks
With Faux's kernel you'll have better performances than stock kernel, but stock has better stability and battery life.
It's because faux's kernel has the latest nVidia drivers for Tegra 3, as well as a GPU overclock for better gaming performance I've been using faux lately, and still testing battery usage on normal daily usage.

Share your Rom and Mods and Kernel [PME]

Hello everyone...please share what you are running on your phone and let everybody knows how they are And let's Discuss about Roms and Mods for our phone!
Tell us about batterylife...performance...stablity...and others
I personally am running viper 10 v5.0.0 with elite kernel build 12/9/16 and @ivicask pnp tweak and have great batterylife (about 6:30 SOT) performance is average because of excellent batterylife so cpu and gpu performance is been reduced!

what's the best rom for our s9 depending on usage

Hello
this thread is like a poll
this thread can be useful for ppl like me
i wanna know which custom rom+kernel combination (linOs/aosp based roms, treble rom, customized stock rom+ all kernels of our s9 including stock kernel), depending on each user, is better for a daily use.
so in your opinion ,
whats the the best rom+kernel that gives more than 5/6h of sot, without decreasing too much performance ?
whats the best rom+ kernel that gives an amazing performance and gives a new experience for the user?
whats the best rom+ kernel that gives more stability for the user (other than stock) and a balanced battery life+ performance ?
-Personally, im using stock brf8 with apkg kernel and the highest sot i got is 5h20min.
i hope all of you will interact with this thread, so as to give a better idea of s9 development
thank you.

CITRUS CAF vs VIPER OS??

which one is better in battery life, performance, stability, heat management, ram management, etc.
(only those who have tried BOTH should reply)
For Gaming Try Citrus Caf 3.5 by miju ? was amazing...
To get better performance
flash heliox kernel 15-10-2017 & boost everything V13 (I tried this one and gives amazing performance you can also try latest version )
use sun cooling mod 4.4 for less heating ????

Best custom kernel for OP5T as of now

Anyone knows which kernel is the best ( In terms of stability, battery life, and performance) for 5t as for 2019. So far I only experienced FrancoKernel, Blu_spark, Renderzenith. Based on my research and as I've talked to some people. Mostly they recommend Renderzernith kernel. Any recommendations?

If you want best battery life than stock, if you want best performance than RenderZenieth, Franco not updated and have a wakelock that doesn't let device sleep, Blu spark is more laggy than stock kernel and doesn't even more battery life. Honestly kernel development is very slow now.

Imho currently stock kernel is the best for me - all custom kernels seem to be problematic currently like frequencies locking up (cores not sleeping, clocking up or down).
perf kernel (aka stock). π-kernel was good for a while but development seems to have stopped for the time being. Hmp based kernels (e.g., π-kernel or SimpleGX) have given me better battery life and fewer lag issues than some of the EAS kernels (e.g., RenderZenith). Some people swear that EAS is better, but IMHO that only holds true if the rom has been optimized for it, which stock OOS has not.
