This is simply a collection of information with some blanks filled in to allow those not as well versed in huawei/ADB as myself to rebrand. After 4 days of agony with Funkyhuawei and very little info i managed to resolve the issue myself. Primarilly, rebranding from pie on their toolkit would not work and i did not feel comfortable rebranding the more involved ways explained on here here.
You will need a membership to FH and credits. Also to have selected the same version eg 8.0.0.159 for the TARGET region. for me, i was c782 but rebranding to c432 so selected clt-l09c432 8.0.0.159
It is written with the intention of using FHRebrandTool2, as this one allows you to remain as CLT-L09 if that is your model, not force a switch to L29 even without dual sim
First, obviously, if you cant/havent unlcked FRP and bootloader, stop reading now. You're process is finished lol
Second, remove all security pins and fingerprints (developer options>require to be unlocked>off)
If you are on pie, use this incredibly simple automated script setup from @Androlark thank you my friend for this as you saved me here https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?ur...share_tid=3841687&share_fid=3793&share_type=t this is necessary as rebrandtool does not operate correctly with android 9 but fh instructions and even FH help are unclear on
For the correct software, download your latest android 8 version from Firmware Finder, taking note of the changelog, the flashing requires older update version with THREE folders, the giveaway is the changelog says "this will rollback your device to emui8" (dont rollback using Hisuite, as it itself advises not to if device unlocked. When selecting download in FF you may be presented with a list of many folders, most with the same name, simply click one of each name (update, public and cltxxxxxhw) transfer these to your phone after checking "check availability by imei" and doublechecking you have selected the correct region (C782,c432 etc)
Before flashing, to save panic, READ "AFTER FLASH INSTRUCTIONS" in flashy folder of extracted flashtool downloaded from above.
Follow post and flash.bat instructions and its all automated.
Factory Reset as advised when complete
Wahey you're back on old faithful Oreo and still device unlocked
Now startup device, complete basic setup to access menu, ensure adb AND allow adb during charge mode are on (this helps stop adb turning back off at restart in some cases) ensure to forget any wifi connection you used during setup
Back to fastboot (device off, hold power down, connect cable to computer) once loaded run FHRebrandTool2 again, being careful if you use manual entry to assign new model and region
Once complete and you restart you will keep getting connect usb to continue rebrand dont panic, hold power until shutdown then hold volume down and connect usb to computer again, you will get Erecovery. Select Install latest package and use the FunkyHuawei instruction from here, EG change DNS on router or use a computer as a hotspot to install new region software and wait.........wait.........wait.........funkyhuaweis carrier pidgeons are a bit slow
Rebranded and update back to pie and enjoy the precious security updates
Proof is in the pudding [emoji16] currently waiting on hisuite downloading my first update to 161

The B.United 3 is a recently released handset from the company Be (owned by EMS), aimed at emerging markets and currently available in several countries including Poland, where I bought my handset. The company website offers next to no technical support, so be very careful when doing modifications to the software! Software damage is not covered under warranty and there are no official tools to repair broken software and it doesn't look like there ever will be. We can only hope that some crafty person performs a ROM Dump of the stock firmware just in case.
Fun facts:
a) The device does have some sort of factory recovery menu. The catch is that it's entirely in chinese. It's accessed by switching off the phone and then pressing and holding the vol- button as you turn it back on. Unfortunately I don't know chinese so I have no clue what any of the menu items are, but If anyone's interested I can upload a photo of the items in the menu for translation. Once you root your device and enable the option to reboot into recovery, you can access the Android Recovery Menu (that one is in english). The vol+ button is the Enter key and you can scroll down the menu with the vol- button, Home button does nothing and the power button hides all text for some reason. I'm sure there's a key combination to access the recovery mode without rooting, I haven't discovered it yet.
b) As mentioned earlier, the warranty is instantly void once you root your device. You can get it back by unrooting and uninstalling any modifications you made to the system. Thus it is not reccomended to uninstall system apps.
c) I am not responsible if you somehow brick your phone! This worked for my phone but I cannot guarantee that it will work for yours. If you follow this guide, you're doing it at your own risk!
d) The software and hardware configuration may vary from device to device. It happens with these small unknown manufacturers. This method may even brick your phone so remember to proceed with caution, make a backup and hope for the best.
PREREQUISITES:
1. Enabled Unknown Sources
2. Enabled ADB (just in case!)
This short guide will show you how to quickly and painlessly root this rather capable device. The steps are are as follows:
1. Enable installation of non-market apps.
2. Download Framaroot from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/framaroot/root-framaroot-one-click-apk-to-root-t2130276
3. Run Framaroot, and perform the Barahir exploit if available. Boromir will not work.
4. Reboot and voila! Your B.United 3 is now rooted!
Feel free to install Busybox after you've rooted and enjoy your newfound capabilities!
EDIT: I am in the process of a ROM Dump, I will post results soon enough.
Brick

Some people may have never heard of developermenu.efi, it's an efi application Microsoft mostly uses on test devices which allows you to do many things, here are the main highlights:
Note: if some people have a problem with getting this efi to display something, please use this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10-mobile/exe-binaries-binaries-w10m-oem-kit-t3476453
Enter Mass Storage mode directly on the phone without the need of a computer.
Delete and dump the UEFI variable storage from the phone (be careful with this you can easily cause problems).
Tickle the battery to 0% (useful for re-calibration).
This EFI application is test signed, this means you must run it on an unlocked device.

It's also the latest available (from 15254.158).
You can create a new entry in BCD for a new bootapplication and reference it in the place you did put the efi. You also must make sure you turn on nointegritychecks on it because it's test signed.
For reference here's what Microsoft actually does to BCD when installing it (aside from nointegritychecks):
You must place the files attached in EFIESP\windows\system32\boot\
Provided are also the latest bmpx files which enables graphical status when you're in mass storage (also works when switched using WPInternals).
L630DS work fine but I don't see anythynk, just black screen.
PS: tried use different devmenu efi(from this post) and it work and display.

What doesn't display? The menu or when you enter the mass storage section? That efi should defintely work except maybe on rs2+, didn't check everything but I vaguely remember MS breaking feature manifest policies with rs2.

I can't actually make a tutorial now because each people have their own way of loading entries from bootmgr, but I have planned making a whole post about bootmgr and bcd entries and how to have multiple of them on a lumia device in the future, afterwards sure.
Please make tutorial using bcdedit
I have BSOD on 950
UPD: My fault, i had efi file on wrong partition
So I do have a question on this, it is the 'Reset your phone' inside "About" that we use to open this, right? (running 10586 on a htc one m8, trying to follow your guide on unlocking the bootloader)
update: nevermind, its a hard reset and not a factory reset
I have a Huawei E5787Ph-67a which is locked to an Australian operator Telstra and have been trying to unlock the device to work with other service providers.

So far my attempts to use the various Huawei code generators posted on various forums has not been very successful as the Huawei E5787Ph-67a requires a factory code which is in 16 digit Alphanumeric format. I have even tried paid online unlocking services but they have not been able to provide me the code.
The current Firmware version: 21.235.01.00.302 and Current Web UI version: 21.100.19.00.302.
I have managed to download the factory firmware on the web which is not an update EXE file but instead a BIN file: E5787Ph-67a_UPDATE_21.235.01.00.302_WEBUI_21.100.19.00.302_NE5.bin
I managed to put it into firmware update mode using the following steps:
1. Install driver: HUAWEI PRODUCT LINE WINDRIVER 2.78.12.00
2. Press and hold Reset and power on button simultaneously.
3. On the screen you will see "ready to update" and then "Installing".
4. Now connect E5787PH-67a to PC with USB cable.
5. Wait for few seconds to install the drivers on your computer and verify the Device manager shows the Huawei device under Ports (COM & LPT).
But after doing the above I am unable to connect via Balong_USB_Downloader or dc-unlocker2client no matter which set of ports I select. I was not able to telnet or ssh into it either via Putty.
I was wondering if there was a way to edit the E5787Ph-67a_UPDATE_21.235.01.00.302_WEBUI_21.100.19.00.302_NE5.BIN file to unlock the operator restrictions and upload it to the modem.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated or any previous experience along this route with this device will be welcome.
I need this too. if you find out how to flash please tell me. regards
I have an unlocked E5787Ph-67a. Do you have a method to pull the firmware from it?
What firmware version do you have installed currently? You can see it in the web interface.
also got the same problem how to unlock ?

Hello, i have a 4gx E5787ph-67a openline but it can only be locked at BAND 28. Is there away to locked it on other BANDS like B1 only?
Hello,
I'm talking to the XDA community that I've been following for quite some time in research to find a way to unlock my bootloader.
So I've already browsed pages and pages, and I've already seen the different techniques proposed here, but I have a difference that most users seem to lack.
I have a Huawei P20 Lite AXE-LX2 phone, while the majority of people here seem to have an LX1. It is of Chinese origin, under its name Nova E3. It is currently in version EMUI 9.1.0.353(C636E4R1P5) with a security patch of July 2020.
Coming back to the bootloader, I want to unlock it by the Telegram channel or DC-Unlocker, so I need to dowgrade to an specific EMUI 8 version.
Except that I already have the EMUI 8 stocks for my device, but none for EMUI 9. On androidhost.ru, I only found an EMUI 9 archive for AXE-LX2 (https://androidhost.ru/2CNs) by a guy who runs a site called ministryofsolutions.com . By downloading it, the content is protected by a password. So I sent an email to the guy, who told me that the archive was private and not for the public, so I'll never get the password (he runs a real small business in his country).
So I'm blocked at the first step because I don't have any EMUI 9 stock for my AXE-LX2. androidhost.ru only has stocks for AXE-LX1, so those on LX2 or LX3 are literally blocked.
When I tried other sites to find firmwares, I find myself with an archive full of drivers and softwares to install, not at all in the form of the dload folder to put on an SD card.
I also found this old XDA post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/ane-lx2-9-1-0-133-c605.3944407/ , but the same, not as a stock to install from an SD card, so I don't know how to do that at all (I put in screenshot the content of the two archives of the post).

Should I take the risk to install a stock AXE-LX1? Or could someone please give me an EMUI 9 stock corresponding to my model?
Thank you
I specify that I must first downgrade to an older version of EMUI 9 because HiSuite, whether in Chinese or English version, does not offer me the possibility to downgrade with my current version.

Hi, don't try it, it may brick your phone.
Unfortunately, there's no way to download Service ROM free for your build number, only for 17euros on paid websites.
After several hours of research, I managed to find a free stock ROM for AXE-LX2 at this address :
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261804346
The installation was perfect, and I found myself with an old version of EMUI 9.1 of at least two years old I think. Unfortunately, HiSuite, Chinese version or not, didn't offer me to downgrade my version, probably still too recent, or I arrived too late. If someone has another solution to propose me, please let me know in reply.
In case the file is down, I can upload it to another service.
Otherwise to get AXE-LX2 EMUI 8 stocks, there are two of them I know of for free on androidhost.ru.
My 3 year old Moto G5 Plus running android 8 suddenly restarted two days ago and went into Start up failure. It no longer shows My product or IMEI number. It just shows potter 000000000000000 32GB P3B
Bootloader logs read " Start up failure. Your device didn't start up successfully. Use the Software Repair Assistant on computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the Software Repair Assistant" written in red.
I have my IMEI and product numbers saved on my pc in a notepad file, but the LMSA software does not recognise my device to even try to rescue it. I want to retrieve files from my phone before attempting a factory reset.
On using the LMSA, it says "lmsa doesn't match appropriate firmware. you can try to select a firmware manually" but then it has no option to select anything manually. I have my phone previously registered on the software on my PC.
I have not rooted my phone, nor used anything other than stock android. My bootloader is locked. I cannot remember if I had Developer options selected or not, most probably not.
On trying to go to recovery mode it says the same message " Start up failure. Your device didn't start up successfully. Use the Software Repair Assistant on computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the Software Repair Assistant"
When I connect the phone to the computer, it recognises it (I hear a notification sound) and under Devices it shows under Unrecognised as "Fastboot potter s"
I've never flashed my phone but would it be possible to recover the files in the internal storage of the phone by installing TWRP (in a non rooted, bootloader locked phone) without data loss?
How does it work?
Please help! I really need to recover my photos and notepad notes. Is there any way? Any software?
Please help! Please!
i have the same issue.
can someone help with that .
sharing screenshots of the same.

I'm not responsible for what you do to your device.
Have you seen this post? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-as-qhsusb_bulk.3636457/page-9#post-76035108. Also read post # 223 about trying this on a Windows 10 machine.
