Hi guys i know this is NOT the rom section, but is a question and i think the thread belongs here
i'm looking for a custom rom with these features
- extended battery life (mine is awful with the stock rom)
- increased brightness under sunlight
- smoothness (i hate the lag of the pixel)
is there a rom with these features? thank you
This is not a forum where you're spoon-fed information. You have to try a rom/kernel and see what you like. Or at the very least read each description.

This thread has links to Custom ROMS: [Guide] Pixel 3 XL Android 9.0 (Pie) Unlock/Root/Install Images/Kernels/Recovery + by homeboy76
You can read their features list in their OP (Post 1).
Wow.. spoon fed. Asking for user feedback seems like an appropriate use of the questions section of the forum, no? Every rom claims great battery and smoothness.. what's wrong with a little user input?

What is the absolute best ROM for battery and speed? It's a very simple question.
There's a million ROMS to choose from, AOSP vs. TW roms and all that, but just give me your top 3 ROMS and I'll do my best to flash them.
And by speed, I just mean no lag, and by battery, I mean extended life (with greenify, and DS battery saver and all that).
I've already tried Deviant Xone but I'm having 3G issues.
THANKS!

It's up to you to find which one works the best for you. These personal opinion questions with no answer really anger the moderators. But I really liked AOKP. It got good battery life and had good performance. I just prefer TW ROMs to AOKP/AOSP. Liquid smooth was appealing, but it had a lot of bugs for me.
1. Freeza's Deodexed Stock MD4
2. Chemistry ROM (Wait until they update it to MD4 base though) It's currently 4.1.1 with multiview.
3. AOKP

anyone else have a top 3?
No there isn't. Just try them all. Devs here put amazing time and effort into each rom that gets put out. There isn't a best one. They all are absolutely amazing.

Hi, good people of XDA.
Like me, many others users whom are new in all this customization and performance balance on Android devices (Specifically HOX), are always looking for a good custom ROM with the following aspects:
1 - Good Battery Life
2 - Smooth/Fast performance
3 - Average/good gaming performance.
4 - Customization (Eyecandy) | [Optional]
Te mean of this thread is as simple as the asnwer that people is looking for.
Many user's here are like girls in a shoe shop, they have tested every single custom ROM; and that's good. Tell us about your choice considering all the aspects above.
Let's consider 6 of the most populars ROM's over here. Please consider the performance and make your choice in the poll.
Android Revolution (Sense 4+) HD 21
Blade ELITE v1.1(Sense)
Eragon (Sense with AOSP mix)
InsertCoin (Sense)
SentinelROM (CM 10.1)
TrickDroid (Sense)
Others (Post your suggestion): Any other? Raise your voice.

Seriously man!! How can you open such topics? All developers share their roms out of their own free will! They are not getting paid or anything like that to provide us with such excellent roms!
How would the developers feel after looking at your thread/poll? Each of them are unique and people try every rom out here so that they can choose the one which suits them the best!
Besides, Opening such a poll in public forums is against the XDA forum rules!

I'm so sorry. I didn't read the rules about it. Gonna report my own post.

Have a inspire 4g running on StrikeX, a sense 4.1 rom. The battery life is just completely terrible. I went down over half of my battery in only 2 hours! What is a good kernel that the battery life is better with?

With so many Rom options available for the Oneplus 3 it becomes difficult for the users to decide which rom is best for which purpose. For example , Resurrection Remix ROM is the best in terms of customization options. I am looking for a ROM that has the best battery life. So any suggestion guys?
Thanx
Mod Edit: Moved to Q&A.
There is no "best battery rom". But i would go with oos or h2oos since the others camera quality isnt that good atm.
And you should ask questions in the questions & answers section
people still ask this question... its subjective and pretty hard to give anybody a correct answer for a subjective question
It depends on one's personal taste. But i am a stock oos liker so i come to use Freedom Os on my op3.Freedom os is basically stock rom with some polished additions. It has a beautiful AROMA installer. Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/rom-freedomos-1-0-t3409348
Sultan just released his op3 rom. I've had for a month as a beta tester and it's been fantastic.
Hi lads, Im getting my OP3 soon. Im wondering how your experience is with which rom/kernal.l so i can make my decision better. Thx!
Ask a dozen users and you'll get a dozen different answers, IMHO try stock for a week or so then see how you feel.
To me H2OS at the moment.

this is highly subjective question. it all depends on your personal preference.
1) best campera performance : stock
2) some extra features with decent camera: cm13 and other unofficial builds like of sultan.
3) lot of extra features: rr or dirty unicorn
4) nexus like stock: paranoid android, i personally love the floating mode on that rom.

I like features, but battery is the most important. Ill stay stock and see how it runs. Which kernal do your guys suggest for stock? Boefla or Elementalx?
Best rom doesn't exist, you better edit your thread and write, "opinions about roms" if you're lazy enough to read the ROM's threads to collect them

Im not lazy.. Features are almost all the same. In just gathering user experiences so i know how much a rom is developed and how it runs. Since that isnt stated in those OP's. But i agree my thread title isnt correct, thank your for mentioning that.

I recently bought an OP3. If the stock rom can bring out the best of camera, I'm really going to regret buying this.

True that. However, this thing is a beauty. Hope it lasts a while.
Camera sources are closed as they are for almost all devices
All development around camera it is focused on porting it to cm13 - 14
Most camera mods for other devices are mostly placebo, I haven't seen any important improvements regarding the quality on a device so far, what stock brings it's legit

*Kernel, not kernal (sounds like drunkass)
try stock OxygenOS for at least a week, then try Snapshot Build of CyanogenMod 13 with ElementalX Kernel and OxygenOS Camera Port and see if it works well for you ...
