Problem with Google Play - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

Hey guuys!
I have a problem recently I flash the Android Pie. No worries, but recently I have a problem with Google Play! Indeed, imagine that I want to install XDA app, 2 problems can then arise. Be the application download will launch 4h after LOL; the download is done, then the installation will also take 4 hours to get started. I tried to clear the Google Play cache, but also GP services, no results. Do you know where it came from? Because it's very annoying .. For example it's 8 minutes that the download of my game is over, but the bar is stuck at 76mo 76mo. The installation will arrive in 5 minutes, 1h or maybe 4h ..! Thank you so much ! :highfive::fingers-crossed:
Update: It seems that to close the google play at the end of the download, then restart it launches the installation! I do not understand anything, we would say that to restart the GP allows synchronized. HELP

You said you cleared Google Play cache but did you clear Google Play data? If not try that, it won't delete your apps.

GN missing from Play Store Website after 4.0.4......

Hey Guys,
I updated to 4.0.4 last night by clearing the data for Google Services Framework and rebooted. Update went smooth. Noticed this morning that when I go to the Play Store website, it does not show the Galaxy Nexus under My Devices. Same thing for Google Dashboard. I am on AT&T in the US. Anyone else have this issue? Able to resolve it?
Thanks
Perhaps someone on custom 4.0.4 rom or updated via normal method I.e. Google push update can check if their devices are missing as well ?
If so it would most likely be an issue with 4.0.4 or Google play store

I fastboot flashed 4.0.4 update to my phone and it shows up in the Play Store. Just installed an app from the web page no problem.
Has to be something with the way you "forced" the update, OP. Try clearing your Play Store cache/data and rebooting, and logging in/out on the browser.

I tried this. Same thing. Galaxy Nexus does not show up in Play Store on the Web. I am able to download apps fine on the device itself. Any other ideas? Anybody else's not showing up in the Play Store?
This might be a dumb question but are you able to get into the playstore via your nexus? If you can perhaps you should try to download something from your phone and that might activate the play store to accepting your phone there.
Same for me, not showing up via the website but am able to download apps with no issue.
Try this

That worked for me retro83. Thanks!

Thanks. That did the trick!
So I got my phone showing up in the Play store by signing in the store again. However, the store force closes every time I try to download an app from the web-ui. Anyone else experiencing this?
Downloading from the web seems to be working as normal for me. There was an error (927) bit disappeared after 20 sec.
Yeah, the problem resolved itself on my phone too.
i just cleared the play data sorted it instantly
it seems the problem is not the 4.0.4 update but clearing the Google Services Framework data. I still cannot see the phone on play store but as suggested above I will wait for another 30 min or so to see if it comes up.
PS: still on 4.0.2

This worked for fixing something missing in my device Play Store App, on my Razr M - it has yet to restore my device via the web browser.
Have tried everything else except Factory Reset (trying to avoid this).
Update: A day later my device is back via the web ~ though I suspect it's related to me removing a Secondary Google Account last night.
Running 4.1.2 (stock rom, no root)

[Q] DF-BPA-10 Error

I have an AT&T Galaxy SIII. I have searched for this error with no success. I see many posts regarding DF-BPA-# errors but not 10. Mostly DF-BPA-09. If I try and download a free app from the play store I get "Error processing purchase" [DF-BPA-10]. I have tried clearing the data for Google Services Framework and the Google Play Store. Those don't work.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I got that error once, what I did, was:
*Uninstall the Update for Play
*Force Close Play
*Clear Play Data
*Clear Data for Google Services
Restart into Recovery , Fix Permission
Reboot

This sounds like overkill to me.
I just had this problem recently, because I was trying to install an app the seemed to be restricted to the US IP addresses. I was using DroidVPN and for some reason, when logging into a browser, Google was thinking I was in the Phillipines. Seeing as how I'm in Taiwan and the VPN was routing me through the States (multiple online services confirmed this), it was a little odd. Anyway, I think the problem was a weird mismatch of caching and IP address.
I was able to fix the problem and get the program installed by force quitting Google Play (I have Play Services disabled...but you might want to do this also if you have it enabled). I then cleared the cache, but not the data. I re-opened Google Play, waiting for it to load a little longer than normal, searched for the item again, and installed it without a problem.
Don't it's device specific, and I'm using a Transformer Prime (TF201).
Hope this helps!

[Q] PA 4.2 Play Store issues

I just started noticing I was having issues with the Play Store, noticed that only Apps, Music, and Magazines were showing up on the first page. When I go to my apps it shows only 22 installed, which is way less than I actually have installed. I go to all my apps and it shows them all installed but it says my device is incompatible.
I've tried clearing the cache, force stopping, reinstalling gapps but nothing has really worked. I'm thinking I may have to do a clean install but was hoping to avoid it.
Any advice on getting around this issue?

Did you try doing what I did and that is in the application section go to play store and choose uninstall updates. . Also I read somewhere that the play store was having issues. .

Thanks for the response, unfortunately it across a lot of apps and really only have the option to just uninstall and then I can't reinstall.
I think I found a work around for now though, have to delete the account and reboot. Then add it again. Seems to show everything installed and lets me actually update now. Unfortunately after exiting the store a couple of times it starts to act up again. Maybe eventually I will get it to work after a few reboots.

Google play services and gaps problem

This morning Google play services and Google play store both stopped unexpectedly while I was on the Amazon app store. And now both are constantly giving me this message. I cannot open up the play store due to obvious reasons. I am running ecliptic kit Kat. I have not installed anything new in over a month. I have tried fix permissions with room manager but it didn't help. I've rebooted my phone, no help. I don't want to have to reflash this room but if I have to I will. While typing in this the messages appeared over a dozen times.

Do you have Titanium Backup installed? If so use it to wipe data on both apps, then reboot.

After doing that, it still didn't work. So I went into settings then accounts and unchecked everything that was set up to sync, then rechecked everything then it worked. Thanks for the help.

Cannot update HTC Apps [Error 941]

Hello again.
I have my HTC 10 for 2 days now and I am very happy with it.
Yesterday the Google Play Store prompted me that there are several updates for the HTC Apps. However, every time I tap "Update" I get Error 941. This happens only with HTC Apps (for example Photos updated fine today).
I have tried cleaning all caches (Play Store, Play Services, etc.), uninstalling Play Store updates and try again to no avail.
Does anyone have the same issue or any idea what to do? I live in Europe.
Thanks ahead.

I had the same issue yesterday with an old m8, from what I ready, try these:
Clear Play Store cache,
Clear Play store data,
Clear Play Services Data
Remove your Google account then re-add it.
Wait.
Of course restart your phone between after each step & if it works then your good to go. On my old m8 did all the above steps & then after a few hours or so it started updating.

Thanks for the answer. I just found the solution. You actually don't have to do all this. Leaving this here for future reference.
Just go to play.google.com and find the apps that won't update. It will show that the app is "Installed". Click on "Installed", choose your device et voilĂ ! The app will update in the phone.
