Battery use on the watch is about 13% for around 6-7 hours.
From memory When I ticked the box for "Wearables" it gave a list of different wearable, when I ticked "Samsung Gear" it prompted me to download the app on my watch... (used the samsung galaxy store app)

Heys guys I have a strange battery Problem
I am using CM7.2 Democracy and phiex kernel. I love the Rom but there is just one problem with my battery. When I charge my battery(with phone ON) after it goes to 100% I switched OFF the phone and the Green battery that comes when the phone is OFF shows that battery is about 80% and the battery is still charging. I couldn't charge my phone to REAL 100% with my phone Running . Also when my phone shuts down due to Low battery I connect the charger, while the phone is OFF, and the green battery shows that it still has about 30% of battery while my phone turned OFF Due to Low Battery.
What is the problem
Any solution??
Try to calibrate your battery..
I was at the same problem before and it works like a charm after calibrated
Hope this fix your prob.

I dont think U have to install anything to have deep sleep feature. I think its a feature of android OS that is already enabled!!

deep sleep feature is included in android os but its disabled by default.so you need to activate with no-frills cpu control app and it should be activated.

I'm just a noob here at xda, but sorry I don't think so. Deep sleep on Android works with or without No Frills. The only thing you can do with No Frills is to enable the deep sleep stats (in No Frills cpu stats) that are usually hidden...
@ abdullahaftab: if your deep sleep doesn't work you have something installed or working that don't make it works. Maybe is your rom, maybe it's just an app

I calibrated My battery according to the instructions but even then when my ROM says that battery is 100% charged, I turned off the phone and the green battery still requires another 30 minutes of charge until it says 100%. Why my ROM does not charge my battery to 100%??? =(
And for the deep sleep I deleted few apps that were in no use and after that deep sleep was working.
Any Solution to the above problem??
thats the calibration part.
after a long time the % given when the phone is on does not exactly much the real %.
but, this does not give a shorter battery life, as it will also hang on other values of %. just charge long enough and it will be full.

Ok It looks like I would have to carry on charging with my phone OFF to get 100% charging !!.
Another Question: I put my Brightness to only 25% but still when I see battery use Stats, Display is taking 70% of my battery . Why is that so??????????
So I want to be able to take notes with my moto 360 and then I want to be able to read my notes through the watch, not the phone.
Does anyone know how to do this?
use google keep . it does what you asked

Thanks bro! Appreciated!
Evernote also has a really cool integration with Android Wear. You can make a note or search existing notes. If your note is a checklist (for example a shopping list) it will appear very neatly on your watch and you can go through and check off each item. The screen also doesn't dim automatically so you dont have to keep activating your watch to open the list.
I only use Evernote instead of Google Keep because I've used evernote for last 3 years and might as well keep going.

Thus reducing the battery reserve significantly. I used Evernote for a couple of days but erased it because of that.

But just when you use this app on foreground and screen on. I tested and it drain about 12% by hour. Agenda Wear in same condition : screen on and foreground, drain same 12% by hour. So every app in forground with screen on drain about 12%. There are just watchface wich can authorize processor sleep wich drain between 2% and 4% by hour. Shopping list (Tickit and others.....) had also same consumption.

I'm not worried about battery life on my Zenwatch but more on my Note 4. Because I have bluetooth on by the time i get home battery is about 30% on my phone and my Zenwatch over 60% . The only issue I have with that is I get tons of text messages and I want them coming to my watch.

What app do y'all use to register Screen on Time? I normally use GSam but haven't been using it because I can't get the persistent battery % to not display on the notification area. It's like it's not turning off so I just don't use that app. I'd be interested to hear what some of you are using to see your screen on time.

It's been a couple of years since I rooted my phone and forgot I had purchased the premium version of EXKM. I downloaded it and figured if it lacks features if you're not rooted. Is this true? Maybe I'm not reading EXKM or the stock battery monitor correctly but I don't see a normal screen on time. In the stock app, would that be Screen usage since full charge? I want to make sure that would be the same as screen on time.
Thanks for your reply.
I see how the battery app and EXKM shows the screen on time but it seems pretty confusing. With my attached screenshot it shows that I have 7h 27m with 50%, but I've charged it over that time frame. I'm assuming the only way you can truly measure screen on time is by not charging from 100% until right before you charge it. If someone could clarify this and please correct me in my thinking if I'm misunderstanding how it's calculated or read.

Its just calculates the total SOT you have
If you want to measure sot after you have charged to certain % then hit the menu button 3 dots in upper right corner and you'll get the options
Cheers ?

You can turn the battery status notifications off and that will remove the persistent battery icon in the statusbar since the new update

holy crap dude. factory reset that bish and see what you get after you set it back up
I had this problem, but it was the android system in my case not the android OS. I wiped the cache and drained my phone to 0% then charged it untill full.
The problem is gone. But still my battery life isn't great.
I think restricting background activity and putting loads all the apps to sleep should help ?
I have already putted some apps to sleep since I got the update, especially google, because it was crashing constantly.... Try it, it may help.
I put all my apps to sleep and enabled auto-brightness and here's the result (S9 Exynos)

Download GSam Battery Monitor from google play and use ADB to give it permission "adb shell pm grant com.gsamlabs.bbm android.permission.BATTERY_STATS", It should show what is draining the battery.

Android's battery usage is not showing everything that's why I told you to use gsam monitor
With gsam we could see what is exactly in the "system" causing it to drain battery.
What's app seems to use a lot of battery.
What is your screen brightness level?
