LG G7 Plus ThinQ (LM-G710EAW) 6GB/128GB on Google FI - LG G7 ThinQ Questions & Answers

Have anyone been using this dual SIM LG G7 on Google FI?
I am in the process of switching to Google FI and have one LG G7 FI shipping to me. The one from Google would be fully compatible with the FI network. That means I would have VPN, network switching between T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular. However, I need a dual SIM phone for travel. I currently use a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Duos SM-G955FD on T-Mobile. This model of S8+ works fine but does not have WIFI calling.
Does this LG G7 LM-G710EAW has WIFI calling using Google FI. I know since this model supports GSM network only, it would not be able to do network switching between GSM and CDMA service but would the VPN work?
Any info would be appreciated.

[Q] LG G4 (F500-L) on T-mobile?

I currently have a Korean variant (F500-L). I have seen a couple of these for sale on swappa and both posts say that this phone will work with T-mobile LTE. However, when I've popped in my SIM, I only get 3G. Does anyone else have any experience with this variant on T-mobile? If you were able to get it to work on LTE, how did you do it?
Enter APN settings for T-Mobile. Google that. Just popping in the sim won't give lte.
i have the same issue.. the APN settings seem to be correct.. but it only shows 3G. Model is F500-L
same here i need help too mine is a f500s lg g4 skt version thanks
Far as I know, phone must support LTE Band 2 and 4 to work on T-Mobile 4G network.
But F500(Korean ver. of G4) doesn't support LTE Band 2 and 4. It supports LTE band 1,3,5 and 7. Therefore a phone will only work under 3G network.

verizon g7 on tmobile network

Will I have any issues using Verizon g7 thinq on T-Mobile? Hardware all the same?
You'll need to put in the TMO apn settings as the phone wont automatically do it like samsung phones. I tried it and it works.

Wifi Calling in Intl s20?

I'm considering the dual sim intl s20. Anyone know if the Samsung firmware (unbranded) has the ability to use wifi calling (att or tmo usa specifically on sim1).

I have the 9810 model running both Google Fi and ATT.
WiFi and HD voice works for Google Fi not for ATT.

PLEASE HELP...

Around October of 2021...I purchased a brand new UNLOCKED leftover Google Pixel 3XL, Model G013C
FCC ID: A4RG013C
It list's all the supported radio band's to include for both GSM and CDMA, etc...
I had been using it on AT&T Postpaid without any issues...for a few months but then I purchased an iPhone and did use it for a while but then recently decided to activate the phone again on Cricket wireless...the phone worked without any issues, making calls and sending text messages, etc...
But then, AT&T reallocated their 3G bandwidth and although my phone still worked on their network, 4G LTE...they sent me a text message and said my phone wasn't able to work on their network... Even though it did work, they shut my phone service off.
Now, what's ironic, is that my Cricket phone, which is a Motorola G Play (2021) which is NOT a 5G phone, does continue to work on Cricket.
Please compare, as I did, the Motorola G Play 2021, model XT 2093-1 which does continue to work on Cricket wireless, to my Google Pixel 3XL Model number G013C. (UNLOCKED) from Google.
There is absolutely no reason for my Pixel not to work on Cricket.

LG G710EAW on T-Mobile. Crossflash?

Hello all!
I have an LG G7 from India, model G710EAW. I moved to the US from Canada and the phone isn't entertaining T-Mobile or ATT SIM cards. When I insert them, service works for a little bit and then immediately switches to "Emergency calls only". T-Mobile's website says my phone IMEI is compatible with its service.
The strange thing is that the phone has two SIMs from Canada roaming - one on the T-Mobile network and another on ATT. No issues whatsoever. And when I check the bands in Engineering Mode, I can see one roaming SIM running on LTE Band-4 on T-Mobile. The other roaming SIM is switching between LTE Band-2 and LTE Band-5 on ATT.
T-Mobile uses bands 2,4,5 mainly, and ATT uses 2,4,5 among other bands. This leads me to believe it's some kind of a network restriction preventing my phone from latching onto these networks directly.
I've made tons of calls to T-Mobile and ATT so I'm no longer interested in pursuing them with this.
I'm wondering if cross-flashing a different firmware might help fix this issue. I remember reading on this subreddit that the Google FI firmware may work for T-Mobile bands. I'm not sure I understood that correctly.
Can someone confirm if that's possible? Does this make sense? I'm hesitant to buy a new replacement phone when my G7 works so well.
Thanks!
