PLEASE HELP... - Google Pixel 3 XL Questions & Answers

Around October of 2021...I purchased a brand new UNLOCKED leftover Google Pixel 3XL, Model G013C
FCC ID: A4RG013C
It list's all the supported radio band's to include for both GSM and CDMA, etc...
I had been using it on AT&T Postpaid without any issues...for a few months but then I purchased an iPhone and did use it for a while but then recently decided to activate the phone again on Cricket wireless...the phone worked without any issues, making calls and sending text messages, etc...
But then, AT&T reallocated their 3G bandwidth and although my phone still worked on their network, 4G LTE...they sent me a text message and said my phone wasn't able to work on their network... Even though it did work, they shut my phone service off.
Now, what's ironic, is that my Cricket phone, which is a Motorola G Play (2021) which is NOT a 5G phone, does continue to work on Cricket.
Please compare, as I did, the Motorola G Play 2021, model XT 2093-1 which does continue to work on Cricket wireless, to my Google Pixel 3XL Model number G013C. (UNLOCKED) from Google.
There is absolutely no reason for my Pixel not to work on Cricket.

Can't make or receive calls Verizon LG G4 on Ultra Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO)

A friend of mine asked me for help on his Verizon G4. He is using it with Ultra Mobile a T-Mobile mvno. A few days ago, he said he noticed he couldn't make or receive calls. I got the phone today. The phone has a Signal Bar with an x. I did a soft reset and also tested the Sim in a Galaxy S3. I could make and receive calls with the sim in the S3. I have an ATT sim and tested that in the phone, it received a signal and I could place a test call. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Do you know which LTE bands and frequencies the mvno uses? Verizon had LG block a lot of bands on the VS986, so even though it's unlocked, it can't connect to their network. Pretty shady on VZ's part

I'll have to check. But it was working for a couple of months, up until yesterday.

7T on Xfinity (Verizon)

Bought a couple of days ago, struggle to get Xfinity 4G work. The sim shows Verizon I guess Xfinity lease Verizon network. The voice and text works if no pic, video. The data completely doesn't work on 4G and 3G. Google the issue, seems if carrier is Verizon, it could fix by contact Verizon. However I am on Xfinity, and Xfinity only support one Android phone which is Samsung, any suggestion? Tons of thanks!
How did you add the phone to your account?
I switched devices in my Verizon account, put in the IMEI and was all set. You need HD Voice and CDMA less features
I use another phone to get Xfinity then insert the sim to 7T
Unfortunately unless Xfinity can add the "cdma-less" flag your service wont work right. I'm using usmobile.com (I actually ordered a sim card from them knowing their support staff have the software setup to actually set that flag..)
As far as I know it's Verizon postpaid, Verizon prepaid, usmobile and I think one other mnvo? I'm sure in the coming 6 months or so other mnvo will add support too.
contact Xfinity, was told the feature is not available. Now I am thinking either return 7T and wait OP 8 release or switch to US mobile for a couple of months.

Will my G7 ThinQ really stop working in January?

First of all let me say that before u answer this question I have about as much knowledge on this as a 75yo grandmother, so please keep it extra simple. Most of what I read on these forums might as well be Greek. I have an LG G7 ThinQ. More specifically the G710VMX. I purchased it unlocked and brought it to Tracfone, yes I use Tracfone. It worked with the original SIM card I had from another phone until it didn't, that's when the issues began. Bought a 3 pack VZW, T-Mobile, AT&T sim kit intending to use VZW because has the best service in rural areas. That sim would not work so ended up with T-Mobile sim and bad service. Assumed the phone was GSM only so I suffered. Then I tried to put in an AT&T sim to see if that would give better service and it's GSM so I thought it would work, well it doesn't. Somehow this is only compatible with T-Mobile and US Cellular which is CDMA(? since I assumed phone GSM only). Now Tracfone and T-Mobile reps both are telling me that once they switch to VoLTE the phone will no longer work, I will need a new phone. How is that possible?? I love this phone and hace read that it is capable of operating in VoLTE but the setting to turn it on is not there. And all other networks when given my IMEI tell me it's not compatible. HELP ME PLEASE, I can't afford, nor do I want, a new phone right now.

time will tell, you know just use your phone as long as it's still working. don't let marketing fool you
Well, the other issue is that I need to get it away from Tracfone T-Mobile because their service is terrible in my area. I can't seem to get either a Tracfone AT&T or Tracfone Verizon SIM to work yet the phone is compatible (according to the websites respectively) with Cricket wireless (AT&T) and US Cellular (cdma). I don't understand... That is why I brought this question to all of you. I live and work in a rural area and it may sound crazy but all I want to do is make stinking phone calls.

S20 plus with exynos suddenly quit working on us networks

I sold this phone to a guy and bought an ultra. It worked great when I sold it to him and I had no issues with cricket. This guy tried to hook to Verizon and couldn't get it to work so he went to att and when you enter the imei it says incompatible. Only network that it says works is t-mobile, any ideas? I did flash Japanese firmware on it before selling and bootloader is unlocked.
It is looking as if att upgraded something to do with 3g and they kicked the f series off the networks. It says Feb of 2022 they will do it but we tested 2 f series and neither are able to be used on there.

SM-N976V CSC Change to work with Verizon MVNO?

I purchased a Verizon Galaxy Note 10+ 5g from ebay last year to use for Total Wireless. Well the phone wasnt compatible with Total Wireless at the time and I had to switch to Verizon prepaid. Now the phone is compatible but I cant add APN's to the device because Verizon has greyed out the option. I bought a US Mobile Sim card so I can switch all of our phones over since it is cheaper and is a Verizon MVNO, but I cant get everything to work on my note 10+ 5g. I was able to download an app that let me add APN's and the LTE comes up but now I cant get VoLTE to work. Its turned on but when I make a phone call, it switches to 1x. This is a problem since Verizon is doing away with their CDMA Network. I have spoken to Verizon, US Mobile, and Samsung with no help. My other Note 8 will work just fine when I put the US Mobile Sim card in and my Samsung a71 5g wont work at all and wont let me add APN's even with the app.
I have been doing research and found out about SamKEY and bought some credits to change the CSC from VZW to XAA. I was in the process and it gave a warning about locking the SEC so I decided to do more research before I screwed something up.
The phone is unlocked but for some reason, Verizon phones have these issues with a Verizon MVNO. I can add the TMO sim card from US Mobile and it will allow me to edit the APN's without an issue but I get zero coverage here so I cant use it. So how can I change the CSC to get VoLTE working on a Verizon MVNO? Or can I even change the CSC on this phone? I am so sick of Verizon phones but Im afraid to buy an unlocked phone since It doesnt support all of Verizon's bands.

IDK about unlocking an US device. I prefer unlocked devices.
US unlocked versions of Samsung devices are called "U1". It's part of the model number/name.
E.g. SM-G981U is the US locked Samsung Galaxy S20 5g (like for Verizon), and the SM-G981U1 is the US unlocked version of the same device.
