I'm considering the dual sim intl s20. Anyone know if the Samsung firmware (unbranded) has the ability to use wifi calling (att or tmo usa specifically on sim1).

I have the 9810 model running both Google Fi and ATT.
WiFi and HD voice works for Google Fi not for ATT.

I want to buy the G4 to use on ATT.
Is it possible to buy a model that is unlocked and unbloated to use on ATT? It must work with the LTE bands. Does the international version work?
If ATT introduces WiFi calling as promised this year, will I not benefit if not using the ATT model? How is WiFi calling supposed to work?
The International model will work and supports all AT&T bands, minus one, Band 30. Band 30 is the newest one and is supposed to go live this summer.
I don't think WiFi calling will work but I'm not positive on that.
I am considering purchasing the international Edge + instead of the Tmobile version in the United States because it is much less expensive on Amazon.
Tmobile suppports wifi calling, but would it work on the international version of this phone?

In order to have wifi calling on the tmobile network you need the following:
1: Tmobile branded phone
2: You need to be on the Tmobile network
3: Must have a tmobile sim card.
4: Use Tmobile stock or custom firmwares
Wifi calling WON'T work on international unlocked phones .
Good luck!

I guess that's a "no" .
Pp.
I got a tmobile new sealed box s6 edge plus on swappa for 580.00. It works great. I had a note 5 international ,but no wifi calling and no samsung pay on international models... So I sold it and got t mobile s6eplus. Also if you get international model there is no warranty..
Have anyone been using this dual SIM LG G7 on Google FI?
I am in the process of switching to Google FI and have one LG G7 FI shipping to me. The one from Google would be fully compatible with the FI network. That means I would have VPN, network switching between T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular. However, I need a dual SIM phone for travel. I currently use a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Duos SM-G955FD on T-Mobile. This model of S8+ works fine but does not have WIFI calling.
Does this LG G7 LM-G710EAW has WIFI calling using Google FI. I know since this model supports GSM network only, it would not be able to do network switching between GSM and CDMA service but would the VPN work?
Any info would be appreciated.
Hey all. I'm looking to pick up a A50 but I'm having difficulty finding information on it's compatibility with T-Mobile. Does anyone here have the 64GB or 128GB variants of the North American A50 and can confirm full compatibility with T-Mobile's LTE network? Also does Wi-Fi calling work?
I'm currently looking at the 64GB model sold by Best Buy and Amazon (model# SM-A505UZKNXAA). I'd like to get the 128GB international model (model# SM-A505UZKNXAA) but I don't think it works on T-Mobile.

I'm not looking to root it. I'm trying to get confirmation on network compatibility.
Check what bands you need in the phone, and I think it will works. But you can google everything about this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.re...ne_bought_the_us_unlocked_galaxy_a50_from_bh/

VoLTE and VoWiFi are depends on your carrier too. The phone support these, but that's not means T-mobile too.
I have VoLTE for sure.

T-Mobile supports VoLTE and VoWiFi on compatible phones like my Nokia 7.1. Sadly you can only confirm a phone is compatible by entering an IMEI and I don't want to buy this phone just to have to return if it's not supported.
As you can see my version of the phone is FN, but I have VoLTE (Right upper corner).
But are you ok T-Mobile's US network? If not, you can't answer my question.
Is it possible to get a unlocked s20 and install a Cricket wireless rom on it?
If the device supports the LTE/5G band's that cricket uses then yes, you will have no issues putting a cricket sim in it.
What I meant was could I put the cricket wireless software on a unlocked s20. They claim it has to be the cricket branded s20 to be able to use wifi calling.
