I have installed a ov and uv stock kernel clocked initially at 1.89. I tried both setcpu and system tuner to underclock it to 1.3 but my settings never stick. It returns to 1.89 like 30 mins later. Can anybody please help me out?

It seems that the kernel still a work in progress...u better off asking in that thread than here... if OC and UC and and undervolting is what u're lookin for there are far better options than that... look in the Original dev thread... faux's kerne;, Ktoonz... Trinity kernel are waayy better for what u're tryin to do and they are working flawleslly on 100's of phones including mine

not all kernels gives possibility of changes his own parameters, it means, if you don't see the difference, it's because kernel auto turns modded settages to default! (as what stock htc's kernel do)

because daemons APP are not so good, are big, uses a lot of code lines to injuct some values.. my mod uses 9 lines til now..:good:

The other is a setting of the ondemand parameter.. this is for changing options.. my obiettive is to unify the most mods in one.. for ex:
Chose freqs
Chose governor
chose different setting of governor
Chose.undervolt
Chose scheduler
Etc etc etc
Sure, it's unusefull to.add all now.. kernels doesen't have those parameters..
the mod is simple.. whould you use the tegra3 at 1ghz max? You should use an app daemon (systen tuner etc etc) or use a simple script
Oc daemons use a lot of resources, and monitoryze the cpu.. my mod add the parameters at boot, and, nothin else.. so.. the same thing without an app witch could:
1) can give free reboots
2) increase the consiption

Hello, thank you for creating this. I want to ask about the USB Fast Charge. Currently I'm using KozmiK kernel which doesnt have USB Fast Charge feature. Is it possible to make the USB Fast Charge available with this mod? I already install the mod and notice that when you charge using USB, it stil shows USB. But I dont know if the USB Fast Charge is already applied or not. I cant charge with USB since the kernel have some issue when chargin with USB, the minimum frequency stays at 910 Mhz and cannot be lowered

Fast charge is a kernel features.. only kernel has it.. and it's impossible to add manually with recovery flash
If you turn on the fastcharge with this mod on a kernel witch doesent have it, it will not work.. the command of turning on will not find the sysfile, so, one istruction for nothing.. it doesent demage the phone
If you have issues with frequency, you should change kernel..
I'm on ncx, and it's bugghed too.. so.. it's normal.. source code is out for less time

my phone draining battery very fast, and only stand 2 hours
anyway, there's something weird, display on my phone running with 50% consumption on battery , now i'm using cm10.2, and i try many kernel

A CPU governor in Android controls how the CPU raises and lowers its frequency in response to the demands the user is placing on their device. So after reading the guide you'll know exactly what a governor does.So what does this mod do? It configures the governor to have optimal performance without a large impact on batterylife.
This mod only supports Interactive governor since its the best and most tweakable.

2. Open the ElementalX kernel manager app
3. Under CPU section go to governor options.
4. There click on save and save the profile as "default"
5. Next go to your filemanager find ElementalX folder.
6. Paste the downloaded file in gov_profiles folder.
7. Open EX manager app again,under governor option click on load and select LightningBlade.
8. Click on apply on boot.
9. Enjoy.

I changed a few things in kernel auditor on my redmi note 5 like intensity of screen saturation or headphone gain (because xiaomi lowers the volume in Europe because of European Union regulations) and phone forgets settings after a few minutes. MIUI 10 9.1.3 from miuipolska(dot)pl kernel InsigniuX. How to fix it?
You need to make kernel adiutor as system app.

its been like that ever since RN5 release.
go to settings./ then on apply on boot section press TEST itll apply all settings. i do this everytime i reboot phone.

on every wake i have to reset Kcal values according to what suites my eyes!

am on evolution os. miui also used masik and official miui. once i hit test it applies and never resets only after reboot.

Doesnt work under MIUI apps cant be made system. I've tried both titanium backup and app systemizer both end in a reboot with kernel auditor completely removed.
I found this solution on PureCAF kernel group on Telegram, thanks Kugumin for this!
Using a Root Explorer available on Play Store, navigate to system/etc/device_features. You'll find a file called "whyred.xml".
Search for the string "screen_effect_supported" and comment it, by adding <!-- on the starting line and --> on the end.
