[Q] Disable HTC Screenshot (Solved)

does anybody know how to disable the screenshot function in Faux's kernel because when using sweep2wake to turn screen off swiping from right to left causes phone to take screenshots not all the time but sometimes & its starting to get very annoying
i have searched & tried all the suggestions through out XDA but have had no luck any help will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

using a root file manger go to system\ and open the build.prop, search for something like #HTC screenshot feature, it should be set to "true", you have to write "false" and save the file. that's done

did you see that i already tried every solution on XDA

in that case i can't help you, ask in the kernel forum, the sweep2wake could have messed up that feature

i think i have fixed the issue all i did was disable screenshot in titanium backup
funny thing is that i never new it was there in TB lol.....:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I had the same problem. Titanium Backup allows to uninstall Screenshot application that is included in firmware, and it solves the problem.

A. If flashing with Twrp and after wiping your complete system (including internal). When you try to flash the Rom and you get a Failed!! Then reboot recovery which will tell you no Os installed. Swipe to reboot the recovery, then it going to ask if you want to flash Root. Just hit DO NOT INSTALL and the phone will reboot. Then find your Rom on your external Sd card. Flash the Rom let aroma finish and enjoy..

Make sure your download of the ROM is correct (check the MD5 - instructions see below)
Reboot to recovery
(first try flashing without wiping, if that does not work - retry by wiping internal, then rebooting in to recovery again)
flash the rom again
when flash finishes, let the phone reboot.
the boot logo should come up. Sometimes it can take a LONG time to boot up the first time (5+ minutes) so give it a chance.

A. Once the file is on your device, download ES File Explorer (or any other program capable of checking MD5). Navigate to the ROM.zip - long press to select - select properties - select Show checksum - Check the MD5 box, and click Calculate.
Then compare the MD5 of your download to the official MD5 (in download section)

If it says LTE, then you ARE getting LTE - you just don't have the right logo in the notification bar.
To change the network logo in the notification bar:

Manually use ES File Explorer
Click the little globe / phone icon in the top left (menu button)
scroll down to Root Explorer (Turn it on)
click on the actual word Root Explorer not the on/off button

3. Then delete that same file (gps.config)

I seen that and have downloaded that weather widget and it's not compatible with updates for Galaxy Gear. (No weather update on Gear) I went with eZKAT Rom until this Rom was complete. That Rom had weather working. eZKAT has a nice Rom but I have been with DN3 since the beginning and love it.? ? want to try to get the weather working on watch. Thanks. ?

Finally can post here rom works totally fine on N7105 (Tolte) Apart from minor issues like UPSM & sound effects via Air Command which has already been pointed out Highlighted to the awesome devs regarding an issue for me with 'Reactivation Lock' under Security. Think that will be a perfect add on if it can be patched. Atm it doesn't turn on in the checkbox no matter what. Was any1 able to get it to work? Thx once again! especially to @sawdoctor & @Bajanman for their swift replies earlier!?

Google camera is working fine. ROM running almost a day with it and it's still taking photos and videos on both stock and Google camera without any problems.

Yup no probs with the camera as for the V5+ status saw tat too maybe the next update shd solve this the next update shd be RC perhaps @androidmonsta are u able to activate reactivation lock on ur side?

Hi Guys thanks for this awesome ROM. It fly On my N7105
I have an issue, i need your help to solve it.
When i am downloading the key for an app that i purchased on play store it shows me an error "it cannot install on USB storage or the sd card".
I know thats a problem from kit kat and i already installed sdfix app from playstore made by next app. And it didnt solve it.
The weird it is a few kb, for example i install solid explorer fine but when i try to install solid explorer key it gives me the error.
On my tablet i had kitkat too and none of this error happened.
Can anyone give me a help?

Agni kernel v 4.2.0. Otherwise I can't get wifi because I am on 4.1.2 bootloader

Maybe try AGNi 4.0? Or stock kernel using data for the key.
Just guessing here though.

Fix Camera Delay On Boot

Hello fellow members, I finally unlocked and rooted my Mi A1 yesterday after using it stock for almost 3 months.
My first shocking experience was that my camera was not working when I needed it. On searching I found that Magisk causes the camera to delay when opening.
I came across this thread by @Pyrb and that helped me fix the issue to a great extent.
But it wasn't ideal for me to run the code on every reboot.
So I came up with this simple and straight forward app. As the name suggests it fixes the Camera on every boot. I made it during my recess at college today.
How to use:
Open the app once after installing it. Grant root access.
Now every time you reboot it will do it's magic on the background.
I will release the source code latest by tomorrow if anyone want's to help further.

This works wonders! It fixes the issue of having to set permissive for everything. Too bad we cant really hide the apk from the drawer.

Guys I made it during my recess. My priority was a working automated app. I will try to add the icon hide option.

There's no reason why it shouldn't. But no confirmation as I use Xposed too.

I decided to make the fix you linked into a magisk module. Thanks for making the app, though.

I haven't tried my hands on magisk modules yet. And since it was simply two lines of shell commands I didn't gave that much thought.

Why make selinux fully permissive just for the camera?

after a reboot its taking sometime before it gives the root permissions to apk. is there anyway we can configure it to do it during bootup or immediately after boot?

I got mixed results. Sometimes it's quicker than other times.

Don't use the downloads view.
Activate show internal storage from 3 dots menu. Then swipe from left. Select internal storage. Navigate to downloads folder. Install ftom there.

[FIX] Proximity sensor on Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro (NEEDS ROOT)

1) Install File Explorer Root Browser
2) Go to System folder
3) Scroll all the way down and opet build.prop file
4) Add these 2 lines at the end of the file:

ro.lge.proximity.delay = 150
mot.proximity.delay = 150
5) Save the file
6) Reboot

is this a permanent fix or what?

It should be permanent. Waiting to see will it stay fixed after rom update tho.
I did a lot of research, tried some apps but it did not work, and finally found this fix on some chinese forum.

Delay is already set at 200 in build.prop. I doubt just changing the delay fixes much.
Keep us posted on the fix…ya never know

Well I did not have delay in my build.prop (using pixel experience plus rom) and so far, no more issues with the sensor. Maybe try and change it to 150? What rom are you using?

PE 10.
AFAIK the instable proximity sensor issue is due to a poor driver released in a Xiaomi firmware, nothing so easy to solve.

Just registered to say my formerly non-operational proximity sensor now works perfectly (Pixel Experience)! Thanks very much.

Disable high volume warning

Hi, I want to disable the High volume warning, I already have a solution, right now I use terminal shortcut pro and have created a shortcut to run the command

settings put global audio_safe_volume_state 0
it work great but doesn't survive a reboot so I have to run the shortcut after every reboot. I found an old thread on reddit that say adding the line

audio.safemedia.bypass=true
to build.prop can also disable the high volume warning, but the thread was so old, they were talking android 6.0
I plan to try to add this prop on boot using the magisk module MagiskHide Props Config, I know it work great because I already added a prop to reduce the media volume steps to 15 instead of 30, but i dont know if the prop

is still working on android 10
Another solution would be to have an app that run the terminal command

After 24 hours testing the audio.safemedia.bypass=true with MagiskHide Props Config, I have not seen the warning yet, but I need to test it longer to be sure it work

I still use it with 11 on my OP7T but I am unsure if this prop remove the audio warning or if there is no warning at all on my device. Never tried 11 wihtout the prop so IDK.
Another way you can try is the system UI tuner app on the play store, there is a setting to disable the warning under the audio & sound category. Good luck !

No the system UI tuner app just change some hidden android settings, it do not run in the background. The description of the app even state you can delete the app once you changed the desired setting. Read the whole description to understand how it work. Try it, I think this might be the best solution.

i can confirm that no app does change the setting of safe volume limit.
All tests on rooted device from LOS14-LOS19. Tried different apps like systemuituner, safevolumelimitdisabler, volumesteps+, jamesdsp etc.
Tried to patch the global variable "safe_media_volume" like described here on a rooted device but no luck.
Just ran
[adb shell] settings put global audio_safe_volume_state 0
via adb, when the message popped up, afterits i had to confirm the nag-screen, to raise the volume. it's so weird..
