That is stock recovery.
After booting to the recovery, you'll see a large exclamation mark on the screen.*
Press the power button, then short press volume up + volume down to activate the HTC recovery menu. Use your volume keys to navigate through items.
But since you're s-on, you won't be unlocking the bootloader without the help of Sunshine team.

My God it's good to see you here Santod. If anyone knew, it'd be you. I haven't had the 10 in a few years.
How about the htc_pmewl model? Is that that normal VZW model id? or the FUSED or PRODUCTION flags? Is that the norm now?
Thanks man.

Hello at All,
I need help with M8 of a friend of mine. He got OTA Update to MM, now it keeps rebooting itself.
I googled and tried to find informations at xda, but I can not find a solution.
I am able to get access into Bootloader, Fastboot and Marshmallow, but after a few seconds it restarts itself.
Just enough time to get to developer options before it chrashes.
Boootloader is locked, S-ON. Factory reset via bootloader does not resolve the problem.

1. Remove serial & imei no. from your post.
2. Have you tried wipe data/factory reset in recovery instead of on bootloader ?
on hboot select recovery. If it doesn't go directly to recovery but stuck on black screen or red triangle,
press and hold volume up button then tap power button once.
3. If no.2 still fails ... try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64926626&postcount=6

1. removed - thanks for the hint!
2. fail - it reboots into android
3. fail - reboots after fastboot oem rebootRUU - into android
I maybe wrong but what you explained is like a emmc failure (hardware).
Let's wait for others to give their opinion (if any)

The model you have is the M8s and not the regular M8. You will have more luck getting a solution if you post to this thread.
Good luck!

The RUU may help if it is software problem.
If it is hardware problem, it may not fix it.

You can flash it from your PC. Put the RUU.zip into your fastboot folder and rename the .zip to something easy like RUU
Plug your phone in and get into bootloader/fastboot
fastboot oem rebootRUU (this will take you to RUU mode)
fastboot flash zip RUU<or whatever you named it to>.zip and then when the flash is done
fastboot reboot
Hello,
My 3 years old htc one m9 is getting me headache the past months.
I am thinking this more of a hardware problem (dead nand probably) than software but lets see.
Phone statrs pretty hard, it needs 20-30 restarts or so. I am not able to hard reset it from the settings nor through recovery mode.. (recovery mode failed). Now the phone won't start even after 50 restarts. Sometimes it starts but the screen is black.. i can only power off/reboot/airplane mode (the animation after pressing power button is ok thoug)

Can I fix it somehow or I should consider buying a new one?
If it can get to download mode just flash the stock firmware via external SD card. If that fails then its cabbaged.
How can I do that and how big sd card do I need?
And from where should I download the stock firmware, also how can I see the correct version for my phone?

After flashing it through download mode everything is working fine
I'm using HTC m9 WWE version.
HOW I BRICKED?
I used RBsoft V1.3 software and pressed Relock Bootloader button. Before Relocking I flashed stock recovery.
ALL I did is to update my phone.
I can only go in Bootloader where it is RELOCKED and in recovery mode.
