Hey guys I had to ask this, is anyone working on the new google camera ports? The one found on the pixel 3 with the new swipe UI. There have been reports that ports are already under works for devices like the Onplus Plus 6 among others.
Since this device supports the camera api 2.0 the same could be ported for this device as well right?

Hi guys,
I was just wondering if there was any information about exposure lock or white balance lock. Although that feature was advertised as part of Android ICS, there are hardly any apps out there that support it (the only app that I was able to find was Camera FV-5). However, it doesn't seem to be working properly on custom ROMS, and when I emailed the dev for the app, he told me that until the camera driver from the manufacturer supports that feature, then it won't show up unfortunately.
Are there any third-party drivers out there that might support those two features? The email was a little hard-to-believe, seeing that using almostDSLR on the iPhone 3GS (which is 3 years old) I was able to do exposure-lock and WB-lock. Is the dinc2 camera unable, or is the driver just lacking?
Perhaps we'll get this feature officially when ICS for dinc2 is finally released for good...

I'm using the zenfone 2 Z00A (dual sim) and I updated from CM13 to lineage and discovered that the dual sim ringtones feature wasn't there anymore :crying:
Does anyone know if this feature is planned in a near future ?

I am having the same headache.
M using 14.1-20170707-Nightly-x2 for Le Max 2 (a dual-sim model). Found that Lineage OS (at least this version) does not support dual sim ringtones customization. 1 configuration in Sound settings is sharing with both sim's.
Tried 2 dual-ringtones app in play store, none of them works as they claim. Wonder if any may share a solution here? Need this desperately.

its really important feature for me to know right away which part of my life is calling.
So one year later with LineagoOS Oreo (and apparently also Nougat) and we still don't have dual sim ringtone support? Looking through the XDA forums, it seems thee are multiple unanswered threads across the board of phones and also across different operating systems, not just Lineage, with the same problem.
Can't someone at least make an Xposed module or a Root app for a dual sim ringtone workaround? Didn't find any of those either on FDroid or the Play store or the Xposed store. There are a couple of non root apps on the pay store which are unreliable at best.

Nextbit Robin's cloud services are nomore. Means there is nothing except 32 gb onboard we're left with as there is no sdcard slot, no otg support and from now, no smart storage too. I don't know what to do with Robin now.
It seems like Robin has been dropped by all officially supported Roms. Even the 2012's Nexus 4 has got 8.1 Oreo and salt-on-wound (XDA reviews it). I think i should move on now if there will not be any Oreo Rom this Month.

If you were reliant on cloud storage or that was what you wanted all along then you are in luck. Soon after Robin was released almost the whole industry enabled auto sync in their apps.
Google Photos, OneDrive, etc are the few popular to name. You have options, you just need to choose one you like and use it. You'll never miss the missing cloud part.
Actually there is crdroid android 8.1 for robin but it still getting worked on. firebird11 seems hard at work trying to make it stable so just have patience Android O will come.

Yes ik but i said crdroid cause u can download it rn. Look in crdroid replies. The only problem rn is it is not stable for daily use it seem but it also seems close to stable. You can also download Oreo builds of LineageOS right now in the LineageOS thread. I'd say that they're gonna be working much better than the crDroid builds since crDroid's just using LOS's kernel + trees, and javelinanddart pushes out new builds more frequently whenever he fixes something whereas crDroid's latest build is from March 6th and still has the broken sensors + H264 encoder.

I thought OTG was not possible with the Robin i.e. it lacks the hardware for it. Is my information wrong? Do you really have it working?
@witnit I too remember the same thing @Nextbit_Khang had said. It is a hardware requirement that wasn't there in Robin.

My memory failed me, sorry. It was my wifes last phone, not the robin that I had her using USB OTG with. I have a bunch of phones that I tinker with, my bad.
Sucks that USB OTG doesn't work though, I would have thought of that more as a software than hardware limitation. I dont even have a C OTG cable

Camera is one The Features in a smartphone for me, so that's where the question mark comes up. Lineage developers underline that S9 has Samsung's proprietary camera software which is something they won't support and this is understandable. They - among others - recommend a port of GCam which would probably suite most of my scenarios, but is there a way to use the original (Samsung, not Lineage) stock cam? I mean there's a bunch of S9 camera APKs linked here and there, can I just use of them? Or are they not ported so I can't use one unless I have a Samsung ROM installed with necesarry "blobs" and such? I know I could also go OpenCamera and shoot RAW etc, but that's not what I'm after.

No because it requires TouchWiz ROMs
If you want full camera capabilities on the S9 and can't live with samsung rom, you might have a problem
Samsung camera needs a framework which is proprietary from samsung and there's no fully working google pixel camera port yet. Some things like the variable aperture might never get supported by any other then the original firmware.

I have flashed phone from android 2 to A11.
I feel frustrating about A11 dynamic partition and vendor problem.
I flash custom aosp based rom and pass safety test.
Still, there are 2~3 bank or shop app not working.
And double tap to wake Ng, flicker screen issue.
Back to eu miui port.

Too many useless apps.
If I use magisk model debloat method to remove apps.
I can't pass some bank and shop app.
I used to delete apps directly in lt18i phone.
Use root to delete app in kenzo phone.
Magisk hide in whyred.
Then in android 10 I need to remove magisk after delete unnecessary apps. To pass some apps test.
Now I have no choices.
I just use a java app to debloat delete apps.
But app is still there.
64 gb. System suck with 14 gb. Then with apps installed only 36 gb storage you can use.
I feel my body is not clean.

In A11 custom aosp rom. They don't list double tap to wake Ng, flicker screen, bank still not pass while safetynet pass are bug.
Unfortunately I need to use eu miui port to use double tap and pass bank apps.
I don't understand why whyred roms can use these bank app but citrus can't.

I thought there would be much more activity around this lime phone but it looks like another dud buy for me. I was hoping it would make it onto the official lineageos list but at this rate chances look slim. When I bought it it made sense as the hardware was pretty common and there was multiple phones with the same hardware so could be a popular device. Im running an unoficial version of lineageos and although it works there are a number of issues still.
It seems like it just hasnt been popular with the devs. Maybe someone will pick it up later but we can only hope.

The android limitation when google introduced Android 10 makes it a bit harder for a dev to develop
also the android phone release too fast but the source code is released after a long time.
