Bluetooth Keyboard and Stand

I mainly bought this tablet for school. I was looking into a good bluetooth keyboard with Android specific shortcuts like Home, Recents, Back and Menu. I was looking at the Motorola Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad seeing that it also has a trackpad. But I notice that it has a search button instead of Recents. Would I be able to remap the search button to work for Recents instead?
Also I was looking at stands. I prefer to have a stand alone stand and not a case/stand combo because I love the sleekness of this tab. I was looking at the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand but it looks kinda flimsy. Last thing I want is this thing flipping over and breaking.
Can anyone give me some thoughts or other suggestions if need be?
Edit: I just seen the ErgoPROP Ergonomic Display Stand. I think I am sold on this one. Has anyone ever used this stand before?
I have this keyboard http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-...089&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+android+keyboard, and I love it. It's case doubles as a stand.
I agree too, i bought ithe logitech and love it. I haven't tried other keyboards, but im pretty happy with the logitech so i dont think theres really a need to try a new one
I have two of the Arkon stands, which I use with both the Note and my ThinkPad - a heavier, bulkier tablet. The stand is not flimsy at all and has held up well in constant use. I've had the two stands for more than a year. Very portable, but also very sturdy.

I was going through the Website for Samsung India and found something which I would like to have.
Its not made for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 but was wondering whether this will work?
Bluetooth Keyboard with Book cover(P750) - BKC-1B1USBGINU
Please let me know whether this will work for us and i'll be very thankful.
Thanks.

You'd been saying a no, reason being the weight of the product?
The price is not the prime issue, my reason to vouch for it is it being the product by Samsung for Samsung...
I'm confused because there aren't a lot of products directly available in India
My reason is based on the size of the Note. It is bigger than the model that item is made for. That said, it's your $.
You were right.
I did little checking too with the local dealer.
Besides that, I even mailed the Customer Care at Samsung and asked them for details.
They have reverted back saying it is not compatible.
What would your suggestions for a keyboard case be like?
Are Samsung Guys at all planning for something like this?
I'm looking for one myself. Haven't found one I like, yet. Check out this thread for help. The first couple of posts are not helpful since they talk about one for the Tab, maybe even the one you found. The rest of the posts may be quite helpful, just depends.

Hmm...
Its kinda sad but Samsung ain't taking a lotta effort it seems.
Hundreds of options (After Market) are available.
Belkin, Kensington etc... have organised accessories but I think / rather I would wait for Samsung.
Hope its not a LONG one...
Thing is, it's still kind of early. Could be Samsung is letting the aftermarket handle things. Who knows?
Think you're right.
Anyway its nice to know I'm not the only one on the lonely road.
I'm pretty sure though the options will be available in Europe / US markets comparatively earlier than India (Asia).
If so, can you be kind enough to inform me of the product?
Thanks.

Sure, if I find one and if I remember. I do taxes and we're heading in year-end and tax season. It's brutal.

I have an identical stand sold under a different brand name. I stopped using it when I got a ZAGGFolio for my old Tab 10.1, but since I don't have a proper keyboard/case combo for the Note 10.1, I'm using the stand again.

Because it is for the Tab 10.1, not the Note 10.1.
It's VERY well established that any case specifically made for the Tab or Tab2 10.1 will NOT fit the Note 10.1.

Wireless Charging

I know, it isn't there but is it still possibly saying putting this inside a case?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/QI-wireless...A%2BFICS%2BUFI&otn=21&pmod=200859878021&ps=54
I've heard of it being done for the Hox.
Or failing that, do you think we'll see a powermat case?
I've given them a tweet, just to see what they say.

Not like that guarantees it to be better made. China makes good quality products, just the labor isn't particularly well viewed.
Apple products are made in china and some of the best quality tech products on the market.
Also, for the HTC One X, the Taiwan made versions had quality issues while the china made ones were pretty much perfect and I remember users trying to only get the ones made in China due to LCD issues.

I know. I don't really have a problem with stuff made in China. I was just commenting on the previous persons post.
I wish the one had wireless charging.
Something about the idea of inductive charging doesnt bode well with me for a phone made almost entirely out of metal imho.......
Thats why it's not built into the phone. Imagine pumping electricity through/into the phones metal housing
Besides, something like that card insert wouldn't work for the ONE because there are no contact points for it. You would need a specialized case or something plugged into the usb port itself to send the charge to the phone like the inductive cases for the various iPhone models.
Inductive charger > receiver built into some sort of case with a non-conductive layer between it and te ONEs metal body > charge port. THAT is doable.

[Q] "good" unit versus "defective" unit

I returned a defective unit.
The first one (defective) had warm screen, and touch was messy even after latest update and glass plate applied. It opens up a link or a pic when scrolling with webpage or fb app, or some annoying misoperations when playing.
Bluetooth kept disconnecting with defective unit.
I got a "good" unit for $200 during Black Friday week and no defect so far.
"Normal" white screen
Totally perfect touch even before applying NK1 update
No disconnection with Bluetooth.
The only rant is the "good" unit is no longer fitting with Roocase.
Do you have "defective" unit having the problem I mentioned above?
Granted, I have Elite Plus status so I can return it after 5 weeks (Elite Plus has 45 days of buyer's remorse period).

i don't understand. The replacement is the same model? If so, I don't see why it wouldn't fit the same case. Can you explain further?

I don't see how that is relevant. The defective unit is gone, replaced by one that works perfectly aside from the odd case issue.

I think the good unit should be different hardware (the good unit seems to be a bit thicker) Roocase fitted with the first unit, but it's broken when I put second unit on because it's thicker. However, it has no problem with Insignia case.

Are you sure its the same model, and they didn't give you a "Pro" to replace a "Tab S", or something like that? If the same model, it shouldn't be any thicker. These devices are marketed and sold by their thickness specs.

Of course both are Tab Pro not S (and I am not big on burn-prone AMOLED).
Regardless of that, I got a keeper after all.

Weird, I would think its very unlikely for the thickness to have changed. At least, not to any significant degree where a case would not fit anymore.
But I suppose its not impossible.

Quick release pins for Huawei Watch

What are the specification for the quick release pins for the Huawei Watch? Are they 18mm long and diameter of 1,5mm?
The 18 mm sounds right. Not sure of the other dimension.
They are 18mm long and just standard. Not sure why it would matter unless you are building your own pins, but not sure why when they are so cheap and available.
Yup, 18mm. The diameter is standard on the "connection" part. Though it depends on the band: sometimes you might need a bigger diameter, sometimes a smaller one. With my generic band I'm using a 1.8mm pin, while the standard was 1.5mm. With the 1.5mm it was a bit too loose around the pin.
I have these and they work great.

LOL...no worries. There are cheaper options but I wanted the quick release ones and I needed (wanted) them quick since a few bands I bought did not come with them.

MTCD/MTCE head unit for Mercedes ML63 AMG (2012 model)?

I'm looking to buy a Mercedes ML63 AMG from 2012 and trying to find a unit that'll fit instead of the old one. Obviously MTCx one. Checked Dasaita that I know sells primarily MTCx units but they didn't seem to have one that fits the car. Any advise?
