Stuff like this is why "technical support" is the way that it is.
OK, so we have no idea what you did since you're not telling us. Help us help you.
How long are you letting it sit and reboot (and leave it plugged into the charger)? The phone will do this after RUU, give it 20 mins or so before interacting with the device. To reach download mode, hold the power button and volume down button, after phone vibrates, release the power button and after menu displays, release volume down button. If this doesn't work, hold all three buttons until after back/recent buttons blink and device reboots.
What--EXACTLY--did you do before this happened? Which variant is your phone? Version? File(s) you used?

Try putting it in Download mode by pressing the Power, Home, and Volume down button until the phone screen turns on. If it turns on you should see a Warning message, press the Volume up button. Once you're there follow the guide here: http://www.qbking77.com/how-to-unroot/unroot-unbrick-the-samsung-galaxy-s-iii.html

If you can get into download mode on the phone, make sure you have the proper drivers installed on your computer. I believe this is what you need.
Can you enter in Recovery Mode?
Try flashing a ROM. If you don't have any ROM, try downloading one in your PC, put it in a sdcard and then flash it.

Hello everyone.
I apologize for my bad English.
My Htc is dead and will not turn on. I make a list with the details hoping someone can help me.
** The phone will not turn on and the display remains black.
**The phone does not emit any sound and makes no vibration.
**If I connect the charger the phone is charging properly. You turn on the red light and after 10/15 seconds the green one.
**If I connect the phone to the PC 4 devices are recognized but one is not installed. (Attach photo)
**Try and try again to connect the phone to the PC on one occasion, the display has flashed 3 times and for a split second it appeared the inscription HTC.
---- List of tests done:
*I tried to hold down the power button for several seconds (10 to 40).
*I tried to press both volume keys and the power button.
*Replaced FLEAT the power button.
I really hope that someone can help me!!
Thank you!! Thank you!!

You never stated what happened to get your device in the state it is and i'm just assuming you did something to brick it, so here
So firstly you need to get the drivers for your device installed.
my advice download WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit v1.1. It will allow you to easily know if your pc is recognising your device.
Once that is done you need to get your device changed sufficiently.
Go to http://www.hackmyandroid.com/comprehensive-guide-on-unbricking-the-htc-one-x/4216 and follow the instructions.
Charge HTC One X in Fastboot Mode section from the link should help you charge your device
With the ADB folder where it should be on your computer C drive and your device plugged in and recognized, charging shouldn't be a issue
this should cause your device to restart repeatedly until it reaches about 10% battery
I advice once you have completed the charging of your device to the 10% mark that you continue on to the Unbrick the HTC One X as well as the Restoring the nandroid backup sections. You can always install a custom rom like CM11 or a sense based rom instead of doing restoring a nandroid backup
Hopefully your device will be up and running
Goodluck and let me know how it went.

If you're not on 4.4.4 firmware you should update to it. It's already a well known fact that running ROMs with out dated firmware WILL result in excessively long bootup times(10mins + ) .

Once it reboots you won't really be able to get in, well I couldn't when I tried. As soon as the screen goes dark you should immediately have the volume down key pressed, I'm talking about a second at most in between.
If the phone is completely off it's easy enough to just hold volume down and power for a couple of seconds until it goes into bootloader. When you do the hard reset you have to hold the power button and slide down to volume down quickly before it boots up.
You didn't still have fastboot checked in the settings did you?

OH SH*T! I still have mine checked. It doesn't work any more for me (normal boot times), but I haven't been unchecking it when messing with stuff because I'm not realizing/ forgetting that it is on.

I'm just curious, was your phone fully charged when you were flashing the ROM? It sounds like a battery problem, but I could be wrong.
Always make sure you have lots of battery before flashing anything. The way it won't stay on is really weird. You could try the ROM's forum. Maybe you might find an answer there. Sorry.

Volume down is broken, but volume up is working but does not do a thing. Problem is, I can not even power it off holding the power button. I had to pack it between a towel so the vibration at every reboot does not disturb me. Now it is laying here with empty battery and I tried to start it but I am getting the same symptoms...

Does there seem to be any change in the screen appearance when you do this? Such as the screen looks like it's actually on, but it's only displaying a black screen?
Or any reason to think your vol rocker is broken (does it work when booted to Android OS?)?
