It got wet a little bit, and it works perfectly fine, besides the wifi and gps that stopped working.
Should replacing the Signals Cable fix it ? If not what do you think should ?

It is either oxidisation at the contacts or hardware issue. Clean the contacts and completely dry the phone before assembling it. If that doesn't solve the issue, it is hardware.

Tbh, it's been 5 months since it got wet, so i was thinking that there's probably no water left if that was the issue.

If it was not thoroughly cleaned and dried, oxidisation can happen even after 5 months. So check and clean the contacts.

My vibrate function stopped working a few days ago and at first I thought it was me changing my profile but when I checked, everything's still the same. i didn't drop it, in fact I've pampered my phone since i got it a month ago. Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you fix it?
This happened to me after switching to the 1.33 WM6.0 ROM a while back and hasn't been fixed even after switching to Kavana's WM6.1 ROM. Anyone know of any fix or registry setting that might resolve this issue?
Please, please, please help me out guys! It's driving me crazy!
Nevermind, I fixed it!
I swear, I have already fixed my LCD, keyboard, and now the vibrator on this device. Not bad for a cell phone that has taken a beaten over almost 2 years.

how did you fix it?
I just took the phone apart. Well, basically the back cover and took the vibrator cell completely out, cleaned out the connectors with a cotton swab and put it back. It turned out that by flipping it around it worked better, so I did. Not a hard task at all.

Using ROM by Lovebaby jing is greater and no this thing happen. it's fast rom.
I have P3300 with meschle's 4.02 Vanilla ROM. One One, Quicken, TomTom and Stowaway drivers. 8GB Sandisk SDHC. Nothing else. I have A LOT of e-mails and contacts and music.
It has been working pretty good for me, but lately the Artemis hangs WAY too often. I tried to see any pattern, but it seams that it does it totally random. Sometimes it just hangs on the screen, sometimes the screen goes off. Sometimes the soft reset works, sometimes I have to remove the battery and restarts. I think that I have tried everything, but cannot find a problem. I made sure that the card, SIM and battery are all seated and cleaned contacts.
I used to use Battery Status 0.05 and ran at 247, but lately I removed it (and fresh installed ROM) and still hangs. It is my primary phone, so I need to fix it, because it hangs often on my belt and I have no idea that the phone is not working. Help!!!
Even if you clean the battery contact & other visible contacts, there are some wires inside, which need to be cleaned. It may happen if the contacts inside the phone is not cleaned. You can give it to repair shop and clean all contacts inside the phone with electronic device cleaning solution. Internal battery contact, display to mainboard contact is most critical contacts need to be clean.
cost

Hmmmm, I guess you are right. It is just the cost I am wondering. I am not even sure if there is a place who would take it apart. I am thinking maybe using air to blow it? I can take it apart and blow it with clean air. Gosh, scary idea if something flies away. ;-)
If it is a dirty or corroded contact problem you should be able to generate the fault at will by shaking tapping or rattling your phone. Has it been dropped or do you work in a dusty or corrosive environment?

i never dropped it, but i work in construction, so i guess it is a little dusty. i tried to rattle it or shake it, but it seems solid. I just opened it, blew it with air and so far running without hitch. I will write the results.

OK, after about a day, it only restarted once (before it used to ten times or so) so it helped. I bought a dust spray for electronics (just clean air) and I will try it maybe again. It seems so far that it is the case.

OK, I blew the air all over it and if there was something it has been gone. It still hangs sometimes. Now about 2-3 times a day. I since re-installed the 4.02 ROM but it still hangs once in a while. The bad thing is that it usually does that in the pocket, so I have no idea that the phone is not working. Any suggestions?
i had the very same problem.. hang on pocket, on the midlle of a call..all random.
tryed to update rom after rom and no go.
Sent it to HTC , they exchanged the board and now it runs fine for weeks.
My guess is that it started to fail after charging the battery with a motorola charger (mini usb 5v type)
but is just a guess

How much did they charge for the motherboard replacement? Isn't it cheaper just to buy another one (since it is an older model I saw them around $300). I thought about getting Kaiser instead. Got one, but to my surprise, it is actually slower than the Artemis (even with HTC ROM or cooked ROMs). Plus it's camera really sucks.
Let me know how much you paid.

charged me nothing.. is still on 2 year warranty.
i tried searching the forum but couldnt find any info on it.
the external speaker on the htc one x stopped working but if you tap the back casing the speaker works for few hours and then the problem comes back again. i tried flashing a new rom it works for a bit and and then had the same problem again. is there any suggestions what could be done to solve this issue?
Maybe you got a defected HOX ??

found the fix. it was the contacts that connects the speaker module to the board, may be the contacts( the same type of pins that caused the wifi issue) on my HOX got pressed too much i guess, probably going to solder the pins when i get home as of now have it taped up for the testing
i had the same problem when i openned my HOX, after closing, back button led and speaker didn't work, i disassembled and reassembled again and it works, so watch out if you'll open it!
I see ... Hope you get it fixed then
soldered all four connection, did a test didnt work so i played with the speaker connection a bit and it worked. i guess the speaker had a loose connection or something as of now placed a bit of masking tape and closed the housing. working so far now. i guess the problem is with the chip where speaker is plugged
Had the exact same problem, although it degraded to the point that tapping the grille only brought sound back for a second in the end.
Got HTC to repair it along with the wifi.

I don't have warranty Canada is nt covered for global warranty. For now I will just leave it like this. If sadly problem came back then I will take it to HTC.
I have a huge problem, basically I was sick and tired of my black housing for the phone, so I ordered the white one from ebay. I was so happy it came that I forgot to shut down the phone, well during half way of the work, while I was trying to pry it open I remembered and turned it on and it worked I opened it a bit more open and it suddenly went black and since then everything is working except the LCD.
I have no idea whats the problem is the LCD broke or what?
Also when it shut down and me trying to reconnect the LCD flat cable to see if thats the problem I was nervous and did that which you see in the picture. Now my issue is what if I buy a new screen connect it and it doesn't work because the FPC connector?

The connection pins themselves do not look damaged, on the plastic shroud. The socket should work fine.
It's a little hard to make out fine detail in the pic...take a magnifying glass to it and check for cracks or splits in the pins.

Hmm it seems like it goes one small one then longer one, its hard to see from he picture but I think two of the longer ones are missing. And what should be the problem with the LCD because that happened before I damaged the socket.
Between thank you for the fast reply.

Well I don't see any missing pins, but you'll have a better view.
As for you LCD...no idea. Generally it's a good idea to turn everything off before you open electrical equipment. You could have caused a short in the process of opening it live.

Would that be on the motherboard or the LCD, basically should I bother repairing it or just sell it for spare parts thats my issue right now.

If you try to power it on does the vibrate activate...basically does it do everything you'd expect EXCEPT the screen doesn't work or does it do nothing at all?

Like I said earlier everything works, I can still receive SMS, phone calls (I can answer them since the digitizer works), e-mails, Facebook msgs, vibrations, sound, microphone... Everything works except the LCD.

You might try replacing the LCD and hope you haven't damaged the connector. If you have, a self-repair is unlikely given its size and that of the pins.
Or you dump it and buy a new phone.
Either way it's gonna cost you money. The first is cheaper but may not work.
I think that's your only options.
Yeah I knew from the start it was gonna cost me money, but I wanted the cheapest way out
Thanks a lot for the help I think I am gonna try to fix it. Get some experience while doing it too

Hey did you ever figure out the connector issue? Same problem
Hello everyone!! Before one week my fingerprint sensor stopped working! After two days of that troobleshoot my fingerprint sensor settings all of a sudden disappeared. After two days of the disappeared settings my touchscreen turned unresponsive. I try many things to fix it but the only things that makes it responsive again is a hard push at the screen(lol) is there any other have the same issue? I'm thinking it's time for a replacement of my screen? Or is there any other solutions??

Most of the time, this issue happens due to hardware issue, the screen/power button ribbon cables might've got loose inside the device.
I think its easy to repair in service.
Looks like cable tape broken. If screen not damage try go to service
