Hey everybody,
So, I'm the happy owner of a Mi Max 2 since November, and went on a hunt for the best accessories I could find for the phone.
All are recommended based on my personal experience, and the links I hereby attach are exactly the same links I used to order to products.
Screen protector:
aliexpress.com/item/0-26mm-Full-Screen-Protection-Tempered-Glass-Film-For-Xiaomi-MI-MAX-Screen-Protector-Cover-Glass/32707631328.html
No halo/rainbow effect, even after a while. Sticks very well to the phone and doesn't move after application. Great cutouts.
Case:
aliexpress.com/item/PZOZ-For-Cover-Xiaomi-mi-Max-2-2017-phone-Case-original-screen-protector-bumper-fundas-Xiaomi/32826851540.html
The case is made out of silicone, but feels extremely robust. Buttons are easy to spot, and are very tactile and clicky. Has a great fingerprint cutout. Additional edge protection is amazing, and the case protected my phone from many serious (1.5m~) falls, sometimes straight on corners, sometimes straight on screen.
Charger:
aliexpress.com/item/For-Qualcomm-Quick-Charge-3-0-2-0-Ugreen-USB-Charger-Smart-Fast-Mobile-Phone/32723120029.html
High quality Quick Charge 3.0 charger. Works perfectly fine, comes with great cable, everything feels very high quality and well made. Very well priced, too.
Great info. Because options are limited
Yes, thanks a lot. Glass is a bit harder to choose. Great help

With the recent 20% code I decided to order a case and screen protector from DBA Cases, the screen protector is still drying so I won't comment on that but I wanted to put up a review of the case because I really, really like it. I've bought a bunch of cases so far and this is definitely the one that will stay on my phone.
My general take on the case is that it is as thin as a case could be yet still provide a reasonable amount of protection - and that's exactly what I was looking for. The material is nicely grippy; maybe it doesn't feel quite as nice as the rock case but unlike that one it covers the corners. This is huge in my book. The fit of the case to the phone is perfect, it snaps on very firmly and feels completely solid once it's on. The main reason I'm posting is though that I wanted to put up some quick pictures to try to give a sense of just how slim this case really is, so hopefully that comes across below. It feels great in your hand, and looks like a premium product.
Probably my only gripe with the case is that the CAD design is a bit lacking. The access holes leave lots of space to get at things like the volume rocker and lock button, which is good, but you get the general sense that they just squared them off and made them really large to take the conservative route in design. And yet the relief around the headphone jack doesn't look big enough to accommodate all headphone cables (for some people I could see this being a big issue). The texture/holes are not applied very well either, there is a break in the pattern along the edge that is slightly annoying (to be fair it is much more noticeable in my photos below than it is in the real world). Those minor details aside, the case is fantastic and it gets about a 9 out of 10 in my opinion.
Just wanted to do a review of some cases I bought and tried recently for my LGOG, hoping the info would be useful to other people. There are some other good and cheap options available online, but these are the ones I tried first-hand. I am really happy with all three of them, so here's the proof that sometimes you get more than you pay for...
First, a generic sleeve picked up at a local dollar store while I was waiting for my Amazon order to arrive. For just $2, it's pretty much as good as free. Simple, but ingenious: two pieces of synthetic leather (it's high quality, smooth, soft, and doesn't stink) stitched together, but with an added pullout ribbon that is surprisingly convenient, and works wonderfully to get the phone out. My wife was quite amused by the way it worked (as was I ). Sized perfectly for my phone, and looks pretty nice and elegant, too. Excellent basic protection sleeve, considering the price. Highly recommended, if you prefer your phone naked, but still want reasonable protection carrying it around. Five stars from me!
Next comes the Diztronic case, ordered from Amazon. It's a low-profile TPU wrap-around skin that looks and works much better than it costs. Very nice soft touch finish, clean design with precise cutouts, sharp looks and enough protection for daily use. The fit is perfect, feels like this phone was born in it. Some people on Amazon complain that it peels the screen protector at the edges due to a tight fit, but I don't use screen protectors, so I don't care. Adds very little bulk, but gives a nice protection around the bezel, so you can safely lay your phone face down. It also levels the protruding camera lens cover on the back, so it doesn't get scratched easily. One thing that seems weird at first is that the design around the volume and power buttons is very different. But then I realized how much it actually helps -- the power is recessed deeply in the cutout, making it much less prone to accidental presses, while still easily reachable with a fingertip. Very convenient. It would be nice to have a better grip on the sides (like a diamond pattern or something), but even as is, this case still makes the phone much less slippery than naked. And I didn't like the prominent logo on the back, as I prefer all my things with as little branding as possible (ideally, none, but that's just wishful thinking). Four stars (minus one for the grip and the logo).
The last one is a cheap dual-layer case pretending to be an OtterBox, also from Amazon. I saw this case there under different brands; mine was Aimo. I used OtterBox cases in the past, and to be honest, this one is quite impressive in comparison. Pretty much the same design features (except the port covers), build quality and the level of protection as Commuter series, but for just a small fraction of a price. And it has a handy folding stand on the back, which works in both portrait and landscape. If you are reeeally nitpicky, you might find the fit between the inner silicone layer and the outer hard shell a tiny bit loose along the top and bottom edges, but hey, it's not exactly an OtterBox, OK? Again, you really have to look hard and close to notice this. All the cutouts are precise, and the buttons are nice and light to the touch. Note that this case is quite bulky, and doesn't match the design style of the phone itself, so some people may not like it for its aesthetics. But as far as protection goes, this is probably the best option for this kind of money. This case is available in different colour combinations. Nothing beats black for me, but you can get yours in neon pink, if you want. Five stars, hands down!
Thanks for these suggestions and pics.
My first case for OG was Nilkins hard plastic case - at first it may look good, but actually is a piece of you know what. The rubber layer on the case started to peel off after 2 weeks first on the corners then the rest, due to this the phone looked ugly. After a while corners just broke off completely. All this happened with regular use without any extremes.
The next one I bought was a bit cheaper also from China - TPU X Type soft silicon I guess. I've been using it for many months now and it havent changed a bit. Good protection, looks nice and I guess it wont change forever unless you cut it with scissors
So yes, cheap can be good, but buyer beware as some cheap cases will be a headache.
I have this one:
aliexpress: /item/Genuine-Brand-New-IMAK-Crystal-series-PC-Ultra-thin-Hard-Skin-Case-Cover-Back-For-LG/1027800082.html
Phone looks nice in it. The plastic is sturdy, but it scratches easily. However it's a cheap one so no risk in trying it.
And the classic one gel case:
aliexpress: /item/Hot-Sale-8Colors-S-Curve-Line-Shape-High-Quality-Soft-TPU-Rubber-Wave-Gel-Soft-Skin/1310173671.html[/url]
This offers complete protection, but it's ugly.
PS: Just copy rest of URL after aliexpress.com to see it. I'm not allowed to post links.
First case I got was this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QuickSan...lePhoneAccessories&hash=item3f25597db6&_uhb=1
It still works great to this day, but peeled the screen protector off.
I have had many E975 cases, flip ones, rubber and hard ones.
Currently I am using the LgOg official bumper and it is a dream, sometimes the holes are tight but I simply file them and they work fine
The bumper: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181246366449?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
I just got my cases and keyboard in from Amazon two days ago and i wanted to share my thought on what i think are excellent products. I spent a lot of time looking for cases because initially i wanted a keyboard case, but none impressed me too much and all looked almost the same. Then i heard magnets in cases were causing issues and the Samsung book cover was the only one that seemed to have 0 issues. But it was too expensive my for liking so i went with the following set-up.
It won't let me post links, but it is all available on amazon.
Case: RooCase Origami Folio and Slimshell Cover
Want the Samsung Bookcover without buying the outrageous price? This is the way to go, and in my eyes is better. It has essentially the same design concept with more functionality. Great build quality. Offering a total of 4 holding positions for the screen. The cover has 3 landscape position to hold the screen up and one portrait. Very nice and soft to the touch. A sleek slim design which leads to being very light. The cut-outs are perfect and does support the auto-sleep/wake function. So it does has magnets but so far has had no effect on the digitizer. I was hoping it wouldn't since it was very similar to the book cover. Not the best protection but a unbeatable price for this product if this is what your looking for.
Sleeve:RooCase Neoprene Sleeve Case
I will be using my tablet for college everyday, so it will be moving around with me everyday. I needed some extra protection, especially for when it is in my backpack. This sleeve does the trick. It has two pockets, one for the tablet and one for any accessories. The tablet fit perfectly with my other case on it and still had enough room to slide my Bluetooth keyboard in. It is slim but protective. The Neoprene sleeve gives me the extra protection from the bumps, scratches, and movement it will endure. It is not very thick, so don't expect it to save you from heavy drops, but it will do its jobs within its limits. Once again a great buy for its price.
Keyboard: Shark Ultra-Slim Bluetooth 3.0Keyboard
This keyboard is top-notch. The build quality is amazing, featuring a aluminum body which looks very professional and clean. The keys are a great feels to them and don't feel cheap. I felt good feedback from them. The on/off and connect button is conveniently located on the top right. Has a lithium-ion battery and lasts quite awhile. They keyboard case with a nice little sleeve to keep the keyboard in which was nice. Fit perfectly with my tablet in the sleeve. I had no connectivity problems and connected in seconds. It does have a auto-sleep feature when inactive which helps save alto of battery if your like me and forget to turn it off. Pressing any key will wake it up and connect back almost immediately. It is a little more but its worth it in my opinion if your gonna be using a keyboard.
Hoped this helped you guys a little bit. I am open to any questions you guys might have and will reply back as i can. This was my first time using these two brands and and pretty pleased for the price.
Found this on amazon and decided to try it. It's a pretty nice case and I haven't seen anybody on here talk about it. Is your standard rubber case with a few extras, it has thick bumpers side, front and rear so it's very well protected and easy to hold. My favorite feature and the main reason I bought it is it has front facing speaker ports that direct the sound toward you. I was skeptical but they really do work. No pictures but easy enough to look it up on amazon,.
Owned BobjGear cases for every one of my supported devices since his first for the Toshiba Thrive.
Ultra high quality, super fit, cool features, great protection....

Super support as well!
Can't recommend highly enough.
I was asked to write a review on XDA Developers, to enable me to receive my case for free, so here I am. If this isn't allowed here, I'm just doing as the company asked. Feel free to delete.
Took Exactly 20 days to arrive, As Jeff said in his email to me (co-founder of ArmadilloTek), I had an option to either buy from Amazon or get sent from manufacturer. I chose the manufacturer (Amazon was out of stock)
Arrived bang on schedule! - If i had ordered from Amazon, had they been in stock, it would have most likely been next/same day.
This is my review after a few days of use, replacing my OnePlus Case
Pros:
- It's very thick. It doesn't make my phone feel too big, but it does make it very pleasant to hold
- Feels very nice to hold - unlike my OnePlus Case that came in the box, it doesn't feel like it is going to fall out of my hand at any point
- Retains clicky buttons on the phone, some cases make the buttons feel mushy - this one does not!
- Very, very clear! Get a nice view of my totally black phone through the case!
- Works better than my OnePlus case for NFC (I'm a diabetic with NFC monitoring sensors) - This one is IMPORTANT to me.
- NO STUPID SANDED CORNERS. So many TPU cases have textured corners. It annoys me - this case doesn't!
Cons:
- Bit of a fingerprint magnet. For someone like me that likes a clean look, I have to pretty frequently wipe the case down - I know it's a clear case, so fingerprints are not as visible, but I still see them!
- Occasionally a corner of my phone slips out of the case. One example I threw my phone (lightly) onto my bed. When I picked it back up, a corner had come out of the case. The case does feel snug though, so that shouldn't be happening but it isn't the first time I've spotted it. I wouldn't want that to happen if I do actually drop my phone somewhere a case matters.
- Doesn't stick well with the set of pop sockets I have - I feel it's a requirement for large phones to make them useable. Mine doesn't seem to stick super well to this case. Could be isolated to me though.
Packaging:
-Pros
- Arrived in good condition
- Professional Packaging
- Easy to Open
-Cons
- Could use less plastic. You could get away with a paper bag or something. It's already in a box, and the case is thick plastic, I highly doubt it's getting damaged in shipping when the box didn't even have a dent - and I live in the UK, getting it shipped from America.
- It wouldn't hurt to include a free, decent glass screen protector. I see a bunch of cases doing this on Amazon. Not saying it's a requirement, would just be nice.
Rating: 4/5
@jinshanghaiaraol you seem to have something to do with this, can you pass this on?

Thanks man.
I passed your review to the company.
Don't agree with most thing you talked about package. We have to keep the product sealed perfectly or Amazon might say it is not good enough.
And about the magnet of fingerprint, dude, you are using a clear case, it happens to all of them.

actually the clear case i had for my OP8 Pro wasn't anywhere near as noticeable for fingerprints, but it did have a textured back - just personal opinion! - Fair enough for the packaging though, i don't sell on amazon so i don't know their requirements Love it so far though
Hi guys, I was also asked by Jeff Lin (ArmadilloTek's co-founder) to try the brand new CaseBorn ArmadilloTek S for One+ 9 Pro.
As for me phone protection is very important (my friends call me paranoiac !) I am always very interested in cases but often disappointed.
When I unboxed it, apart that the packaging is perfect and graphically totally my taste, I was a bit disappointed because this case looks really not strong nor special at first glance. And that is the amazing point! This case is greaaaaaaaat but does not let it be seen immediately.
The material is rigid, except in the upper corner of the camera window where it is completely flexible, but being rigid it keeps a certain flexibility as you can see on the pics.
It is not that thick but it is definitely strong, and to break it you'll need to really want it. So I don't feel my phone is bigger but I feel it is protected and very pleasant to touch and to hold in my hand.
I can hold it quite better than without case or with the OnePlus case, and it won't slide off my hand as it might happen with the one+ case coming with the phone or without case.
It is totally clear and transparent and works perfectly with NFC. Not too much fingerprint smudging.
The buttons work perfectly and are totally protected.
The edges of the screen are very well protected without disturbing the touch.
So for me guys no doubt, this is THE case. I threw in the trash can the oneplus case and I think they should work together with Armadillo Tek because even if it was nice from oneplus to provide a case for free, after 3 minutes using the Amadillo's one I don't consider anymore the oneplus case as an effective protection.
Sorry guys I tried my best but I did not find any drawbacks or bad points to this product, not even it soft price ...
Just one thing more to add: Thanks and bravo Armadillo Tek for this case that make my phone and I HAPPY!
I have this case as well and the only negative I'd the gigantic logo on the back. It might not be gigantic to some but it's my opinion. I'd prefer a small, matte company logo over "Caseborne ArmadilloTek". It just seems like a lot for a case.
Other than the branding I really like the case. Provides a great grip for a slick phone and still let's you see the phone itself.
Buttons are still clicky and it has a solid lip around the display to protect it from debris if it's dropped. Has good cut outs for the USB-C port and mics around the phone
