Oreo ota for Nexus 5x: blod? - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey! I've had my Nexus 5x all summer, and both ota updates I preformed resulted in the blod.
Has anyone with past BLOD issues installed the OTA? Did you BLOD?
I'd love to have all six of my processor cores back

Does it come with the update?

I read there was an update for the Note 4 giving battery life improvements and other things (This was before Verizon released the phone), so does the Verizon variant come with the update?

Nexus 7 (2013, Wi-Fi) shows up as 2012 model with 720p resolution after 6.0.1 update

Nexus 7 (2013, Wi-Fi) shows up as 2012 model with 720p resolution after Android 6.0.1 update. Tried a factory reset and clean flash to AOSP 6.0.1 (MOB30X).
Why is it showing up as a 2012 model and limited to 720p?
For the factory images, it seems Android 4.3 (JSS15R) has the best performance with this Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi, followed by: 4.4.3 (KTU84L) and if you need features: 4.4.4 (KTU84P)

Same device as yours, same OS version, which I've always kept completely current. My Nexus shows as 1920x1080, with fingerprint google/razor/flo:6.0.1/MOB30X/...
never seen a status like yours. I'd ask you if you accidentally installed the 2012 firmware by mistake, but I know they never made 6.0 or higher for the nakasi.
good luck ????

This is enraging! I have literally spent the entire day, from 3am this morning, restoring to stock and using the OTA update just to get me to this fouled update that demotes the Nexus to last year's model!!! :crying:

Inquiry for Vibe P1 users

Hello guys,
I just bought my VIBE P1 today and I'm utterly happy with it. I received an OTA update that will update my android to MM
I saw a plenty of negative feedbacks on Lenovo Forums on the MM updates to the extent that they claim FP Sensor functionality has stopped. Am I safe to proceed?
Thanks in advance.
Currently using marshmallow without problems. I can say this is even better than lollipop.
been using marshmallow since the update came, no problemo
No problems.
My mm update.. Have this android system eating battery a lot...
Its faster but this app i have been trying to detonate since!
It me or her *****
Lost fingerprint usability with the 6.0 update. Also a brand new fingerprint sensor didn't fix it so it must be related to the system.

Updates are guaranteed for 2 years since original release I believe. So yes, 2017 for major ones at least.

Nexus 9/14.1 Update Mystery

Im running Android app "LOS Changelog" and have noticed updates for the N9/wifi 14.1 are still coming even after LOS dropped the N9/wifi.
If LOS has dropped N9/wifi why am I still seeing updates being rolled out?
Thanks,
Nylo
PS: Why is the Galaxy S5 still being supported, but the S7 was dropped?
