Knox warranty void flag

I'm currently using stock MF6 firmware and there is no indication of the Knox warranty void flag in download mode. Does anyone know which firmware introduced this flag on the S4 mini or is it not implemented, yet? I'm asking because I want root access and need to know which prerooted firmwares I can choose from without this flag.

As far as I can tell, there's no Knox flag known on any S4 mini firmware or variant. Definitely mine has no sign of it either. And from what I read, at least ith the S4 it was never transparent, only when the flag appared could you kill it, in older firmwares no matter what you did the flag was never set until you upgraded and there was something considered wrong then.
4.4 is supposed to bring Knox for the mini so it may bring the flag, which could be easier, harder or the same to avoid as the S4, only time will tell I guess. If it's similar, hopefully enough will have been learnt by the time S4 mini get 4.4 that we can easily get around it.
@Nil Einne
Thank you for your reply. Which firmware version are you using?
(I9195XXUA)MG3 (which is 4.2.2 / JDQ39). It's currently the latest for my CSC. I may root soon perhaps using a prerooted firmware (since mine is so old) but I'm waiting to see if anyone has tried it on a 16GB version. I didn't mention before but I guess it's clear now I have an I9195 but I haven't seen any mention of Knox flag seen for any variant of the S4 mini on current firmwares.
My s4 mini (I9195) came with firmware MF7 and was upgraded OTA to MG8.
After that I flashed with Odin to MH2 (Android 4.2.2).
Thereafter I flashed a custom rom (Slim with 4.3.1).
Where and how can I see whether my Knox warranty void might be 0x1 now.
And what if I flash back with Odin to firmware MF7?
Is that still possible without a later upgrade problem?
Curious about your info.
New Rom XXUBMJ7 whit KNOX bootloader (aboot.mbn) and aplications.
After flash this Rom we have on Download Mode:
KnoxKernelLock: 0x0
KnoxWarrantyVoid: 0x0
Like on Note 3 N9005, if we flash something, customer, root, KnoxWarrantyVoid: go to 0x1 and this is not reversible.
To Root
The Root-Kit-V1 install all superuser, SU and busybox but after reboot the SuperSU can't access to system, KNOX not permit.
To solve this we must flash after, on recovery the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip from Chainfire. After we have root alright.
My case like on Note 3:
I not need the KNOX, the phone is only for me, then after root I delete all KNOX apk + odex from system/app.
Good luck

[Q] How to Manual Flash Stock ROM??

First of all, my phone is not rooted. I downloaded the Samsung official 4.3 Unbranded ROM for my country from HERE but I have no idea how to manually flash it without tripping KNOX and voiding my warranty.
Does anyone know how I can safely flash it?
I think that tecnically you can't... You probably have to install one of the ROMs in the development section that don't have Knox... You have some options... But that would imply rooting, changing recovery, etc etc... The thing is when you install the ROM you don't "trip" Knox... You only do that if you try to root it, change recovery etc. So if you're NOT planing to root or use custom roms, AT LEAST until you're warranty expires, you can install the software even via Kies Air and don't lose you're warranty... ow! By the way I can't confirm you if you're source is good... The "official source" for "official firmware" is http_etc_samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7105T (canĀ“t post links... just substitute "http_etc_" for the "htp://www"), at least for your model that I assume that is GT-N7105T and not GT-N7105 or GT-N7100... But even with that you need aditional software (on the PC: Odin, or, on the phone itself: Mobile Odin Pro, which requires root) Once again I can be mistaken...

[Q] Kingo root help

So i have a Galaxy s4 mini with sprint as my carrier. I'm currently trying to root it via Kingo root app but the problem is that everytime i try, the end result is NeedRoot. I checked my phone and apparently the problem is that everytime I try to root, i get a little shield on my phone saying "Security notice" once it's clicked it states " An attempt to access a secure area on your phone without authorization has been blocked. Make sure your phone is protected by updating the security policy to the latest version from samsung". So how do I remove this policy problem? I just want to root my S4 Mini. Any help/advice is great help, thank you!

If you took all the updates and are on NA7, no. As far as I know we need ODIN/Kies to root now. Ideally, we wouldn't have have taken the update that made Knox an issue. Someone would have dumped update, broken it apart and gave us a zip to flash everything but the bootloader so we wouldn't have these issues.

Hi i have a s4 mini gti9195i with knox rooted by kingo root apk
how can i change from kingo's superuser to supersu from chainfire? The update of the binary fails.
Not fast but 100% good way:
1. Flash stock firmware with odin (remove kingoroot and all it's trash).
2. Use CF-Auto-root or (if you plan to use custom roms) flash custom recovery.
Notice:
CF-Auto-root probably will trip knox flag when trying to disable knox security.

A520 2017, How to revert Knox to 0x0 from 0x1 after rooting

Hi,
can anyone help me to revert A520f 2017 Knox to 0x0.
Unfortunately I tried to Root my A5 2017, I am luckily successful to root my phone, but after that I realized that I will not receive OTA nor able to use sHealth app.
So I downloaded stock Rom and Totally re-flash everything(AP, BL, CSC...).... Although it remove the Custom recovery + super user etc. But when I tried to Open sHealth App, it saying that "Due to new Security Policy Samsung Health cannot be opened on a Rooted device. 0x110040581".
So, Is there any way available to reset everything means to bring it to zero position?

Can you tell me is there any way available to use Samsung Health App. I am not worried about knox tripped nor warrenty clain... but worried about using default Application, OTA and Patch etc.
Would it possible use all these using root? Or any other way available..
Eg. I was using xposed in LG G3 which having small app like root clock. Which allow to fake those app which were not working on rooted device. But knox case seems different

No I dont want to hide root explicitly , I just want to use Samsung Health Application, if there is any way available to by pass the error message
"Due to new Security Policy Samsung Health cannot be opened on a Rooted device. 0x110040581".
Kindly tell me, either by hiding the Root Or Editing any file

I just told you, to bypass apps that detect root you need Magisk su.

You are able to use samsung health after rooting.
you have to be rooted again and i would recommend using TWRP + Magisk to root so it is systemless and you can still pass safetynet after rooting.
you will need to download TWRP, Magisk v12.0, dm-verity patch.
1. put magisk v12.0 and dm-verity patch onto the sdcard in the phone
2. flash TWRP
3. boot into recovery and swipe to allow modifications.
4. under wipe there should be a button to format data (its in the bottom right). you will need to do this to flash magisk and dm verity.
5. flash dm verity and THEN magisk
6a. boot into phone and complete setup to get to home page.
6b. download any systemless root app that you want (adaway works you just have to turn on systemless host files in magisk settings + viper4andriod has a module in magisk that you download for it to work)
(DO NOT TURN ON HIDE MAGISK UNTIL THE END)
7. download the app buildprop editor, open it and grant it root. search for the line ro.config.tima=1 and change the value from 1 to 0.
8. reboot the phone and you should now be able to use s health.
continue following if you wish to pass safetynet and be playstore certified (set up your root apps like viper and adaway before doing this)
9. go into magisk settings and enable the setting Magisk Hide. reboot phone. check that you pass safetynet in magisk manager after booting up again
10. go into app manager, find google play store, tap storage and then clear the data.
11. open app again and you should be certified. (this took me a few tries. not sure if it was play store needing to update the property or me needing to reboot the phone)
12. Yay! your device should now be able to pass safetynet and will be play store certified in the play store app. you should soon be able to see netflix in the play store again.
source: I done this on my a520 just on the weekend to be able to update netflix

Root galaxy S9 question

Hi, can anyone tell me this, if root my device my Knox is tripped, later if i install a original rom can i have access again to security folder and Samsung pay etc.. again? or i dont have access anymore with original rom whith knox tripped.
Can anyone help me plz
Once you trip knox you're screwed with those apps.
IIRC now don't quote me on this, but Magisk from what I know allows the user to hide the fact that their device is rooted so that apps like GooglePay still work without detecting that the device has been modified. Not sure if it's the same with Samsung exclusive apps but I wouldn't risk it. If you use those features regularly I don't recommend it. But perhaps someone else might know more about this.
