I recently discovered the possibility of flashing custom rome to my LG G3. I flashed Resurrection Remix(5.1.1), and was told that Liquid smooth(5.0.1) has better battery life. I proceeded to download the rom (I didn't download Gapps because i already had Gapps from resurrection remix) to my SD card. I charged my phone up to 100%, booted to custom recovery( TWRP), backed up every thing, wiped(factory reset), and flashed the rom. Up until here everything went fine. When I was going to flash the Gapps I saw that they are for android 5.1 and decided I would skip that and continue to install them after I boot and download the correct files.
I proceeded to boot into system, I saw the LG boot logo, the liquid smooth boot animation started, and then I got this screen:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Kernel Crash
--------------------------------------------------------------------
DemiGod Crash Handler : Kernel Crash
Press Key to chose Dload or Reboot.
1) Volume Up : Dload Mode.
2) Volume Down : Reboot.
If you choose Dload Mode,
Please do the following action,
1) Dload mode, Please connect USB
2) Got the ram dump image using QPST Configuration.

Board Info
rev. : 1.0 speed,pvs : 3.0 serial 0d3823132d08e09a

Kernel Panic - not syncing: Out of memory and no killable processes...
When I try to reboot by pressing volume down it reboots in the same way back to this screen, when I try download mode(although i have no idea what I can do with it) it says "Volume Up: Jumping to Dload mode.
Please help me, I have no idea what to do and am not familiar with logs and .kdz and such...
I appreciate all the help I can get, thanks

On this page(http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-liquidsmooth-v4-0-t2955089) the OP states:"Some users Report that the normal variant also give kernel crash to 2GB RAM models. So make sure to make backup before flashing, i try to fix, but i can just blind fix because i own the 3GB RAM model." Since you have the 2gb model you seem to have this issue. I guess read through the thread and see if there is a fix available...or maybe try a different d855 kernel? (I have a vs985 so I can't give any info/advice on that)
Or just use a different ROM. LS hasn't been updated in a while...unfortunately...I kinda miss it.

After a full day of reading tutorials on the internet and playing with the buttons on my Phone (to enter any mode).. I was finally able to enter recovery.
I pressed volume down to reboot, and then while the screen was black I pressed the power button and the volume down together, and as soon as I saw the LG logo I released the buttons and immediately pressed them again. After that I got into an LG screen (might be download mode?), that asked if I want to restore back to stock, I said no and then it rebooted into recovery, from there I flashed resurrection remix again and my phone booted normally.
Hi! I had the same problem with my LG G3 (Sprint LS990/3GB). I took it in to Sprint repair because it would not boot and when I came back they showed me this error on the screen then told me that it is rooted I would have to call a third party repair place. I could have swron I unrooted the thing but anyways. Problem is when I tryed to reboot it to go into dl mode the phone will not stay on for more than 20 secs, making it impossible to recover it. Has anyone else had this problem?
When i was on blisspop i had same problem so i flashed cm12 but the problem was not fixed but after flashing cloudyg3 everything works fine also on blisspop, now its 7-8month never had kernel crash again, So basically flash any stock based rom. But it will be more better if u flash kdz or tot from lg flash tool.

When this kernel crash occurs, it can not boot to Download Mode or recovery mode. How can you flash to Cloudyg3 without recovery mode??

It didn't apply on me.. I have remove the battery million time and left the battery off over night. It keep boot in Kernel Crash mode. On the Kernel Crash mode, it has a option to enter the Dload mode by press the up volume key. It keep hang in Kernel Crash mode, after i pressed. Any another suggestion or anyone ?
Maybe I should consider hard bricked and using qhusb 9008 fix
Fix for me: Remove battery and put back, power on (several times) --> then the green screen gone away - now i can use the phone normally.
My situation:
- LG G3 D855 (international)
- Error: restart constantly
- Then I install another stock os wih Europe version
- Then it run well (4-5 hours) before getting the green screen
- ... (search in forum and google)
- Finally I foud that way to fix it.
That's all for the end

I really think this is a hardware related problem. Some success with all of these various methods, but even if it boots to a workable android, eventually it freezes. There are no real solutions, but to open the phone, and find the offending parts. Maybe some heatsink grease( there was always a lot of heat by the buttons, and camera module). Best thing that's happened, is it stayed on, til I turned it off, then it was back to the demigod when I turned it back on again. Seems like it's a problem with all LG phones.

Yes I have this problem with my LG G3 now. Looking for a fix. Wont stay in download mode long enough to do anything.
I had this too (with AT&T D850). I tried a lot of stuff. Putting the phone in the freezer for a few min and directly afterwards flashing actually allowed me to successfully flash stock via download mode but it would go back to crashing shortly after that. Ultimately I could not solve it, apparently it was a hardware issue.
Greeting from Turkey,
I couldn't get some LG updates because i rooted my phone a few months ago, so i decided to install a stock rom. I am from Turkey, and the G3 Beat is D723.
I found the right KDZ file and tried to install it with "LG Flash Tool 2014" but i was getting stucked at %2 all the time, i searched a bit and found some related topics about getting stucked at %2, according to those guides i had to install TWRP.
But unfortunately i've made a mistake here and installed TWRP for D722 via Flashify. The app asked for a reset.
After the reset the screen went full white and it slowly faded and became grey/black, like it is overvoltaged or something but later, at some point while i was trying to fix the brick i saw a USB image at the screen for half a second somehow, so the LCD is working.
The phone is working on background, i called myself and i was able to answer the phone, my alarm rang at morning, I can lock and unlock via double tap ( Screen goes white and black with lock/unlock ) etc. the touch screen is working, but totally no display.
I am able to load to download mode as well ( still no display ) but i still can't install kdz rom, it is getting stucked at %2. And this seems the only way because i can't find tot file for D723, and can't install TWRP.
There needs to be some fix for this. I really need to bring this back to life Any help counts.
Help!

I also have the same problem, did you get any solutions ??
Sorry, I'm using Google Translate
Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me , my friend told me that I will find the best developers here.
Here is the full story , I have this Samsung GT-i9060i and it was working just fine. But lately the SIM card stopped working , so people keep telling me that I need to change the ROM to fix that issue.
I started searching online how to do that , and I've found that I need first to install a custom ROM, so I searched a little and I found this youtube video
It requires rooting the phone , and I did that using Kingoo Root and everything went great. In the video it asked to download TWRP image from the description ( this link basketbuild (.)com/devs/LuK1337/TWRP/baffinlite/ )
So after finishing all the steps from that video , I restarted my phone , and here start the problem , it didn't want to restart , it just keep giving me a black screen , I know it's ON because the black screen was brighter.
I searched how to flash it even with that issue , and I found that I can use Odin3 , but I need first to go into Download Mode by clicking Power button+Volume down+Home button , I did that but all I get was "select boot mode" page , and it don't even let me choose , it get blocked , and even if I'm fast and choose one of the option it just get blocked like that for a while , then restart and give me again that bright black screen.
please see the image here => i.imgur(.)com/AUr9QbRr.jpg
I wanted to use SP Flash Tool , but it won't recognize my device , If it did it will be easy because I don't need to go into Download Mode.
Please someone help me ,
I really need to make my phone work again , just like before , I don't even need to fix that SIM issue.
Thanks
The problem is you already root with kingoroot why you install twrp
Sent from my GT-I9060I using XDA-Developers mobile app

My mobile not booting I try to boot it telling no command n not upgrade
Hello Everyone,
This is my first thread on this forum, which i am making because I ran out of options, and don't know what to do....
My Samsung Galaxy S4 mini(GT-I9192) were shut down automatically when i am using it.After then I started my phone again
it starts normally but after the details Samsung Galaxy S4 mini(GT-I9192)comes and it again turn off and again restarts and
this process is going again and again. As I tell you my phone doesn't stuck on a boot as my phone restarts again before the samsung logo comes.
I've tried Emergency firmware upgrade and Initialization through kies but after entering model no. and S/N,
It says 'GT-I9192' does not support initialization. I've done that before with kies it never gives that error I don't know why now.
After That I tried to install stock firmware by Odin in download mode, The process gets completed pass message comes after that my phone reboots in recovery mode and a message print on the bottom "did not match size '/system/csc/common/system/csc/others.xml' (no data available)" i don't know what is that for and after that i reboot my phone and still same thing...
After all that I think maybe its an hardware issue but if it is an hardware issue then how my phone starts and again shutdown so i don't think it's an hardware issue btw i don't know what it is.
So Please If anyone Have any Solution please help me.
Thank You
I have same problem on my galaxy s4 mini gt-i9195 LTE.
first the phone doesnt wanna turn on at all, just show as QHSUSB_DLOAD
after xx hours googling for solution i try unbrick.img which bring the screen back in live:good:
then i try several roms but the phone reject the flash, so i try flash with original stock rom, that went successful
but that doesnt change something, still keep rebooting, even when load recovery it get reboot and keep rebooting.
I don't think that this might be a hardware issue, but something wrong with the android partitions.
I'll keep playing with it hope i find some solution.
If someone read this and has same or similar issue, please post what you have try so far, so we can work on it and find the problem.:highfive:
Thanks for your reply...
As my phone were start after flashing so many times and now it says Device Memory Corrupted Please reset your device to default
settings and there is a reset tab which doesn't working when i keep pressing that so now i think that maybe my eMMC chip was damaged well exactly i don't know that yet....
well for you just try connecting through kies and do a firmware upgrade and if that doesn't working than flash it through odin and also download PIT file for re-partition....
