You've deleted everything off your phone that's all , to fix download the ROM that you want to use and any gapps if needed and plug your phone into your PC and copy the ROM and if needed gapps to your phone's internal storage then once that is done boot into twrp and install the ROM , if you need any more help just quote my post.....
Edit : sorry I read your post wrong try mounting the system and unmounting keep doing that whilst checking if internal storage shows up I've had that bug a few times and that's how I fix it ...
please! marked it as solved or removed the thread. any moderator?

How did you fix it , also if any of us have helped please leave a thumbs up it only takes a second......
First I erase user data using fastboot which makes internal storage accessible, then flash stock recovery and sideload the rom. That's it. All went Ok.

Hello folks,
Recently I have flashed CM 10 via CWM 6.0.3.2 on my Samsung Galaxy W. (I followed this procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990795)
Everything worked out fine (yay) exept for two issues I have:
1. My SGW doesn't recognize my Sd card (internal) at all. (though internal is mounted in cwm menu)
I have several folders regarding my sd and external sd:
- sdcard> tells me it is "unplugged" (in German> translation might differ) when I enter via file manager
- mnt/sdcard> here it tells me my sd card is unplugged as always
- storage/sdcard0> unplugged
- external_sd> it tells me sd card unplugged if I enter
- mnt/external_sd >here I can enter all of my folders
- storage/sdcard1> here I can enter again
2. My SGW can't mount my external sd anymore. I can clearly enter my external sd's files, but apparently I cannot mount my PC. Especially not with Multimount because it requests me to mount my internal sd (issue 1).
So how do I get it to work properly? - is it possible to do it via Terminal Emulator?
Specifications:
- Samsung Galaxy W
- Android Version 4.1.2.
- Kernel Version: 3.0.80-cyanogenmod-gc689589
[email protected] #1
- Cyanogenmod Version: 10-20130605- UNOFFICIAL-ancora
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi, I have similar issues with internal storage after flashing to 4.2.2 and also 4.1.2. Model is galaxy W previously 2.3.6 stock.
At root, i have
/data, which seems to be my internal storage as the FX file explorer show it has a storage of 1.07gb
/external_sd, which contains my files in micro sd card
/sdcard, which ES say SDCard unmounted
/storage, which contains sdcard0 (SDCard unmounted), sdcard1 (micro sd), usbdisk (SDCard unmounted)
In the andriod settings > storage, I can see internal storage with total space 1.07gb, but unable to mount it.
My camera and gallery says "No external storage available".
What should I do? Please help

This can be done for the SDcard you can unplug and plug directly to an other device like an PC, but not with the internal.
So better try the following. Secure your files if you can. Reboot into recovery and format there both. Rebooot into CM10 or whatever ROM you are using and change your USB operation mode from MTP to Mass Storage.

If The Internal Is The Problem Then You Must Back To The Main Software 2.x.x
Then Back To The Edited Mods And Rom's
The Internal Storage Will Work

You probably mean back to stock Samsung ROM. But how will this fix corrupted partitions? And why "must" if there are probably more simple ways to fix it rather than flashing roms forth and back?
First of all he should format both and switch to Mass Storage mode to see if this fixes his issue. Flashing ROMs still can be tryied as a last resort.

Yeah I Mean (back to stock Samsung ROM) And That This Makes The Phone Due To His Condition Also Came From Its Supplier ..
And That's Fix All Internal Storage Problem's .... By Format The Internal Storage With Force From stock Samsung ROM ...
And I Think He Can't access The Internal Storage To Format It By Him Self ...
I Have Tried That Problem Whin I Have Got My Mobile New .. I Haven't Found Solve For It , So I Have Back To The stock Samsung ROM
..
And Found Every Thing Work Fine Then I Have Back To CM Mod Again... :victory:
If You Have Another Simple Way For That Problem Tell Him ,Please ...

I think you are mixing something up. First of all he didn´t say he can´t mount / access it from CWM Recovery but from a running ROM. This is two different things so it still should be possible to access both in CWM Recovery and to do a format.
Secound. Flashing a ROM will not format the internal Storage but only the partition where the ROM will be flashed to. They are not the same, so this is also two different things. So even if you flash a ROM but are having corrupted SDcards (Internal and external) they will stay corrupted till you fix this.
And this is why I suggested to first boot into RECOVERY, format both and finally after rebooting change to Mass Storage as the MTP Mode is not always working very well. If this doesn´t help he still can flash back to stock ROM.
However now I´m just repeating what I already said before. If you can´t get it, then I´m sorry for you.

Formatting data will only wipe the system data needed to overwrite your current ROM. It is advised to do a full wipe before flashing so no bugs or glitches happen. The worst case scenario if you don't wipe your system data is that your tablet won't be able to boot up. I advise wiping when installing any ROM. Your internal storage should be safe from harm

Let me get a clearer understanding of your problem. What do you need the USB drivers for? If you want to move files, use ADB sideload. (Google it please).

i googled it but i mean use usb like a storage device in recovery(like mount usb in clockwork) not push via adb zips.
I was on 5.1 , not sure which rom. I had no root, so i rooted yesterday using kingoroot. After root my internal storage (sd card) didnt show up (i still can see it in recovery. I tried mounting but nothing shows up on pc)
Also i cant boot into the normal system. Is there any chance to fix? I cant even flash from recovery because there is no rom on sd.
Please help, sorry for my english

While in recovery connect to computer and install adb drivers.
Read on XDA how to flash by adb sideload.
I have watched a lot of tutorials but nothing is working please someone help
I made a video of the problem and what I tried. Can anyone understand what happened
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaN-y-Worlg
Update: In Data i Changed the file system and went back to original. Didn't work.
I even wiped system. But i guess the only problem is to fix the "data". Since it shows 0 Mb size. But i can't find any way or guide. The ones i did find are too advanced and use cmd commands and toolkits which i don't think an inexperienced user like me should be following.
Some background information: i attempted to install Open gApps and enable Camera2 API. I Entered "read only" mode.
The adb shell commands for enabling it wasn't working (some "proprietary" something shown )
So I tried another method. I downloaded the latest Magisk and flashed it. Then i tried gApps. I don't remember when i started to think what went wrong but yeah..
I found this and I think it may be related.
But I don't understand it properly.
And its and Old post for some other Recovery

Why did you wipe internal storage? And what are you trying to mount. If you are trying to install a new rom all you need to wipe is cache, dalvik, system and data. Wiping internal storage removes everything from the internal SD card and if you do this then you have no OS.

At this point i can't care less about the data in internal storage. I just need to flash the official MIUI ROM back, enable Camera2 API and live in peace. At this moment I'm halfway through downloading the ROM but I'm not sure if i can flash it due to the Mount Issue of internal storage. I plan on transferring it to my micro SD card and flashing it from there to System Image. Will it work? And Internal Storage formatting failed in case you didn't notice. Practically nothing worked except the file system change of "data". And even that didn't fix the unable to Mount issue.

Format data, then it'll work, or at least that worked for me. Just back your sdcard up through USB first.

Hello, for those who face the same problem, for my case, just disable the screen password before making the backup
Nice find. That didn't work for me at the time but I've read it might've been the recovery I was using. Glad you got it going.

What do you mean? That their TWRP version is too old and doesn't support encrypted storage? It says "required key not available" so it mean it's recent enough to know about encryption so it's not sure that it's the issue.
