Hi Guys
I have a relly rare problem with my phone. The main problem is that i can't charge it. When I put it on the charger for probbably 10 sec. is charging (orange indicator) but then start blinking orange/green.
I tried also connect to PC, result is the same.
I thought that the problem will be in battery, but today at work I tried college battery and the problem is still the sme.
The funniest thing is, that I can turn - on my phone, get into boot-loader etc, but when i try to turn it on, it starts loading everything work's fine, but just begore the system is loaded (i can see the status bar, loading sd card), the phone shut down.
I really don't know what to do. I tried hard reset, restore backup from original HTC OS, turn on with/without sd card .... i think that everything
Could you help me somehow ?
Thanks
PS: sorry for my english
My boot loader is HBOOT-6-01.1002
RADIO-3.35.20.10
and i'm using Cyanogen Mod 7.03
try without the sdcard! sounds like something may be corrupt on it. if it all works fine without the card then i think a format is necessary ...... this will delete all sdcard data so make a backup 1st then start transfering needed things back slowly, testing a reboot on each new folder etc transfered. or run a disk check of sdcard on pc.
you could also try a fresh flash of the rom too.

Alright, looks familiar btw (exactly like mine lol) - did you have an ext partition? If not: any apps on sd? You said that you flashed the ROM again - did you format or wipe the system partition before? (If you run into ROM related probs most of the time it won't help just to flash the ROM over because the problems might resist).

Yes, i moved many apps on sd-card (i probbably don't have any ext partition, but not sure)
After new flash (if it mean's instaling new from from sd card) i used wipe dalvik cache, but after installation, not before.
So could you tell mr kind of step by step introductions what should I do, because i'm not really good in this stuff :-/
Thanks
Try flashing the rom again but with full wipes, not just dalvik cache. But also cache, data & system. After you do the wipes reflash your rom (and Gapps if needed). This will delete all your apps, SMSs and contacts though...

So i wiped data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, then installed cyanogen mod 7.2.0, but the problem still persists.
Now i think the problem will be somewhere with the apps on sd-card, because before the phone shut down, i can see in status bar text "preparing sd card" ....
Is there anything else i can do ?
and i didn't try flashing gapps, because i dont know what to do ? ... i need to download some zip and install it from sd ? or ?
Thanks

yes: remove those apps (you could do a backup with titanium backup) and try again. You did mention that earlier - a full wipe seems pretty useless if you leave parts that interact on a FAT32 partition... (or do you use an ext partition?).
If you start fresh without any apps on sd you could at least exclude this from the list of possible causes
To make this clear: from my experience there rarely will be one single easy action you could do to solve a persistant problem. Therefore most of the time it helps to follow all the steps of those procedures very careful, systematic and throw lazyness over board
So I'd do a full wipe/new install following this procedure:
format /system, /data
wipe /dalvik-cache, /cache
wipe all/factory reset
flash ROM
flash gapps
reboot without sdcard first (just to make sure)
and i didn't try flashing gapps, because i dont know what to do ? ... i need to download some zip and install it from sd ? or ?

You'll need the correct gapps for your Android version and flash it right after flashing the ROM (has to be done as gapps are freely available by Google but aren't allowed to include into custom ROMs due to licences)
Gapps could be found here: http://goo.im/gapps
So i will try full / wipe (new installation)
I just don't know what you mean by "format /system, /data" and how to do it ... is it somewhere in recovery mode ? or there is any app for it ?
"(or do you use an ext partition?)" - not sure I created somthing probabbly like that, because i wanted to move my apps on sd card ... but not sure ... i'm pretty lame in this stuff.

yes, depends on your version where to find it - it's at "mounts and storage" / "format" here (if I'm not mistaken - sorry too lazy to go there now)

if you "created something" or have all your apps on sd you most probably have an ext partition which you should format/wipe, too, then (after backing up your apps...)
didn't help
formated /system, /data /sd-ext
wipe /dalvik-cache, /cache
wipe all/factory reset
then installed rom from zip , after that i installed google aps, turn it off (because of inserted sd card) than turn it on without sdcard .... but problem is still the same
Use the guide in my signature. First to unroot and S-ON. Then wipe SD card.
Then root again (also in sig), hopefully it'll be gone.

Today at work my colleague tryed your guide (step by step, unroot S-ON , wipe sd partition then root .... etc) but didn't help, he also gave mi error log from phone, so if somone could help me.
I can see some errors in there, but really don't know what to do. Can you help with that ?
Thanks a lot

From what I understand, it just looks like a normal day for the Wildfire; some errors but mainly just day to day errors, somethings that my £560 One S does
Do you know which part he got stuck on by any chance? Which step, etc.

good idea. Having this said it might also be a good idea to carefully check your micro USB slot (this also causes a faulty behaviour with the car dock app sometimes) - you could give it a blast with compressed air to blow out particles (but be careful not to blow the stuff inside the phone).
After many program installations and various rom setups, I want to free up space on my Internal SD Card by doing a full wipe. Is there a way to do this and be able to load a rom?

Stock recovery wipes everything but TWRP preserves the "virtual" sdcard. There might (or might not) be some advanced option in TWRP to wipe the virtual sdcard, never looked.
Twrp has the wipe option, I knew that already. I wanted to find a way to use it and still be able to flash a rom. In any case I figured out how to transfer a file to the device with the ADB push command after getting adb to recognize the nexus. Will attempt all this in a couple of days.

I guess I don't understand what you mean then as by default twrp doesn't reset your virtual sdcard for a wipe, so whichever ROM update.zip files you had on the virtual sdcard would survive a wipe in twrp, so there would be no reason to copy them back over.
I guess maybe your question had nothing to do with wipe, and you were really asking how to transfer a custom ROM install file to the tablet so twrp can install it. You can do that using adb or mtp or just download the file using the browser on the tablet.
In advanced wipe there is a box for internal storage... and TWRP supports OTG so you can connect a flash drive formated to FAT32 that contains the Zip you wan't to flash and flash it like any other file.

This is what I mean. My virtual SD Card (data/media) is bloated with files I want to get rid of. So I wanted to wipe internal storage to clear all files and reinstall a rom. Using ADB or USB-OTG as iamezio says, I can transfer a rom zip back to the internal storage after wiping it to be able to install a rom. When I first made this post I wasn't sure how to do this.

Well, when you do a wipe from twrp, it is just removing all the files using a delete operation, which you can also do yourself.
The part of your question that seemed pertinent to me is you wanted TWRP to see your ROM file, which is the same question one would have if they asked how do I install a ROM.

twrp will wipe you internal storage with that option you saw in advanced settings. i actually did that one day by mistake and had to sideload the files to get back up and running. if that's what you are ready for, then go for it, it'll do it...
My Redmi1s stuck after booting can anyone help its been 2weeks i cant use my phone if i use the notification bar it stucked:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Install TWRP 2.8.7.0 via fastboot (if you dont have a custom recovery) and then clean flash CM12.1 - R28 (Clean flash is wiping cache, dalvik, system, data). Thats the solution for now as no specific details have been mentioned..

I do this when something wrong happens. Do this only if you dont need any of your files on your phone. Get an USB otg, copy the rom gapps and firmware files in a pendrive and connect it to the otg. Boot into recovery, then wipe everything except usb otg. Then flash rom>wipe cache dalvik>flash gapps> wipe cache dalvik> flash firmware> wipe cache dalvik and reboot. This should work for sure. Result: you will have a new redmi 1s with clean rom and I suggest you to try this with cm12.1 r28 (coz I tested this on r28 and it worked)
You need to have latest twrp to do this. No need mounts or anything.

If possible buy an OTG bro. Its just 70INR or around 1$ . Afaik I follow the above said procedure incase anything goes wrong. One more alternative is that use a SD card reader to format your SD card to FAT32 then copy rom+gapps+firmware then do the above mentioned procedure.
Flash Fastboot ROM then try flashing desired custom Rom again

If all attempts fail, then your final step is to instal proper fastboot ROM.
Download the fastboot ROM from http://en.miui.com/thread-177239-1-1.html and install it properly
Red this instructions thoroughly and proceed. http://en.miui.com/thread-55454-1-1.html
Do the above and get back and then we ll see to install CM roms but
What you mean by didn't work what error do you get
strange
@nicko188 follow http://en.miui.com/a-234.html mi flashtool here because I think official link is broken. Select flash all.
I have watched a lot of tutorials but nothing is working please someone help
I made a video of the problem and what I tried. Can anyone understand what happened
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaN-y-Worlg
Update: In Data i Changed the file system and went back to original. Didn't work.
I even wiped system. But i guess the only problem is to fix the "data". Since it shows 0 Mb size. But i can't find any way or guide. The ones i did find are too advanced and use cmd commands and toolkits which i don't think an inexperienced user like me should be following.
Some background information: i attempted to install Open gApps and enable Camera2 API. I Entered "read only" mode.
The adb shell commands for enabling it wasn't working (some "proprietary" something shown )
So I tried another method. I downloaded the latest Magisk and flashed it. Then i tried gApps. I don't remember when i started to think what went wrong but yeah..
I found this and I think it may be related.
But I don't understand it properly.
And its and Old post for some other Recovery

Why did you wipe internal storage? And what are you trying to mount. If you are trying to install a new rom all you need to wipe is cache, dalvik, system and data. Wiping internal storage removes everything from the internal SD card and if you do this then you have no OS.

At this point i can't care less about the data in internal storage. I just need to flash the official MIUI ROM back, enable Camera2 API and live in peace. At this moment I'm halfway through downloading the ROM but I'm not sure if i can flash it due to the Mount Issue of internal storage. I plan on transferring it to my micro SD card and flashing it from there to System Image. Will it work? And Internal Storage formatting failed in case you didn't notice. Practically nothing worked except the file system change of "data". And even that didn't fix the unable to Mount issue.

Hello, for those who face the same problem, for my case, just disable the screen password before making the backup

What do you mean? That their TWRP version is too old and doesn't support encrypted storage? It says "required key not available" so it mean it's recent enough to know about encryption so it's not sure that it's the issue.
