Kavana released a new WM6.1 for Excalibur

Kavana's previous ROMs are very stable. Hopefully this one too. I'm not sure if it can switch between Chinese and English. It seems this version striped clean most 3rd party programs.

I can't download the file from any of the links posted above, is it in English??? Where can I download the ROM???

good find qaplus. Has anyone tried this ? Is it any good ? English or Chinese? Downloading is a challenge because of the chinese language links....

I'm guessing it's not in English, otherwise he would have posted it here. Kavana IS active on these forums, as I've seen him post in other subforums on this site, very recently Maybe someone try to PM him and ask him some questions about this ROM

....or maybe you can rebuild this one nrg and include the english languages.....just a thought

It be nice to get some pics of the rom, and see what new about it.

registered on the rayfile or whatever the f they call it and its a joke, need to download stuff to get the file...no thanks! So far I have been unsucessful in even getting close to getting the file. The one link provided in one of qualpus' links is a 3gp file that is 24mb, I dont know how that could be a rom

开机运存25M左右吧..
他也有个去年更新的版本..

I can't download the ROM either. The download link works weird.
In the original post some users said it has both english and chinese interface.
It looks like the most change is the new kernel to improve performance. And free program ram is about 70M because 3rd party apps are removed.

The Chinese and English ROM will do .. However, there is sometimes less than Bluetooth BUG ... .. others also visit ..

i didnt test wifi,but others who use my rom say wifi is ok

In China,it`s dopod C720/C720W,or HTC S620
but there are many phones shiped from abroad
Excalibur(Dopod C720/C720w,HTC S620/S621,T-mobile Dash almost the same,just the brands

Does this version support Arabic and Hebrew, since both used non-latin charector, what about english?

Bada is a mobile OS platform for phones designed by Samsung Mobile, which currently is the second mobile phone maker in the world. The platform was presented by Samsung in November 2009
System name comes from the Korean word for ocean.
Bada OS is an operating system, in which a nucleus can be used for the Linux kernel or any kernel real time operating system - RTOS. Linux kernel to be used in more advanced models, if the kernel-based system, the RTOS in simpler products, and also cheaper.
Writing applications for the platform it is possible to examine in C++. Samsung provides a SDK and an IDE based on Eclipse. Unfortunately the SDK for research is only available on MS Windows platform.

Samsung S20 Ultra SD version only English meniu. Help!

Hello. I have buyed Samsung S20 Ultra Snapdragon version from China. SM-G9880. I have problem whit meniu language. I changed to my language but meniu still english, or mixed english lithuanian language. I need Lithuanian language. In Samsung suggested language no Lithuanian. Only if i chose "All languaged" i can find Lihuanian. But its not working.. I have mixed translated menu English, Lithuanian. How fix it? Maybe its a way to inject, put Lithuanian language to Samsung suggested languages? Help! Sorry for bad english.

I would think the Global variant with Exynos SoC is more likely to support Lithuanian language. Users with the Exynos Global variant can confirm this.

You're correct, the problem is with Samsung. They offer so many models compatibility becomes a guessing game. Have you tried Morelocale 2 in Google Play Store?

Yea. But showing Lithuanian language whitout any setup. And phone need to be rooted. I think i need wait update.. But i think this can be fixes that phone China version 9880

This is how it looks. It is possible to chose my language, but full translations doesnt work...like "settings menu" stays always in english ....

Is the phones is from Carrier brand? Because mine is, and I hope that the problem with language maybe is for this reason, but don't shure. Obviously a lot of people have this problem. Hope that soon someone will help us

I own an TCL P615 TV with firmware 606. For company information see pictures in links. I have an EU model and therefore cannot use the PVR function. When I use LiveTV, I always get an error because this function is blocked in the EU.
When I unpack the Live Tv Apk, I find an area .json in the path TIF_LiveTV.apk \ assets \ that blocks certain functions depending on the area. I changed this file, but even with Apk-Editor I can't get a file that I can install.
Maybe someone can help? The APK is attached. The changes are self-explanatory as soon as you read the .json.

If you really can't watch TV without PVR, better way is to change TV Project ID number.
You have 421 now and Europe region....TCL-EU-RT2851-S1 (Client Type).
Changing to 552 , you will get Asia-Pacfic region TCL-AP-RT2851-S1.
Edit:
In the same way, you can change back your previous ID to 421.

Wow thats so nice!!!!! But i think ill lost german as language and HbbTv? When i look at the area.json an AU code will be better for subtitles and HbbTv.
May anyone has an AU project ID for me? --- ok i found it @stasiof!!!

In my opinion, when I install Firmware from the other forum we wrote, I can change the TV to my panel with this options? So I'm able to use any software here postet for R851 Board?

add 444 for TCL 55P615 TV! It works with F8 Project version! Panel ST5461D09_1
After reboot I got error in TV app but my firmware was updatet to 634.
After Restart and Channel scan (terminated by Error) all Channels and Channel list via satellite where still alive and I'm able to make more choices. I'm back to germany 421 Project ID bu the firmware is really better than the old one...
Was a little bit complicated but now it works...
PVR not possible because I'm on german Region.
I'll try more next time!

Yes, you can install any firmware for R851T02 platform, even R version.
You never ask me about firmware, so I think you know.
Latest V version is V660.
Latest R version is R117.
With my C715, I am on R117.
