i didnt test wifi,but others who use my rom say wifi is ok

In China,it`s dopod C720/C720W,or HTC S620
but there are many phones shiped from abroad
Excalibur(Dopod C720/C720w,HTC S620/S621,T-mobile Dash almost the same,just the brands

I installed it too, but i think it doesnt work on schaps roms. because when I install those cabs, its says after install "this is a old version so it maybe doesnt work correct" ..I can tell you one thing, I doesnt! i get a empty space on my to-day screen..

On wich version of Schap's ROM are you ?
Because I've seen two versions for this: WWE & FRENCH... depends on you langage: The wwe version didn't work with my French ROM (3.30b)

I got the Dutch version 3.30A
Schap's will release HTC Home plug in it's future ROM, so I think he is already busy with it.

Solution
For those who can't get the HTC Home plug-in with my multilangual ROMs other than english, don't be surprised as those files were extracted from a WWE version Touch ROM!
By renaming some files or translating MUI you should be able to make it work correctly, there is no reason as it works flawlessly with my ROM, even in French!

Guys, I can assure you that it's the latest official version downloaded for Dopod's Australian site.
ROM version: 3.00.707.18
ROM date: 07/24/07
Radio version: 1.46.30.11
Protokol version: 32.79.7020.19H
By the way, this ROM upgrade is bringing no trouble in comparison to Cooked versions that I have already tried al of them.
HSPDA enabled, VoiP on, Video Call on, everything is running smoothly.
But, be sure that before proceeding with upgrade you, it's present latest HARD SPL -Des, etc. on you PPC.
Im using this rom too and it is indeed the official version, and works well! only thing i missing from WM5 is the Voice Call, where can i get that? Im using Jabra BT a lot and want the voice call or was it Voice dial?

i have the modified Dopod-ROM from crab http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=115290 installed.
Now i can not install the sdkcerts.cab.
The installation aborts with install unsuccessfull. No other error.
Have other People with original Dopod Rom the same problem?
Can somebody post me an export of HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies from a device that can install the sdkcerts?

I'd stick to v1.20, found here. Some have been having problems with v1.30 with radio flashing and some other things. Or just try with v1.30 first. Up to you.

petervbeck, sorry bothering you, may be you know the way to add additional lang to standard kbd? or maybe it's impossible by default implementation in ENG ROM? I need russian locale added to default kbd. It's surely exist with official standard HTC 3300 Russian ROM... but it's still WM5 based May be it's possible to get required cab from other official WM6 Russian based devices? Being frankly having 2 or 3 kbds ain't a good thing..

i'm not really sure, but in this thread i found a cab with a russian SIP. Are you searching for something like this ? I don't understand russian language, but maybe this link will help you a bit...
i just did a quick test in a WM6-Emulator image and it seemed to work...seems to replace the english keyboard (strange are the two "handwriting" entries - maybe one for english and one for russian ?) i tried the v02.rar...
The content of this cab with the destination-directories is listed in the image below, maybe you can grab these files from your WM5 and create a new cab ?

the real one as discussed in many threads is CE OS 5.2.1921 Build 18521.0.7.0, the latter one is a fake hex edited to show new build

weather does not get updated
Hello I have installed this rom so far so good but the weather does not get updated. I have notice that bepe's and lasagna do get updated. The only other way to get this updated is to connect through a computer.

oohh i found 2. part and installed,but there is no MSN an such applications..What is the best rom.?
The weather updates fine on mine. The rapidshare link is a complete file. Downloaded MSN from micro$oft.
The only glitch I have found is when you use ROM settings and change the connection manager NOT to use the new settings, the connections page is corrupt. Everything else seems good.
Well was good, after a reboot I cannot get GPRS, etc to connect
I'm having difficulty getting from rapidshare. Anyone can upload to other place?

Kavana's previous ROMs are very stable. Hopefully this one too. I'm not sure if it can switch between Chinese and English. It seems this version striped clean most 3rd party programs.

good find qaplus. Has anyone tried this ? Is it any good ? English or Chinese? Downloading is a challenge because of the chinese language links....
I'm guessing it's not in English, otherwise he would have posted it here. Kavana IS active on these forums, as I've seen him post in other subforums on this site, very recently Maybe someone try to PM him and ask him some questions about this ROM
....or maybe you can rebuild this one nrg and include the english languages.....just a thought
It be nice to get some pics of the rom, and see what new about it.
registered on the rayfile or whatever the f they call it and its a joke, need to download stuff to get the file...no thanks! So far I have been unsucessful in even getting close to getting the file. The one link provided in one of qualpus' links is a 3gp file that is 24mb, I dont know how that could be a rom

开机运存25M左右吧..
他也有个去年更新的版本..
要是想要的话我可以发下载地址给你们..

I can't download the ROM either. The download link works weird.
In the original post some users said it has both english and chinese interface.
It looks like the most change is the new kernel to improve performance. And free program ram is about 70M because 3rd party apps are removed.

The Chinese and English ROM will do .. However, there is sometimes less than Bluetooth BUG ... .. others also visit ..
Yun Cun 25M boot around it ..
He also has a newer version of last year ..

This ROM supports both Chinese and English interface. But it seems to have some bugs... bluetooth has problem sometimes.. others seems fine.
