Kavana's previous ROMs are very stable. Hopefully this one too. I'm not sure if it can switch between Chinese and English. It seems this version striped clean most 3rd party programs.

I can't download the file from any of the links posted above, is it in English??? Where can I download the ROM???

good find qaplus. Has anyone tried this ? Is it any good ? English or Chinese? Downloading is a challenge because of the chinese language links....

I'm guessing it's not in English, otherwise he would have posted it here. Kavana IS active on these forums, as I've seen him post in other subforums on this site, very recently Maybe someone try to PM him and ask him some questions about this ROM

....or maybe you can rebuild this one nrg and include the english languages.....just a thought

It be nice to get some pics of the rom, and see what new about it.

registered on the rayfile or whatever the f they call it and its a joke, need to download stuff to get the file...no thanks! So far I have been unsucessful in even getting close to getting the file. The one link provided in one of qualpus' links is a 3gp file that is 24mb, I dont know how that could be a rom

开机运存25M左右吧..
他也有个去年更新的版本..

I can't download the ROM either. The download link works weird.
In the original post some users said it has both english and chinese interface.
It looks like the most change is the new kernel to improve performance. And free program ram is about 70M because 3rd party apps are removed.

The Chinese and English ROM will do .. However, there is sometimes less than Bluetooth BUG ... .. others also visit ..
Yun Cun 25M boot around it ..
He also has a newer version of last year ..

Bada is a mobile OS platform for phones designed by Samsung Mobile, which currently is the second mobile phone maker in the world. The platform was presented by Samsung in November 2009
System name comes from the Korean word for ocean.
Bada OS is an operating system, in which a nucleus can be used for the Linux kernel or any kernel real time operating system - RTOS. Linux kernel to be used in more advanced models, if the kernel-based system, the RTOS in simpler products, and also cheaper.
Writing applications for the platform it is possible to examine in C++. Samsung provides a SDK and an IDE based on Eclipse. Unfortunately the SDK for research is only available on MS Windows platform.

The you dont need a Bada phone, you just need the rom and some of the boot loader stuff, if you need help i can offer my assistance

[APP][Language Enabler] Enable all hidden languages on a Rooted Samsung Roms

As you know, Ice cream sandwich and Jelly bean Roms for Galaxy S3 support most of languages, but a lot of careers hide many languages which they consider a useless languages in there regions.
I made a free, small and ugly application, but very useful app to allow you enable all those hidden languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, Bahasa...) on the input list settings and the stock keyboard.

SMS in Foreign Language on AT&T phone
I have a rooted US Galaxy S3 and as stated by the developer, the app doesn't change anything.
Does anyone know of a way to allow the SMS reader on 4.0.4 to display foreign languages on incoming messages? That is the problem I have at the moment. I can write, and send them. I can also read foreign languages in a web app, however, when receiving an SMS in a foreign language, it comes in with a ? !, that's it.
I am considering changing roms, but need to find one that has this feature.

What do u mean by official Arabic Firmware?
Just change the Language & Input Methods to Arabic & you are done!
There is no such firmware. All Firmware's are universal and works with most languages.

I bought my device from U.K. and No Arabic language installed on it. It just reads and writes Arabic while the menu can not be changed to Arabic as it does not exist. Please help.

My Z1 compact is not rooted and I do not like the root. I bought Sony Z1 from UK and there was no arabic language in it. Then I installed a rom which was taken from Z1 was bought from Saudi Arabia. Then the Arabic language became available in the Z1. So I want to do the same way with Z1 compact if possible.

Ay one can provide me with Z1 compact rom extracted from a phone was bought from Saudi Arabia.

I bought it here in Saudi Arabia. But, I've flashed UK Firmware for rooting. I don't use arabic language except for input method (arabic keyboard).
To extract MEA FTF I might need to go back on Stock using SUS. I've root so I can change customization no. to get FTF from the desired region. Wait until KK rolls out. I don't have a spare device, or elz I would have extracted for you.
Edit : I too have that ROM from Z1 which u r talking about. It was extracted in UAE, ask any developer to edit it and make flash-able ftf for you.

Latest version of Hey Cortana

I just noticed that there's a version of Hey Cortana (released more than a year ago) that allows you to set it to listen only when screen is on. (from this link)
But on my 930, I'm not seeing such thing, and Store says there's no newer version.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a registry key or something for that to be enabled?
Or, can anyone who has that option repack and post xap/appx of their Hey Cortana app so I can install that on my phone?

Yes, my phone language and region is set to English, United States.
Cortana itself is available on my device. Hey Cortana was not (after a hard reset), but I managed to get it by installing it from Store.
The problem I'm having is that I don't have "make Cortana listen only when screen is on or device is charging" option on the Hey Cortana settings page. My device is Lumia 930, running W10M RS2.

Afaik, Hey Cortana is not there in 930/1520. (Just checked again, it isn't there)
Instead it's a separate Nokia app in system settings -> extras.

Use VPN and use the store like again stay in the store for few minutes it will automatically start to download the newer version
