Hi,
In l'app huawei wear, there is a sleep monitoring function. But she does not work. How the trigger?
Today I use Sleep as Android, but I would use the original function of my Huawei.
Thx

Got it to work?
It doesn't work with the Huawei Watch, that part of the app is for their other devices.
I emailed them about it, they replied:
"Thank you for contacting Huawei Customer Care.
Regarding your question, the Huawei Watch does not feature a sleep mode and cannot monitor your sleep.
Have a nice day!
Kind regards,
Agnes
Huawei Customer Care Team"
I thought the last sentence was unnecessary, and slightly sarcastic!

Yeah, I've been using sleep as android since Pebble but the thing is quite ridiculous that Huawei wear couldn't support the sleep monitor on such a great watch.
Does anyone else experience the watch disconnecting during the night and resulting in a flat line reading in sleep as android all night or no reading?

I have that happen about twice a month. The most recent time the alarm went off and I could not shut it off as the watch and phone were disconnected.
Got a H watch 2 which installs a sleep app and is able to show sleep monitoring in huawei health, on IOS app and Android app
My sleep app doesn't work I have enabled it and slept several times but says in the app no data

Just got my first smartwatch, the 360, yesterday.
Is there an app for tracking running/cycling without having to carry your phone around?
The Google Fit is very basic and gets calories very wrong when it comes to cycling. And Endmondo doesn't support standalone tracking for the 360 (would that becaome available with 5.1.1?). There are loads of apps in store but I can't install and check them all, anyone know of any?
Thank you

This one just takes HR every so often in "work out" mode, the only option on the watch.
I may be asking too much. Maybe with 5.1.1 update we'll see more (some) standalone running apps.
The watch has no GPS, and not the right kind of sensors to determine a distance traveled. All you would get out of an app on a watch is time and heartrate sensor recording.
Smartwatches are not powerful, they work by offloading anything they can to the phone.
I use RunKeeper for my runs and have my phone with me. Since the Moto 360 does not have GPS no GPS app will work on the watch without a phone.
For a stand alone app I have found that UP by Jawbone does a good job tracking activity. If I walk inside at lunch time it will notice I was active and ask if I did an activity and then will calculate the steps into what that activity was. It has like 20 different activities including cycling. I have found that the step count comes pretty close to calculating the correct distance for running or walking, but will not be as accurate as GPS.
Here is the thread on how to link your watch to UP!

Greetings,
I have been using Runner watch face by Richface, Running watch face by Thema, Endomondo, and watchmaker. None can run the HRM continuously during work out. SGT (sport gear tracker) seems to have a continuous HRM but freezes afte two minutes. Are there any HRM app or watch face out there that actually works for all the Android watches be it Motorola, LG, Huawei etc?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.

I have been using the Instaweather watch face for months and just found out that it has HR monitor support. It has options for polled monitoring as well as 1 hour and 2 hour continuous recording.
The settings are a little confusing but this should do what you are looking for. You need to link the app to Google fit to use the HRM.
I am searching for a sleep Tracker app for our smartwatch. The apps i found use the phone or a fitness band.
Thanks

i found Sleep as an Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep
It is an 14 days Trial Version. Costs 3,99€
and Sleep As Android GearCompanion https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep.addon.generic.samsung
Sleep as Android is great.

Sleep as Android is a great sleep tracker and they have burgeoning Wear support. I use it with my 360 and it usually works well. But it will drain battery a lot. you can turn off the watch screen to better battery consumption. It should use less the 20%
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep
apk: http://choilieng.com/apk-on-pc/com.urbandroid.sleep.apk
Sleep Better with Runtastic: another good app, you can try after Sleep as Android trial. It's kinda nice

Have fun!
I paid for the full version of the app when it was going cheap a few months back and now ive got myself a SW3 but im struggling to get it working or see the point of the app using the watch as the tracker.
From what i thought (i might be totally wrong) i would tap the app on my watch and go to bed. and then stop it when i got up. It would then resync with the app on my phone once they reconnected (my phone is on airplane mode at night and not in the same room as me). However i find the app on the phone just basically tells me when i started the tracking on the app on my watch and when i turned it off?
Am i missing something?

I'll give it a bash tonight and see how it perfoms, quick test and looks good. See how the battery performs as the last time i ran the tracking on the watch the battery dropped about 50% overnight.
best put it on cinema mode over night to preserve the battery?
I pu cinema mode on because the display is to bright when it goes on. I loose under 15% over night.

cheers will test tonight and post back with battery usage on phone and watch.
hopefully with wear v2 just round the corner we might be able to use the sleep tracking function independently on the watch, then sync once reconnected to phone. save the hassle.
Ok tested last night, put phone (S7 Edge) into airplane mode then turned on bluetooth manually, set the watch to sleep track and then pout the watch into cinema mode with alarm set on watch (not through sleep as android as not matter what settings i changed alarm would go off on the phone). Both devices lost about 10% of charge. Can live with that.
However will need to try and read up on interpreting the results as unsure what its telling me, graph is very confusing or maybe just an overload of info, and it seems to think i had 2 sleep periods with an hour in the middle of the night of none sleep/not tracking which wasnt the case.
Anyway further testing needed.
I have a Moto 360 first gen, Moto 360 2nd gen, LG G R watch and all of them the display pops right on full brightness when you flick your wrist to display the time. The Huawei watch when flicking my wrist to see what time it is takes a secons and then slooooowly fades in to the watch face. It takes a good second for it to start slowly brightening and then another second to fully display bright. It does it on every watch face ...is this normal ??? I move my wrist to check the time and its a good second or two that i have to stare at the watch to wait for it to slowly brighten from the dark screen. I have ALWAYS ON off and have wrist gestures off.... THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP CAUSE IT DRIVES ME CRAZY !!!
well every watch has it so i guess this is normal

the OTHER watches the display comes right on when you flick your wrist to display the time. The HUAWEI watch, when I flick my wrist to display the time, its black for 2 seconds and then SLOWLY fades into the bright time display....should not take 1-3 seconds for the time to display after you flick your wrist should it ?? Does anyone else have this with their HUAWEI watch ???

There are other threads here stating the same thing with many posts in agreement.. I use a custom ROM on my Huawei that is instant on. It is in the Huawei Development section.

Negalite ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/hua...-negalite-huawei-rom-nx-root-bb-v1-6-t3406813
I use his kernel as well, link is in the OP of his ROM thread.
Deodexed, rooted. Extra apps, more control with his kernel for battery and / or performance. It looks and feels stock, but I use Tasker to make changes on the fly with my watch.
Example - when I go outside and loose wifi, my watch goes to #5 brightness, and when I connect wifi it goes back to #1 brightness. When I start my sleep tracker at night, it goes to do not disturb and theater mode, all automatic with Tasker.

cool thx, i will try it out. I like the idea of changing the brightness based on wifi conectivity. can you share your profile setting if its not too much?
I have another related question , related to tasker. Were you able to get tasker to switch to car bluetooth instead of watch using "BT Near" event? i can get tasker task to do it but it doesnt automatically switch on "BT Near" event

Ditto. I suspect that is because the latest version uses the stock kernel and not his kernel. It isn't ready yet.

Battery use on the watch is about 13% for around 6-7 hours.
From memory When I ticked the box for "Wearables" it gave a list of different wearable, when I ticked "Samsung Gear" it prompted me to download the app on my watch... (used the samsung galaxy store app)
